Blooming Flower (Thirty Six)

            "Aiden."

            The voice echoed within the darkness of the night with a heartbreaking tone. While the man who was called out seemed to not respond and kept his eyes closed with blood pouring from his left chest.

            "Aiden, don't go." sobs Calistha next to him while gently shaking the man's body. Aiden then opened his eyes slowly while bitterly smiling at Calistha.

            "I have to go, I'm sorry Cals, I'm sorry."

            The voice suddenly weakened along with Aiden's gaze which also dimmed and finally the man closed his eyes tightly.

            "No!! Aiden.... Aiden.... Aiden!!!" Calistha cried sobbing next to Aiden's lifeless stiff body. The woman continued to weep wailing without regard for the grieving look of the people around her and also the gentle touch on her shoulders that was getting longer - getting tighter.

            "Calistha, wakey. Hey, Calistha."

            "Aidenne!! Hoshh hosh hosh.."

            Cold sweat poured out profusely from Calistha temple along with its increasingly hunting breath. The woman looked down deeply as she swept her hands towards her eyes that had been flooded by tears. What a horrible dream!

            "What's wrong? You kept calling my name while crying in your sleep. Are you all right?"

            "Aiden."

               Suddenly Calistha hugged the sturdy body was strong with a hug that was so tight that it felt Aiden had a little trouble breathing because Calistha directly hit him hard. What the hell is going on with you?

            Tonight Calistha is having a nightmare. Ever since her leg was injured and the woman slept in her room, Calistha had nightmares several times and made her have to calm the woman down at night. But all this time the woman did not want to confess what had actually happened in her dream. The woman always hid everything from her and considered all of it just sleeping flowers. But he felt that the dream was really strange and Calistha should have told him all her dreams. Because maybe it's not just a dream, but a vision in the future.

            "Do you want a drink?" aiden asked gently while stroking Calistha's brown mane quietly. The woman nodded her head small. Slowly, Aiden tried to release his embrace from Calistha's body and immediately went down from his bed to get a glass of water on the table next to his bed.

            "Aiden, I'm scared." Suddenly Calistha exclaimed softly with a blank look. Aiden who heard Calistha muttering softly immediately turned to the woman with a questioning look that did not understand.

            "What are you afraid of, I'm here with you" said Aiden trying to cheer. But immediately Calistha actually returned to crying while bowing her head on a pillow. He was crying and looked really scared.

            "Hey hey hey, what's up? Why are you crying? Did I hurt you?" ask Aiden to try to calm down. The man looked a little confused next to Calistha and was only able to stroke Calistha's brownish mane a few times to make the woman calmer. Even though they were getting closer to each other, in fact it could not make him understand the woman better. Aiden always felt awkward and confused when Calistha began to be flooded with an outburst of emotions like this. The stiffness and freezing of his heart made it difficult for him to adjust to Calistha. A woman like Calistha is a very warm gentle creature, whereas she is an evil monster who always lives in eternal frost and never feels the slightest warmth, except for the warmth Calistha has been emitting these past few months. But lately that warmth is a little lost from Calistha because the woman more often daydreams alone in her room while thinking about something she herself does not know.             Again Calistha muttered softly with a face that had been flooded by tears. Aiden let out a slow sigh and began to carry Calistha into his arms. He didn't know if it would help or not, but his instinct as a man told him to do just that. He had to hug Calistha tightly to calm the woman from whatever was currently troubling her mind.

            "Aiden, are you dreaming the same thing as me, or are you seeing the same thing I've been dreaming about these past few days?" calistha asked in a raucous voice. Aiden frowned faintly as he thought of Calistha's words. Lately he has no vision whatsoever, the last he sees is Tiffany and Gazelle who are plotting an evil plan for Calistha, the rest he sees nothing. All of a sudden, all of his vision and sharpness were getting weaker by the day. He was used to all these strange things.

            "I didn't see anything. Maybe all you dream about is sleeping flowers. So don't think too much about it." said Aiden calming. Calistha nodded her head in agreement and after that they were both equally silent with their respective thoughts.

            "Aiden, I want to go back to my room. I'm tired of being here. Maybe those dreams came because I was too saturated to be here. I want to take a walk out." said Calistha suddenly. Aiden seemed to tighten his jaw to find a logical reason for Calistha. But in the end Aiden gave up and chose to tell Calistha everything. It is better to tell the truth though it hurts than to lie but to plunge.

            "You can't go back to your room if Tiffany's still in this palace" Aiden said coldly. Calistha frowned in surprise at Aiden's reply and looked up to Aiden for an explanation.

            "Your sister is an evil woman. Tiffany's not the kind of woman you've seen all along. The spikes that hurt your feet a week ago are his doing. He wants to hurt you because he wants to take revenge on me."

                "You're not cheating on me because you don't like Tiffany, are you?" ask Calistha full of probes. Feeling offended by Calistha's words, Aiden immediately released his arms from Calistha and slightly shifted Calistha's body away from her. He did not like Calistha's reaction to accusing him of lying. Although he is cruel and cold-hearted, but he highly upholds honesty.

                "You think I'm lying? Besides, what's my advantage in lying to you, all this I'm doing is just to protect you from those evil bastards so they don't hurt you. This is all for you, Cals!" hiss Aiden with emphasis on every sentence. Feeling that she had made a mistake, Calistha began trying to restore Aiden's bad mood by apologizing and clasping the man's hand tightly. But Aiden was already angry and Calistha could not restore the man's mood easily.

            "I'm sorry, I don't mean to accuse you of lying. But Tiffany is my brother, she is my sister. Please Aiden, I don't want us to fight anymore just because of a small matter like this."

              "It's not a small matter Cals, it's a big deal. That demonic woman is currently trying to harm you and kill you. Do you think I'd be this strong if that woman wasn't bothering what's mine. He wants to separate you from me!" aiden snapped loudly full of emotion. Calistha as much as possible remained calm and unmoved, even though she herself felt unacceptable to Aiden's unproven accusation. She was sure Tiffany wouldn't do that to her anyway. This was all because Aiden was so scared of losing himself to the nail incident yesterday.

            "All right, I'm sorry. I will not dispute your will. But please allow me to take a walk out the next morning. The wound on my leg had also recovered, my leg was not as painful as it used to be. Please."

            Aiden looked at Calistha at a glance. He could not decide to grant Calistha's request now that he did not know whether letting Calistha roam outside the palace would be safe for the woman. But he also could not continuously lock Calistha inside this room. However Calistha had to stay out because she was the future queen. Then what should he do?

                Aiden still seemed to be thinking of letting Calistha out of her room or not. But in the end Aiden nodded his head with a heavy heart as Calistha continued to plead before him with a pitiful look that he deeply disliked.

                "You can take a walk out with Sunny and Yuri, but remember, don't get too close to Tiffany because that woman can harm you at any time." admonish Aiden with an earnest face. Calistha seemed to be cheering cheerfully in front of Aiden while hugging the man tightly until they both fell on Aiden's comfortable bed.

            "Thank you, you're a good king." praise Calistha glad. But Aiden responded with a snort because he knew, Calistha praised him solely because he allowed the woman to go out of her room. If he doesn't allow it like two days ago, then he certainly won't

get a compliment like that, but the anger is so overflowing with tears that are too excessive. Fucking women!

            "Great King Aiden, why don't you seem unhappy, hmm?" god Calistha jahil. Calistha habit when Aiden has started to get upset with him, then he will tease the man all out until the man is caught off guard and finally chooses to succumb to his high ego.

            "Don't tease me, Cals. I don't like it." Aiden was getting upset. But Calistha put on an incomprehensible face while wrinkling her forehead in wonder.

            "Tempting? I'm not flirting with you, Your Majesty. If I tease you, then I'll do this."

                Suddenly Calistha kissed Aiden's lips lightly while giggling amusedly in front of Aiden. I don't know what that woman is thinking right now. But his unusual demeanor managed to make Aiden's forehead frown in astonishment. What else is wrong with him?

            "What's wrong with you, Cals?"

            "I just wanted to kiss you, a little bit. Can't that be?" Calistha asked with pursed lips. Of course it can. But the woman's unusual attitude managed to intrude her mind and make her think all kinds of things about the woman. Because it's not usual for Calistha to be aggressive like this. In fact Calistha tends to be passive and just accepts all her touches with a blushing face, out of embarrassment.

            "You look weird" said Aiden honestly with a flat face. Aiden's expression of face that was very incompatible with expectations made Calistha again scowl and wanted to immediately rise from the top of Aiden's body, but was immediately held back by the man with a close embrace of his hand.

            "I haven't allowed you to go queen."

            "Don't you say I'm a freak, you better let go of me king." Calistha replied fiercely. Seeing Calistha's very striking mood change made Aiden re-narrate his forehead in wonder. One more thing he learned from a creature named woman, they were so inconsistent!

            This time Aiden begins to unleash his sensual temptations on Calistha. The man began to kiss Calistha's jaw with laughable little kisses.

                Without waiting for Calistha to finish her words, Aiden instantly silenced the red lips with her thin lips until the woman instantly fell silent and replied to her every drunken laze.             "Of course, I learned a lot from you, Your Majesty is a pervert." Reply sensual Calistha. Tonight Calistha looks completely different and more aggressive. It starts with a short kiss from the woman, and now Calistha is getting brave enough to tease her and make Aiden even more tormented with each touch.

            "Cabul? I miss that call. Are you sulking at me? Tonight you look more aggressive, Calistha."

            Calistha shook her head small while rolling one of her mischievous eyes. Out of nowhere the woman learned to tease Aiden like this, which Aiden must have been quite surprised by today's change in Calistha's attitude, as well as he enjoyed it.

                "Sure, my queen. Touch me wherever you like."

Even Yuri and Sunny had been astonished by her unstable-looking mood changes. Several times they were subjected to his annoyance and had to be extra patient to face his demeanor that looked like a kasmaran girl. And unfortunately today Aiden came home a little late until he was upset and finally he decided to sleep first before Aiden came home. Thinking too much about Aiden and wanting to meet the man, she has nightmares and cries hysterically in her dreams. But fortunately when he woke up, Aiden was already by his side to calm him down. Unimaginable how his fate was if Aiden was not beside him, maybe he would continue to roar himself in the dark room while berating Aiden because the man was not there
