"Mom, actually I've been in the last few months near a guy who works at a shoe factory down the street. He wants to take me to his house. I don't think I let you go there." Tanya Tini was afraid.
"Where's house?" Ask Bu Lastri while ironing clothes
"Mother Surabaya."
"You dong nginep if you go there. No, I don't give permission." Miss Lastri said quickly.
"Mothers. Also on the way, just last night doang Bu. We're going straight back. Don't you want me to have a serious relationship with a man?" He tried to convince his mother
"When are you there?"
"Saturday Ma'am."
"Ask your father later. I can't make decisions." Miss Lastri replied uncertainly.
Tini walked into her room in a doldrums. He thought it would be difficult to get permission from his parents. The distance that makes Tini have to spend the night. Even though it was only last night it seemed that it would be a problem in itself for his parents.
Shortly after, Rusdi just returned from his motorcycle taxi. Ms. Lastri immediately made her husband a warm cup of tea
"Sir, your youngest son was invited to his girlfriend's house. But his house in Surabaya. That's far sir, that means Tini has to spend the night. What do you think? What permission do we give?" Tanya Bu Lastri thrust a cup containing warm tea.
Mr. Rusdi sipped his tea a little and put it back on the table. "Say Tini, her boyfriend told her to come here first if he wanted to take her to his house. Cook yes want ngajak children people, do not find his parents first. Ask her boyfriend to let us go." Mr. Rusdi replied firmly and then stepped into the bathroom.
"Assalamualaik." Shouted Siti coming home from trading
"Getishalight." Answer Miss Lastri. "Where? Leaving?" Ask to receive a box to sell the cake.
"Alhamdulillah Ma'am." Said Siti handed over the money from the sale that was not left.
"It's for you. Buy cream like Tini's. I see your face her acne is already visible vaguely. It only wears two weeks. If it fits, keep it. Let her face clean." Said Bu Lastri handing over some money sheets to Siti.
"Thank you, Mom. I'm sorry I cut down on mom's shopping rations." Siti said she felt bad
"No. Nothing to wear, the best for you Tini will definitely do. Take a shower, keep eating."
**
At 7 p.m., they perform a dinner ritual. Everyone seems to be focusing on their own food. Only the thump of spoons and plates sounded. Until suddenly
"Tin, mom said that you want to go to your boyfriend's house in Surabaya. Really?" Ask Rusdi sir
"Yes sir. But the same mother can't. Though I also want to connect with men to a more serious level sir." Answer Tini who pity his listeners.
Tini just nodded. There is hope for Surabaya, his mind. Tini's view shifted to Siti.
"Sir, that's your face like it's my cream." Tanya Tini looked at Siti's face.
"Yes tin. Thank goodness."
"Good then. Later on my girlfriend here mbak no need to show themselves yes. As long as the physical form of mbak is still gini-gini aja, I don't want mas Haris to know that I have a buluk mbak." He said and left the dining table.
Mr. Rusdi immediately stared intently at Tini who walked towards his room, with a thousand steps and showed an emotional face Mr. Rusdi followed Tini and called out to him.
Plaques
Everyone was shocked and approached the father and son who were now looking at each other in anger. Tini's cheeks slightly flushed due to a slap from Mr. Rusdi. The man was really emotional, he had been trying to advise Tini in a subtle and good way but it did not seem to work for Tini.
"Mother slapped me for taking him away." Tini asked in tears as she pointed at Siti who was standing next to her father. "What I said is true, right? He is a buluk. I'm talking about facts, sir." Tini shouted
Mr. Rusdi's hand had been raised again but quickly Siti prevented it.
"Already sir. Don't be this emotional. My own father said that we do not need to reply to their words. It's okay." Siti's words calm Mr. Rusdi who looks like a fidelity
Lastri's mother just dragged Tini into her room before she received a second slap.
"Father rest. I'm tired of it." Siti Suggestion
Mr. Rusdi nodded and walked towards his room. There was a face of regret there, however Tini jiga his son, after raising his hand must be terbesit regret that was as tight as his chest.
Tini also entered the room after cleaning the dining table and also washing dishes. He looked at his face in the mirror with little change. Smile on his lips.
Every change, whether big or small, requires a process, whether it is a long or fast process. But certainly Siti will enjoy every process of change herself. He is not too rushed to change instantly, the most important thing is that there is a change in him. Slowly but surely, Siti will try her best to change herself.
In her room, Tini calls Haris to be willing to come tomorrow after work. He explained to Haris that he would be allowed to leave if Haris himself asked his mother's permission.
"Sir, don't use violence if you tell the child." Said Mrs Lastri who just entered the room
"Over this time we tell you to use talk, but it does not work as well. If not, she will not lose, ma'am. You think Dad wants this? No ma'am, I also felt sorry after raising my hands for the first time for the child. I'm tired of telling my mom's son." Said Mr. Rusdi laying her body on the bed and closing her eyes.
Miss Lastri just breathed a heavy breath and followed her husband to sleep.
