Previously on the Return of the Princess
Yueji who was lying on his bed made everyone anxious, not least Yingjun who came specifically to his father's house to discuss the matter that befell Yueji. As is

“Mother!” yingjun shouted after the mother and fell unconscious. Tao Yangli immediately saved him and told the guards to arrest Qingwei. Since then the relationship between father and son is not good. Yingjun only remembered what the mother had said to him while Yangli only kept silent when asked about
his reason for betraying Qingwei in the past.
