Chapter 9 The School

"Then sit down first. Let's make some warm drinking water!"

Jonathan led Miranda to a chair not far from where she was cooking, then mixed the hot water that had just been cooked with cold water so that it could be directly drunk by Miranda.

"Drink, Om will finish cooking for a little while!"

Miranda watched Jonathan who was again busy struggling in the kitchen. There are many things that He has to do before Grandma Bara comes home later in the afternoon while she has to go to work.

Soon Jonathan came out of the bathroom and saw that his clothes were already on the bed. Miranda was busy combing her long hair in front of the mirror.

Not wanting to comment much, Jonathan just put on the clothes because he wanted to honor Miranda. But still for him Miranda could not possibly occupy a special position like Melinda. He married her because of Bara's stupidity so he had to swallow the disappointment by replacing the position of his son.

After it was over Jonathan didn't even have breakfast because Miranda was ready to wait for him. So the day is near noon, forcing Jonathan to rush Miranda to school.

Arriving by the side of the road near the school, Miranda kisses Jonathan's hand for a goodbye but before that Jonathan grabs his wallet and gives Miranda some red money.

"Take it, because this is already an obligation Om. Can you use that money to buy anything you want?" Jonathan answered with a face that was always flat when he looked at Miranda.

Miranda who did not have a handle at all chose to accept it. No matter what Jonathan thinks of him. For sure Miranda does need it for her school fee which is still waiting two months.

"Thank you Om, I'm sorry that Miranda was always such a hassle!"

"Stop talking like that Mir, you are my responsibility, oya later in the day Om will pick you up, so just wait until Om comes," jonathan replied firmly emphasizing the sentence spoken so that Miranda would understand.

Miranda did not say much anymore and immediately said goodbye, "Yes, thank you, then I go in first, be careful on the road!"

Miranda restyled her uniform and sling bag for a moment then passed out. Jonathan saw Miranda welcomed by two friends his age very well. It made Jonathan's heart feel very sad.

Gosh gosh? Is it true that I did this? I could have married a young woman like her. Surely Miranda still wants to pursue her dreams by hanging out with them, but Bara has ruined everything...

Honestly, Jonathan is ashamed of what he's doing. True said Miss Lilis, Miranda deserves more to be his daughter than his wife. But how else. The situation has trapped Jonathan who is unable to avoid his marriage with Miranda.
