Chapter 4 Bandits and Shield

A week passed after the storm hit the village of Alba. The village is back as usual. So does the small family of Acie who live in peace and happiness. Acie's daily life only helps her two brothers or her father.

Don't forget that they're not Acie's siblings or biological father. However, it was that bond that had instilled such a strong affection and love in Acie's heart.

Acie grew up to be a brave girl thanks to a father figure who had nurtured her with such great love and affection. The affection of all the villagers who had considered Acie like their own family also became a great force for themselves. There was not a single resident in Alba Village who mocked or scoffed at Acie's physical shortcomings. Even they don't bother about it at all. Acie lives in an amazing village, all the residents of Alba Village are like family to Acie.

As per the schedule that has been sorted by Acie's older sister Ciero, today it is Acie's duty to distribute milk to the villagers. A large box of goat milk that had been cooked and put in medium glass bottles, was brought by Acie to the villagers.

“Remember! The milk should be divided all, lest anyone stay, understand!” said Ciero who was putting a scarf on Acie's neck seriously.

“Good, ready Mistress!” sahut Acie with his spirit.

One by one the bottles of milk in the big box were reduced. Acie carefully distributed the milk to the villagers. For Acie, the intricacies of Alba Village were already fully recorded in his memory. He can distinguish the location of houses and the distance between the houses of the villagers. With agile Acie ran slowly delivering her milk one by one. The residents of Alba Village are no longer surprised by the behavior of Acie which they think is very unlikely to be done by humans in general.

“Mrs! It's milk for you today.” Said Acie to one of the villagers who happened to walk in front of him.

“Thank you, son. You look excited today,” said the villager with a smile.

“Hehe... Thank you back!” acie exclaimed as he walked backwards and waved his hand at the villagers.

Only three bottles of milk were left in the large box that was hugged by Acie. She had already distributed all her milk to the villagers, but there were still three left. If she did not share her milk until it ran out, Ciero would scold her.

“I can't go home if the milk hasn't run out. Though my stomach has asked for ration.” Grumpily Acie while stroking his queen's stomach slowly.

With a slow step, Acie returned to the village in the hope that someone had not gotten her milk. Acie's steps came to a halt as his sense of hearing caught a sound from the direction of the Alba Village gate that was about eight meters away from him. Acie refocused his audience. A scream from a man running towards Alba Village was hastily recorded in Acie's memory. Acie immediately ran towards the main gate of Alba Village. As Acie alleged, a man was running hastily towards the village.The villagers who were in charge of guarding the village security post immediately met the man, similarly, Acie quickly ran towards the village gate. It was seen the man gasping for breath while showing his hand towards the mountain.

“What's up?! What the hell's going on? Why are you getting hurt like this?!” ask one of the villagers who served at the security post.

The man was speechless, his face battered like he had been beaten by someone so badly. The sound is again caught by the Acie sense of hearing. Now the voice was clearly heard, a sound of horse racing towards Alba Village.

“Master! Close the gate!” Tell Acie with a serious face.

“What's up? Why should we close the gate?” ask the people on duty.

“About twenty minutes away, there were about twenty people riding a middle horse heading to this village. I don't think it's our villagers. They also carry weapons.” It was clearly Acie who made the villagers who heard it a little incredulous.

However, to be careful, they decided to listen to Acie's advice. Soon they closed the village gates.

As predicted from Acie twenty minutes later, a group of people rode to the village of Alba. The villagers began to panic with the arrival of the gunmen. The villagers were directed to their homes.

“Hei Kids! Go home, here dangerous.” Tell one of the villagers to Acie who is still strong where he stands.

when he was about to move his legs, an arrow shot up a villager to injure him. Acie was so jolted that he couldn't step.

“What do they do?!” acie exclaimed with a surprised face.

Inner Acie seemed to frown feeling the threat of danger that was waiting for Alba Village and its citizens.

“Someone! Call Mr Dalmar here!” a man panicked.

It is true, Mr. Dalmar is the village head of Alba Village, besides being trained in martial arts and hunting, Mr. Dalmar is also very capable in solving the problems of the residents of Alba Village. His fair and thoughtful attitude was enough to make him admired by all villagers.

A moment later there was a loud bang coming from the direction of the village gate.

The villagers looked more panicked. “What should we do?!” said one of the residents worriedly.

Ciero and Caezar were running towards the villagers who were gathered in front of the village gate.

“Where is Mr Dalmar?” ask one of the residents.

“Daddy is hunting in the forest, he has been blessed since dawn and until now has not returned.” Ciero to the villagers.

The situation further caused panic among the villagers. The bandits unceasingly smashed the village gate with something big.

“What should we do now? Do we just open the gate?” said one of the villagers.

“Are you crazy! They're gonna kill us all!” tell other people with concern. There was nothing to do but face those bandits.

“I'll meet them.” Acie said suddenly.

The villagers were shocked to hear ucpan Acie just now.

“What? Don't fuck Acie! Do not dare to take a single step from it.” Ciero threatened.

“Kakak. They will destroy this village.” Obviously Acie to Ciero who looks still not accept with the advice of his sister.

“You need not worry, the villagers will solve this problem.” Ciero's disconnection still could not silence his sister's intentions.

“I am also a citizen of this village, I grew up here! I cannot leave this village in danger! “ clear Acie full confidence.

“But Acie__” Ciero's words were silenced by Caezar who suddenly grabbed his shoulder.

“Why even a little boy came here! Are your villagers all cowards?! Huh?!” exclaimed one of the bandits holding a large sword in his left hand.

“I'm not a child! And what are you going to our village for?!” acie said in a firm voice.

“Oooo...! view ...! Your legs are shaking, son! You better go home and get your dad here!!!” said the bandit who wears a cover on his right eye.

“My father does not exist. If you guys want to say something, just tell me!” sahut Acie firmly.

“You're really stubborn huh! Oi! little girl, if you still love your life, turn around and go home! Don't forget to immediately hide under your bed!!” exclaimed the bandit who closed one eye, ending with a haughty laugh from him.

“ACIE!” caezar exclaimed suddenly out from the direction of the gate.

“Kakak?! What are you doing here?” acie asked with a surprised face.

“Bigger! You guys underestimated us?! The blood of weak humans like you guys is inappropriate to wet our swords!!!” exclaimed a bandit who wore a black robe of skin and hair tied at the top of his head to look like a fountain. The bandit's face was covered in scars.

“Are you their leader?” caezar asked the bandit.

“I'm King! not the leader!” sahut the bandit boss was full of anger.

“Whatever you say, you better leave this place soon!” exclaim Caezar firmly.

The bandit boss was even more visibly angry at Caezar's words which he said were demeaning to them.

“Bigger! Kill them!!!” exclaimed the bandit boss resolutely.

Soon the other bandits got off their horses.

“Acie! Stand behind Brother!” Tell Caezar that Acie doesn't push at all.

Acie's face looked enthusiastic, he seemed to want that to happen.

“Sister, don't forget that I'm Mr. Dalmar's student. I'll show you my hard work all this time.” Acie said with a burning spirit like fire.

Caezar could only sigh. If his brother was already attached, then no one would be able to stop him.

“HYAAAAAK....!!!!!” there were loud screams of the bandits who started attacking Acie and Caezar.

The sound of the bandits echoed to the point that Ciero standing behind the gate paled withstanding his anxiety. Not a single attack by the bandits could be seen hitting Acie and Caezar. Agilely Acie fended off the attacks of the bandits.

By relying solely on his inner senses and the senses of his listeners, Acie could withstand all the attacks coming at him as well as predict his opponent's movements. One by one the bandits fell to the ground, not looking tired from Acie's face, he looked very enthusiastic about the fight.

“Stay focus Acie! Don't be rash! They're armed!” exclaim Caezar who is one meter from Acie.

Acie took the advice from her brother, she could not attack them rashly. They could have hurt him. Acie looked exhausted, as if the bandits had nine lives, they did not look in pain at all. Acie had attacked them seriously.

“AKH!” caezar groaned as his hand hit the sword slash.

Acie gasped when she heard her brother's scream. Caezar is seen injured in the arm of his right because of slashed by the sword of the bandit who attacked him.

“Kakak!!” exciting Acie.

Acie immediately ran towards Caezar who looked to be in pain. However, Acie's steps came to a halt as the bandit boss stood right before him.

“Have you given up? Prostrate to me, and I will release your brother. You don't want to see him turn off?” Said the bandit boss who made Acie stay on the spot.

“No Acie! Brother is fine! Don't do that low thing!” exclaim Caezar.

Acie's heart seemed to heat up when he heard the sound of his brother's screams being beaten by the bandits.

“Better you just give up little girl, your body is already shaking.” Said the bandit boss with a haughty grin on his face.

“Let him go,” murmured Acie who lowered her head.

“What? You said something little girl?” asked the bandit boss with a mocking face.

“LEAVE HIM!!!” emanating a burning light within Acie's eyeballs, the glare of her eyes made the man standing before her grimace in fear.

The man's body seemed to be trembling, he could not control his body. The body of the bandit boss seemed to weaken in front of Acie.

“K-to-why d-with tu-my body... a-I don't b-can move!” exclaimed the bandit boss with a faltering voice.

A bright light emanated from Acie's body. All the bandits who saw the bright light were unable to move their legs at all. They seem to be attracted so strongly towards that light. Their bodies seemed to be weakening, unconsciously they fell to the ground.

“A-what is it?! Why did he emit such light? My body can't move!” the bandit wearing the blindfold.

“S-who is he exactly?!” the bandits are back.

“If you still want to feel the air on this earth, then bow all of you to a holy and great soul.” A huge white wolf came out from that light.

Everyone was silenced when they saw the huge white wolf standing right before them. No one could say anything they could only be dumbstruck by the sight before them.

“If you still want to feel peaceful life in this world, then submit before the ruler.” The white wolf called Luna.

The light disappeared without leaving a trace. Acie regained consciousness from her daydream.

“A-pa happened?” acie was confused.

“I forgive my Lord's servant! Forgive me the life of the servant!” exclaimed the bandit boss who made Acie astonished.

“Hamba promises to always be faithful and follow the steps of my Lord. Accept our faithful pledge, my lord!” exclaim the bandit boss back.

Acie increasingly looks confused by the situation that is happening.

Why can they pledge such loyalty? So thought Acie who scratched the nape of his neck that did not itch.

“Ba-fine! But you have to promise me that you will not attack our village.” Say Acie carefully.

“We promise with our lives Milord!” the bandits said in unison.

“Ta-but, why do you call me that?” ask Acie who still looks confused.

“My lord, from this moment on we are all your subordinates, we have pledged allegiance to you.” Clearly the bandit boss was with sparkling eyes.

As if the contents of the robbers' heads had been washed, they suddenly felt they had to follow the little girl in front of them if they did not want their lives to be lost.

“Hah?!! K... What are you guys doing?” dumbstruck.

Acie looked at Caezar who looked dumbfounded on the spot.

“K-sister..? brother okay?” acie asked her sister who showed an unusual face.

The day that was so full of spirit and shock that befell Alba Village when suddenly the bandits who wanted to attack them bowed before the entire village. They also do not apologize for what they have done. Acie could only scratch the nape of his neck that was not itchy. Now the tough girl Acie with her light shield, has been able to make a group of mountain bandits known sadistic and merciless bow and pledge allegiance to him. Will Acie make the world bow to him?
