The Port of Hearts of the Duda
Escape From Home

"I don't want Ma, Pa" said the beautiful woman in a loud voice.

This morning he was so shocked when he heard the words of his parents who wanted to match him. He is 24 years old and still young.

"Mama is afraid that you will become an old virgin dear, besides what you want to pursue, you have become a successful career woman" said Syerli softly.

Dara hissing "I am not chasing anything Ma, only I do not want to be in a match. Now is no longer the era of siti nurbaya is already modern Ma. And anyway I can find my own husband figure that fits me" he replied later.

Sherli looked at her husband, she knew very well the nature of her daughter. Stubborn and a little rebellious.

"Papa's decision is unanimous, anyway the night of Sunday tomorrow you are engaged" the voice of barinton the Papa made Dara upset.

Dara then stood up from the sofa and left his parents to the room, for him useless continue to argue because he will still lose to the Papa.

"Pa, if Dara refuses not to be forced" Syerli told her husband.

"Then until when we're going to hold Ma's grandson, we're old. And only Dara is our hope" Mario replied in a frustrated tone.

Not because Dara was an only child. Sherli and Mario have two children, Tama and Dara. It's just that Tama lives abroad and visits uncertain even not infrequently his eldest son visited once every 3 years.

Tama's job is what makes her unable to go home. Moreover, his children have all been in school.

"Our grandson is 2 Pa, Tama's children don't forget Papa"

"Yes Papa knows, but can you see if they're here ? no, I"

Sherli looked down, she knew her husband's feelings. Even though he already has two grandchildren his life feels lonely.

"Try Mama to talk to Dara again".

"Anything is the reason for Daraa. Papa's gonna stick with Rendi"

"Yes Pa. Mama understands"

In Dara's room frustrated he did not want to be paired especially with Rendi. Because Dara's been trying to figure out who Rendi is.

"I don't want to be in a match, this Papa is just using any matchmaking event." - gritted annoyed.

"I'd better run away until Papa stops wanting to get me"

With a quick step Dara left her room. He went down one by one stairs. He saw it in the living room his parents were no longer there to make Vania free to run away as he wanted.

"Faith" he murmured slowly.

Without carrying any of her belongings, Dara immediately left the house. Even his luxury car he just bought a week ago he left.  Dara accidentally did not bring her things because she wanted to live a simple life. If he brought the automatic car, Papa would very easily find it.

As Dara wished, not far from his house he had found a taxi. Dara quickly waved her hand and made the taxi stop.

"Where'd Neng go ?" ask the taxi driver.

"Jalan aja sir, later I said if you want to go down" replied Dara.

The driver nodded, then ran the car at moderate speed.

Dara was silent she stared out the window. "I'm sorry Ma I chose this path, I don't want to be married and I'll prove to Mama that I can get the right man to be my priest"

"This is where Neng is going, we have a long way to go" said the driver woke Dara from his daydream.

"Yes, it has stopped here, sir" said Dara

The car stopped on the side of the road. Dara got off soon after paying the taxi fare. Only the case money that Dara brought while her atm card in all, even her phone Dara left so that the Papa could not track her whereabouts.

Near where Dara stands there is a rice stall, Dara walking there just to shelter. He was still confused about where he was going because there was no purpose.

"Yes" The woman answered kindly.

Dara sat on one of the plastic chairs, the sunlight started to sting.

"Grandma" shouted one of the girls who opened the car glass slightly.

"Yes for a moment, it's just about done" Ningrum replied

Who would have thought that the Grandchild came out of the car and approached Ningrum. - The ones who saw it felt anxious, he really liked children.

"Hey pretty, what's her name ?" ask Dara gently.

"Neysa" the girl replied timidly.

"Well her name is very beautiful, just like the person" Dara praised.

Neysa was still shy about making Ningrum smile, she then sat down near Dara

"Where are you from ?" ask Ningrum to Dara

"S-I am from Bu village" replied Dara directly although a little nervous.

Oh" Ningrum nodded "To Jakarta what do you want ? work ?"

"Yes ma'am wants to go to work, but can't... Hmmm if you need employees, I'm ready to work whatever I want"

Ningrum looked at Dara's appearance from top to bottom, he was a little incredulous that Dara came from the village let alone the clothes Dara wore almost all branded goods, he said, Ningrum could understand all that because he had a boutique.

"Is he really from the village, why I feel not yes, because the clothes he wears are all expensive. Moreover, the bag that he brought was very expensive" Inner Resti.

"What's wrong Mom ? how do you stare at my bag like that ?" asked Dara who was a little uncomfortable with Ningrum's gaze

"Oh Sorry-sorry, I don't mean you're uncomfortable. It's just that I'm surprised because the bag you use is very expensive"

"Is it really ? I myself do not know Mom, this bag in love with you when I want to migrate to Jakarta" explained Dara lying. He regretted his decision to bring the bag.

"Oh maybe it's KW huh" Ningrum also chuckled "Soal if the original one can cost tens of millions"

"Yes maybe KW ma'am, if the price is expensive where there is money ma'am, just eat hard"

"If you want, I have a job" Ningrum said making Dara smile happily.

"So ma'am, what kind of work is ma'am ?"

"So baby sister to take care of my granddaughter,. Her mother is dead"

Dara looked at Neysa who had been looking at her shyly, she felt sorry because the little boy had lost his affection. Dara immediately remembered Syerli

"May you be well" he prayed in his heart.

"I want Ma'am, whatever job I want"

"But I want to talk first to my children, their father. Where's your phone number later if your mother's son agrees I call you"

"I don't have a cell phone" Mom"

"How do you tell me ?"

"Just this ma'am, if the mother's child agrees tomorrow we meet here again"

"Oh so, well tomorrow we meet"
