The Prisoner's Wife Mr. Arogan

The Prisoner's Wife Mr. Arogan
Chapter 33: The Bitter Reality

It was different with Laura who had arrived in another country. Michael shuts down all of his father's access, after saving him with Nathan. The two brothers then covered up the case by choosing to tell the public and family if an Argon Wilson had been killed in the fire.

This decision was not taken unilaterally, but because Nathan saw for himself what happened to his father and told his brother about it.

"How's it?" michael asked a forensic expert.

"It's possible that the body wasn't your wife. Based on the results of the autopsy, the woman had died before. It means he's burning in a lifeless condition."

The man's report made Michael squeeze the received paper. This time he felt too careless. Not expecting that the rescue girl who was once a gentle figure is now cruel enough to not hesitate to plan the burning so epic as if all was an accident.

Michael stared at the room where his father was being treated. The man is still alive, but has not regained consciousness due to a severe condition. "What happened between you?" inner Michael.

Only Nathan and Michael know the father's current condition. However, for now his sister is returning with a urn of fake ashes as proof that their father has been cremated.

Shortly after, someone approached Michael again. "Master."

"Where is he?"

"The House of James Whale."

"What?" A bright red hue was plastered clearly on Michael's face. One fatal mistake he made for trusting Laura turned out to be on James' side. Then it is likely that the girl also attacked him a few weeks ago. "How dare he!" furious Michael punched the innocent wall next to him.

"What should we do, Master?"

"We're leaving today too."

On the other hand, Laura who was stunned by reality just chose silence and returned to her room. The figure that he initially thought of as a savior in fact only used himself for their benefit.

"Michael must know the girl is here right now. We can make him bait to finish off the guy. Prepare everything from now on, the angry Michael must be hunting Laura. We can take advantage of both's hatred." A last sentence that Laura heard from James' mouth made the girl feel a little riled up.

Laura stared into the distance, she could not act rashly and ended up being profitable for them instead. The clap on his shoulder made him momentarily stunned. "What are you thinking?" ask Catherine.

For a moment Laura was silent, there was really not a single person she could trust at this moment. However, he quickly smiled as if he knew nothing. "It's okay. I just miss my mom. I'll go first."

"Be careful."

Laura hurried to the tomb. The place where the mother is buried. James' words always flashed in his mind right then and there. Confusion struck his heart and mind digesting every sentence. "If Argon Wilson is my father and they use me for revenge. Doesn't mean that from the beginning they knew who I was and who my mother was" Laura said.

"Damn! Damnit damnit! Shit!" Irritatedly the girl hit the car driver. This time he felt very played. It turned out that the kindness he received was just a charade.

Laura pulled over and stopped the vehicle. The girl put her hands on the steering wheel and lowered her head. The pain of betrayal of trust broke his heart. The people he had regarded as family were nothing more than liars.

He sniffled alone. Laura's body trembled moving up and down along with the chaotic thoughts. However, a moment later he realized not only was he crying and lamenting his stupidity. "If Argon Wilson was my father. What does Michael mean my brother? But why did you ask me not to approach the family?"

Not wanting to get late, Laura drove back to a funeral. He was silent on the mound bearing the name of his mother for a long time.

"Mother, is he really my father? Are you mad that I sent it to you? But why are his men hunting us? Mom, what exactly happened all this time?" Laura asked in her heart. Not a word came out of his mouth. "Mother, if I've made a mistake. Please take me to the path I should."
