"Do you want to buy ice cream in a normal place?" uncle Abrein asked Evelyn.
"Yes, Grandpa. Soon a little later my favorite variant of ice cream runs out," whined Evelyn with a worried tone.
"Okay, young lady" replied the driver.
Distance from the city center to the apartment not far away. Fifteen minutes has arrived there. Uncle Abrein parked his car in the park area. After that he went down and took the little hand of his master's son.
"Come, miss, don't walk alone" said Uncle Abrein.
Evelyn and her driver entered the largest mall in California. Uncle Abrein went straight to the Big Sweet Ice Cream shop. They have to wait in line to get ice cream that became an idol during the summer.
Coincidentally the ice cream place is very crowded. You have to wait in line to get an ice cream. "Miss, wait here. Grandpa let's queue first. Don't go anywhere!" uncle Abrein told Evelyn.
"Yes Grandpa, Evelyn will sit here sweetly," Evelyn replied.
After that, Uncle Abrein lined up to get ice cream. Fifteen minutes later, the driver got the ice cream Evelyn liked, "This Miss, eat it fast! It will melt for a long time."
Evelyn received the ice cream and ate it slowly. "Hem, this is too good, cake. Can, ask for that flavor, cake. Quickly Grandpa queued again later there will be many people," cried Evelyn while struggling.
"Ba-good Miss!" Uncle Abrein was back in line because his foster son asked for ice cream again.
The cute little girl was enjoying her ice cream with vigor. Then, his little eyes saw something that caught his attention. Evelyn got down from the chair and walked on her own following something.
Uncle Abrein did not know that his foster children were going alone. He was too focused in the queue. Ten minutes later, Uncle Abrein returns and finds his foster son missing.
"Miss this ice cream ....! Miss, where is your young lady? Gawat, what if there's a kidnapper? I have to report to the information department." Uncle Abrein panicked when he didn't find his foster children. He immediately ran to the information section to seek help.
"Grandfather, where's Grandpa? Grandpa," cried Evelyn looking for Uncle Abrein.
Evelyn walked back and forth after not knowing the direction back to where the ice cream was. He kept circling around in a pretty crowded place.
"Grandfather, Grandpa! Huh, how is this? Mommy's gonna be mad at me!"
As Evelyn stood up she suddenly bumped into someone, "Awww! Opps! Sorry," exclaimed Evelyn, she bumped into someone and accidentally littered her shoes with ice cream that she was carrying.
Evelyn raised her head, she saw a pair of men and women were looking at her. "Sorry, I didn't mean it" Evelyn said apologizing.
"Hey, little boy. You don't know any manners. Look at my girlfriend's dirty shoes. Those expensive shoes know, your parents definitely can't afford to replace them" Caroline snapped in a rude voice.
"Sorry, uncle. I didn't mean it!" evelyn said with her head down.
The man remained silent, not responding to Evelyn's apology. Instead, he looked closely at Evelyn's face.
"Darling, let's go. I'm going to buy you new shoes" Caroline said with a warm sling on the man's arm.
"Sana go alone. Didn't I tell you to leave Caroline?" throw the man away in a sniffy tone.
The man crouched down to look at the grieving Evelyn, "Hey, Beautiful don't have to be sad. Uncle is not angry with you. It's okay."
Evelyn straightened her head looking at the man's face, "Really, Uncle isn't angry with me? Because I got Uncle's shoes so dirty."
"It's okay! You've also apologized to Uncle. So it's only natural Uncle sorry you," replied the man kindly.
"Thank you Uncle well" Evelyn said with a sweet smile.
Caroline was angry that she was ignored by the man, "Darling let's get out of here. What are you doing here? Just wasting time."
The man glanced at Caroline, "If you want to go then just go. Go away, don't follow me."
"Auntie, you didn't hear what Uncle said. Aunt was told to go with Uncle. My be, Auntie's deaf!" evelyn's chirps made Caroline even more upset.
"You little boy has no manners huh. No parents, right?" caroline was rude to make Evelyn even more angry.
"It's worth Uncle ignoring Auntie. Aunty's attitude was like that of a witch" Evelyn exclaimed, making Caroline even more angry and wanting to hit her.
"Here you bad boy. You should be taught a lesson. Here you are." Caroline readied her hand to hit Evelyn. However, Evelyn quickly hid behind the man's back.
"Caroline stop! Now that you're gone, don't you ever show up in front of me again." The man yells at Caroline and forces her to leave.
"Shiiit! Watch out you bad boy!"
"Bye, bye fierce aunt!" Evelyn taunted Caroline who stepped away from that location.
The man smiled at Evelyn's jail behavior. Then, he approached the little girl to ask her some questions.
"Hey, beautiful what's your name?"
Evelyn replied, "don't call me pretty Uncle?"
"Why? You are so beautiful, son!" the man was astonished.
"Okay, Uncle answered that question. What's your name sweet?"
"My name is Evelyn, Uncle. I'm seven years old."
"Hem, your name is nice and pretty. Fits this cute face."
Evelyn came closer to the man's ears. He whispered something to her. "Uncle, I'd like to ask you. Was that Uncle's wife?" evelyn whispered quietly. Evelyn's attitude made the man want to laugh.
"Why do you ask it's sweet? You seem very curious?"
Evelyn shook her head. He replied with origin, "No, I'm not curious. But, quickly answer Uncle! I don't like waiting."
Seeing Evelyn's pouting face made the man even more anxious, "OK! Uncle answered. Aunt was not Uncle's wife. Just a work buddy."
"Huh, thank goodness!" des@h Evelyn with a breath of relief.
The man frowned. He was more and more curious about the little girl.
"Why if that Aunt is Uncle's wife? You don't seem happy with him?"
"Yep, I don't like him Uncle. If she was Uncle's wife, then Uncle's days would be miserable. Look at her face, like the witch in the movie I saw. It's horrible!"
The man chuckled at Evelyn's cute expression, "Hahaha, you made Uncle want to laugh sweetly. You are so funny, son. Where's your parents, Hem?" ask the man.
"I'm lost Uncle. My mommy's at home, I came here to buy ice cream with Grandpa. I kept seeing something beautiful. I went down and followed him. But, after I turn around, the path is gone Uncle."
"Hem, next time don't do that. It is dangerous if there are bad people. It's a good thing you met Uncle."
Suddenly there was a voice searching for the missing child informed by the security department. The man heard the information and immediately invited Evelyn back, "Grandfather is looking for you. Uncle go there!"
"May, but I'm asking for Uncle's sling! Yes, yes," Evelyn said with a blink of her eyes.
The man smiled and accepted the little girl's request. "Alright, this is special to you because your face is so sweet" replied the man, holding Evelyn in his arms.
"Where's Uncle's house?" evelyn asked by playing the button of the man's shirt.
"Uncle is from Italy, son. Uncle's here on business."
"Emm, if Uncle lives here I'd love to introduce Uncle to Mommy."
"Where's your Daddy going?" asked the man and made Evelyn instantly silent.
"Why? Something wrong with Uncle's question?"
Evelyn shook her head, "I don't have Daddy, Uncle."
"Sorry, baby! Uncle doesn't know!"
From a distance, Uncle Abrein saw his foster son back. He immediately ran over to Evelyn.
"Miss, thank goodness young lady survived! Thank you, sir, for taking my foster child! Once again I say thank you" Uncle Abrein told the man.
"Sama-sama Uncle. It was great to meet this sweet and clever little girl" exclaimed the man with a soft pinch of Evelyn's puffed cheek.
"Yes, you go home. Uncle go first. Bye sweet!"
"Wait Uncle, here first" Evelyn yelled at the man.
"What's wrong?" The man crouched down in front of Evelyn.
"Emuach! Thank you for helping me Uncle. Nice to meet Uncle!"
The man was stunned for a moment. There was a strange feeling flowing in her heart when she was kissed by Evelyn.
"Yes Uncle is also happy to meet you. Uncle went yes. Hye!" The man waved his hand and disappeared behind the crowd.
"Miss, let's go home. Later, Miss can be scolded by Mommy!" uncle Abrein said, he broke Evelyn's daydream. I don't know what the little girl was thinking.
