The Phantom Child's

The Phantom Child's
Human Skeleton

Geck.. Geck.. Geck..

Someone knocked on the door from outside the room, while Zylvechia was indifferent, she herself was standing in front of the window and staring at the moon. His pale face looked cold under the moonlight. Her long, unraveling hair was waving in the wind. There was still blood on the corner of his lips, the other side of his cheek was still turning blue, somehow as hard as Zico slapped him until his tracks were imprinted on Zylvechia's pretty face.

"Zylve, I'm in.."

Zico's voice sounded soft.

"Zylve?"

Zico called out the name of his twin brother many times, but it turned out that there was only an empty room. There's no Zylvechia in it.

As Zico wonders where Zylvechia has gone, Aillard comes and tells Zico to hurry, while Zico himself is anxious about Zylvechia.

"Zico you're done?" ask Aillard.

"It's so dark!!" audric complained as soon as he reached Zylvechia's room.

"Zylve's not here!" said Zico.

"Where is he?" ask Aillard.

Zico just shook his head slowly, after a few seconds, an animal appeared on the door of Zylvechia's room. Zico approached and got to know the animal.

Zico knelt down and stroked the furry white beast.

"Did you see Zylve?" ask Zico.

"What is a dog?" ask Aillard.

"That looks like a wolf." - Audric.

The beast then ran small, Zico and his two brothers followed him from behind until the beast stopped in front of the door of Great Lord Randolf's room.

"Have you gone home?" Zico muttered.

"Ethelyne's with me.. He's hurt.."

A male voice sounded from inside the room. Hearing that, Zico immediately knelt down at the door.

"I did it, I tried to teach him, sorry, Dad." Zico said loudly.

"Do you have to use a slap? My only daughter's face has a wound right now, what if it's forever?"

Those words offended Zico, but Zico could only apologize repeatedly.

"Dad, you're exaggerating too much, Zico did that because Zylvechia did such a disrespectful thing. He's just trying to teach her." said Audric.

"He's being disrespectful to Aillard, should I beg Aillard to forgive my daughter?"

"Dad.." Call Aillard.

"I don't care what kind of mistakes my kids make, I never land a slap or hit you even once. I have my own way of disciplining my sons.. If one of them makes a mistake it is part of my mistake that does not educate him enough.. A child's pain is part of a parent's failure to take care of him, you know, Zico? I don't remember ever teaching you to hit, let alone hit a girl.. Right now, Zylvechia has calmed down, you guys go before it gets too late, be careful on the road.. And come when I invite you again.. See you, sorry I can't deliver!"

After Mr. Randolf finished speaking, the beast left. Meanwhile, Zico was still stuck in a kneeling position. He fell silent, trying to reflect on his mistakes but ended up blaming himself and dissolving in regret.

As an older brother, Aillard embraced the younger brother and tried to calm him down, however he came to his senses, his father spoiled the youngest too much, though it was natural that Zylvechia was his last child and only daughter, and his only child, but the way he spoke to Zico was a little unpleasant to hear.

After he calmed down, Zico started to stand up and walked away with his two oldest brothers. Zico did what Aillard and Audric did. After fifteen years of age, he would live in the outside world and live a simple life, closing his identity as a noble.

However, that was not what Aillard, Audric and Zico thought. They only knew that Mr. Randolf had four children, Aillard the eldest and Zylvechia the youngest. They also claim their mother died giving birth to Zylvechia. Besides, there was nothing else they knew.

Zico was pensive during the trip, he kept daydreaming, not even sleeping all night.

Aillard and Audric were separated for quite a while with her, so the personality and attitude that her sister had had were not fully known to the two of them. In fact, Audric was surprised that Father was so picky.

Meanwhile, on the east side of Madeline Capital, precisely Harvest city, where a human skeleton was found, someone came to check on it. He seemed to have authority so that not a single policeman stopped him.

"Dax, what do you think?" ask a young man.

"She just died two hours ago." replied Dax, a man in a black suit who was standing next to the young man.

"Once again out of logic, this case is making my head hurt even more!" grumbled the young man.

"I'll take care of it for you, if you're really sick, I'll drive you to the hospital right away." Dax replied.

"You stupid? The point is, don't set me up!"

"Okay, Young Master.."

It was obvious Dax was a servant, but which noble came down directly to a murder scene.

"Who's the detective in charge?"

"Aillard Randolf." replied Dax.

"Randolf's? It doesn't seem foreign." he murmured.

"He was the eldest son of the Randolf nobility who lived in Shannon and lived as an ordinary man.. All this time, the identity was well-closed." replied Dax.

Shortly after, Brian comes to see Dax and his Master to say hello and inform him that Aillard is on his way to Harvest.

"Excuse me, Military Police Chief Razac told me that Mr. Damian D joined us as a criminologist, is that you?" ask Brian to Dax.

Dax smile.

"That's me, Damian.." the young man who was still crouching stared at the skeleton.

Brian was silent, until he was shocked when Damian turned around and showed his face.

"Oh, God.. You're so young, I didn't realize it.. By the way how old are you?" ask Brian.

"Where's Aillard Randolf?" tanya Damian switched the conversation.

"Aillard is on his way from Delmare to Harvest, he'll be there soon." replied Brian.

"Oh, He will arrive in three days, meanwhile I will bring this skeleton, I will send you a report on what I got.. Tell that to Randolf!" damian said before he finally walked away.

Dax bowed and followed Damian. As for Brian, he stayed in place with his hermitage. He doesn't believe what he sees.

"She is very young, yet good at speaking, how old is she? Is he an old man with a baby face? I'm really envious!" murmured Brian alone.

As people were busy searching for traces of murder or anything related to the human skeleton, deep above the tall building, a shadow watched over them. When Damian realized it immediately he turned his head, but the shadow was no longer there.

"Hey, Dax.. Do they really exist?" damian asked while looking at the point where he had ascertained the place where the shadow had stopped.

Dax did not reply, he fell silent while staring in the same direction.
