The Right Choice

Don't hope!

Upon arrival at the office, Fabian sped up his pace and ignored the employees who greeted him. His heart was beating faster than usual, panic and fear were growing in his heart as his pace got closer to the room he was working in. Fabian panicked how he would face Micah and Fabian was afraid what if Micah was not in place.

"Mi- ..," he said stopped when he saw Micah's desk was still empty.

Fabian stared riveted, his forehead began to sweat his mind far away wandering to think of where Micah had gone.

Fabian sat in Micah's chair and reached into the phone in his pocket, he tried to contact Micah but the result was still nothing but the voice of the operator.

"Mikha, where are you?" he looked at the photo of Micah stored on his desk.

Tap ... tap .

The sound of high heels approached and sounded increasingly clear in Fabian's ears, his eyes immediately sparkling there was a hint of relief in his heart.

"At last you came also Micah" he said, glancing at the sound of the footsteps.

"Mama-"

"Hi ...,"

"Mama tumben here?" asked Fabian in a bit of shock.

"Why? Shocked huh?"

"I-iya Ma," replied Fabian a little stuttering.

"Mikha where?" ask mama Rena with sparkling eyes.

"He ain't no Ma,"

"Tida exists? Mean you?"

"I don't know where Micah Ma is," Fabian replied instantly making Mama Rena's eyes glare with a look of anger.

"Don't know what you said?" ask her in an intimidating tone.

"Yes Ma, last night I went to Alena's house and when I came home in the morning Micah was gone" replied Fabian as she was unwilling to cover it up because her mother had to know her relationship with Alena.

"You're coming to that woman again?"

"She's Alena Ma,"

"And you left your wife alone at home?" tanyanya shouted furiously.

"Mikha knows how Ma is, I went to Alena's house" she replied honestly.

"But now you don't know, where did Micah go?" he asked cynically and Fabian shook his head.

"Don't you even know why he left?" he gets angry and Fabian shakes his head again, because Fabian feels his marriage to Micah is only temporary and Micah knows his relationship with Alena so it's his business to go see Alena, isn't it something he used to do. (It was Fabian's sometimes foolish thoughts that penetrated into the sky)

"STUPID!"

"Are you not cowardly enough for Micah? Do you not realize that you have broken your promise before God? Don't you want to hold your marriage accountable?"

"Ma, before that I already had a promise with Alena," replied Fabian mutely with a hearty look.

"Is that important to you?" ask him with a cruel look.

"I'm important Ma, I love him,"

"So you've been with Micah pretending?"

"We both agreed Ma,"

"You forced her?"

"No, Ma,"

"Now what do you want?"

"I want to, Mama bless my relationship with Alena" Fabian said.

"No way!"

"Why Ma?"

"Because you are married to Micah" he replied without looking at Fabian.

"We had a deal after the business was done, we were going to get a divorce" Fabian's answer made Mama Rena's heart beat so fast there was anger and resentment in her heart that she was holding.

Fabian deliberately dismantled everything because he was actually tired of what he was going through, he was so tormented and confused by his feelings he had now.

Fabian hopes that after he reveals his honesty, he will soon find a solution because what has been his biggest fear is the reaction of his mother. Whatever the risk is, he's ready to take it.

"Divorce?" tanyanya.

"Yes, Ma" replied Fabian lowered his head.

"Well," said Mama Rena made Fabian shocked, because it was so easy that his mother agreed.

"Mama easily agree?"

"Yes,"

"Why Ma?"

"Is this what you want?"

"It's not just Ma,"

"If you ask Mama to approve your relationship with that woman, don't expect it! Even to death Mama won't approve,"
