The Romantic Story of a Loner High School Boy
Chapter 28: The Girl with Glasses

Bu Fitri is now writing one by one the names of students on his class whiteboard in turn.

And when Bu Fitri wrote the name of the group 8 members, Daffa was immediately dumbfounded and speechless when he saw it.

Syifa suddenly stood up from her seat, "Mom! Anyway I don't want a group with him!" Say Syifa in a high tone while yelling at her desk.

"Why? Just for one day doang kok," replied Bu Fitri.

"I don't want Mom... The same is true of the others" replied Syifa.

Bu Fitri looked snorted with a slightly disappointed face. Then he said as he stared at Daffa, "Daffa, do you agree with each other?"

Quickly, Daffa nodded his head several times indicating that he agreed. "Yes, Mom."

"Then... " Say Bu Fitri.

"I'm with Bella, ma'am" said Syifa.

"Bella yeah..." Bu Fitri seemed to be thinking.

"Yes, the group of eight exchanges pairs with the group of three. So Syifa is with Bella in group three, while Daffa is with Charla in group eight." The Light of Bu Fitri.

Syifa sat back on her bench. At the same time, Daffa is seen raising his hands up.

"Mom, can I be with a guy?" Ask Daffa with his clear-looking face.

Bu Fitri immediately denied Daffa's words, "No, you're with Charla only. The protest only happens once."

"Eh..." Daffa then lowered his hand slowly. "Yes my... It's bad." Daffa muttered in his heart as he looked at Charla who was sitting on the front bench.

Charla, who realized she was being noticed by Daffa, immediately lowered her head down in nervousness.

Meanwhile, Bu Fitri continued to share his group until everything was finished.

"Who hasn't written his name on the board?" Ask Bu Fitri.

"It's all Mom..." Compact one class.

"OK then. So, the task is in the math package book pages nineteen to twenty-two. Ten multiple choices and five descriptions. Collected tomorrow Friday in the teacher's room, precisely at Bu Fitri's desk. If tomorrow does not collect, it will be considered non-work and given a blank value." Bu Fitri's light to his students.

Daffa gulped down his face as if there was sweat popping up. "Null value? Time is only one day for me." He murmured in his heart.

The lessons continued until the afternoon.

***

Day starts afternoon. Teachers and students including Daffa appeared to start walking out of the classroom right after the school bell had rung.

Daffa today was seen the first one out of his class after his teacher. "If you play at home... Later Charla even fussed herself too, it would be strange if there are two." Daffa seemed to keep thinking as he walked slowly towards the school gate.

"Oi Daffa...!" Shouted Syifa who was behind Daffa.

When Daffa looked behind him, he saw Syifa who was trying to force Charla. And behind him was Bella who was walking after Syifa.

"Don't just leave Charla! Pity her for being in a group with you" Shouted Syifa rather loudly while pushing Charla before Daffa.

"Eh... Though because of who tried," Daffa murmured in his heart.

Charla who was hugging some of her books seemed to try to resist Syifa's encouragement. "I'm okay," he said softly.

A few seconds later they arrived right in front of Daffa.

"Oi Daffa, you were going home, right?" Syifa asked with an angry look.

"Hehe..." Daffa just laughed and seemed to be trying to turn his gaze the other way.

Daffa held onto the plastered part of his face and said, "I fell down the road."

"Stupid...." Say Syifa clean with a flat face.

"I can do it all myself" said Charla, looking confidently at Syifa.

"What...? It's a group assignment not independent, so Charla... This task must be done together according to their respective groups." Reply to Syifa who then looked at Charla.

"But it..." Charla.

"There's no buts. If that is allowed... I can also do it all myself." Reply Syifa.

The two of them also seemed to clash their mouths while looking into each other's eyes.

While they were in the midst of the storm, Daffa remained silent in front of them. "Huh... Thank goodness he forgot about the incident." Mumbled Daffa who seemed relieved to see it.

Soon Syifa and Bella seemed to leave Daffa and Charla both there.

"Syifa, this is just my hunch or really yes... Do you like Daffa?" Bella asked as she walked with Syifa.

"What...? Where is it possible." Syifa replied, turning her eyes the other way.

On the other hand, such a calm and noiseless atmosphere was all around Daffa with Charla. The two of them did not say a single word.

"Do I have to start talking first?" Daffa muttered in his heart. "Even if she's smart, but she's a quiet girl." Continue muttering.

In the eyes of her friends, Charla was a silent bespectacled girl. Even though he was a very smart student, but he was difficult to talk to especially with a guy he just knew. He carries his book with him at all times.

"Let me do it...!" Shouted Charla who suddenly ran away leaving Daffa on the spot.

"What...?!" Daffa's face looked confused.

Daffa immediately ran after Charla and held her hand so as not to run back.

"Eh...?" Charla looked shocked which she then turned her head back towards Daffa.

"Wait a minute, don't run so hard" said Daffa, who tried to calm Charla down.

But that even made Charla even more panicked with the reaction of her reddened face.

"Take me off! Unhand me! Unhand me!" Charla cried out a little loudly while trying to pull her hand from Daffa.

"I have to how is this?" Muttering Daffa asked himself to hold Charla's hand. It didn't take long, Daffa thought of an idea.

"That's it! We'll work it out in the school library." Daffa said excitedly.

"Eh?" Charla stopped tugging at his hand after listening to Daffa.

"Then.... Let's go over there?" Ask Daffa. He still hesitates whether Charla will or not.

Charla lowered her head while hugging the books and she said softly, "Alright."

"Huh..." Daffa seemed relieved to listen to him.

"Well, it's okay, don't keep your head down either." Daffa's words were trying to calm Charla when he was trembling himself.

Charla did not reply to Daffa's words. However, Daffa's words even made him lower his head towards the books he embraced.

"I think I'd better shut up." Daffodied Daffa who looked confused.

The two of them were then seen walking together towards the school library where there were many books.

Seriate....
