"Is that so?" Becky obviously didn't believe it.
"Whatever happens, Adeline, don't worry. I won't tell anyone about you two. The reason why I came here alone is to keep it a secret."
Adeline threw her face the other way around, as Becky was clearly here to add to her workload.
When Harrison came back, it was very late. Adeline lay on her bed, back and forth, she could not sleep, heard the sound of the door being opened, she jumped out of bed and went to the door.
Harrison walked in and saw Adeline, who was wearing a nightgown, with a small face, standing blankly in front of the bedroom door.
"You haven't slept?" Harrison swept his body and said, Adeline nodded.
Seeing Harrison about to change his shoes, he immediately ran to the side and crouched down. He removed the soft leather sandals from the shoe rack and placed them beside his feet. Harrison looked at the back of his round head. Suddenly, he felt that the beautiful girl was truly adorable like a toy.
"Waiting me?" He asked again after changing his shoes.
Adeline raised her head. Under the light of the lamp, his black and white eyes shone with a dim, bright and clear light.
"standing. You don't need to be like this from now on." As he spoke, he started walking towards the living room.
Adeline stood up and followed the living room. Seeing that Harrison took off his jacket, he hurriedly came forward and stretched out his hand to take it. Harrison noticed that he was abnormal, so he turned around and looked at him.
"Is there anything you want to tell me?"ask Harrison.
Adeline really became a little confused in her heart. He turned his head left and right, then pretended to reply in a relaxed tone.
"No... that..Nell's not coming back with you?"
After putting down her jacket, Adeline turned around and went to the dining room to pour a cup of water for Harrison. Harrison caught a glimpse into the water, but as he was a little nervous, he did not know where to put his little hand, and he lifted the black hair on his shoulder.
She did so casually, but it was unknown if it was because she was wearing a nightgown or if it was because she had just woken up, she looked extremely charming and graceful. Harrison never allowed himself to think of her as a charming woman, but for some reason, he had this feeling today. He laughed at himself and threw away his face.
Just as he was about to drink some water, a light flashed in his eyes, as he looked closer, looking, he realized that the earrings that were supposed to be lying quietly on his bedside table had been in Adeline's ears. Right now, he knew why Adeline was waiting for him who had arrived late. He wanted to say something, but hesitated.
"It's late, get some rest." He got up to go back to his room.
Seeing that Harrison was leaving, Adeline was a little anxious. She had not asked him the question she wanted to ask him, so how could he sleep?
"Mrs. Spencer ..." She said.
Harrison paused for a moment, and the corner of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a trace of an undetectable smile. He looked over, and looked at her with a doubtful expression.
“Is there something?”
“Then....” He hesitated, not knowing how to ask why his earrings could be in Harrison's room.
very pretty.
He saw the shame in him, so he opened a dialogue. Hearing her take the initiative to mention it, Adeline flushed a little, lowered her head, and she said softly.
"My sister gave it to me as a gift."
