CHAPTER 2 - Father Attention

"did you invite Benedict Anderson?" asked Agnes with a very bright face, like just getting a lottery prize.

the father Joe Andreas smiled looking at the enthusiastic and his only daughter, "Yes, the father invited her." The answer.

hearing the reply from the father, Agnes immediately jumped in excitement. "Goodoo-astaga, dad!!! I love you so much." Agnes hugged her father.

Joe stroked his daughter's hair gently, "Dad knows that dad's daughter, really likes Benedict Anderson. So I invited him, to make my daughter happy."

"Dad, is the best dad I've ever met. I love you so much."

Joe chuckled softly at the praise from his beloved daughter, "Of course, what's not for daddy's daughter."

Agnes took off her embrace from Joe, then she immediately looked towards the mirror. "According to dad, do I look pretty?" agnes asked, looking at her face in the mirror.

"of course, my daughter is the most beautiful girl I've ever met." praised Joe, rubbing Agnes' head gently.

When she looked up, Agnes suddenly remembered something, Kyra.

"dad, will Kyra come later?" asked Agnes, the face that had looked happy immediately turned flat.

Seeing Agnes' changed facial expression, Joe was astonished. "Yes, I invited the whole family, and of course they will also come, why son?." asked Joe curious.

Agnes shook her head, "No, as I remember Kyra was very tomboyish and her hair was like a boy. It was appropriate that she did not have a partner, even though she was 25." Obviously Agnes, with a face not like Kyra.

"Don't say anything like that, no good son. After all, Kyra is a good girl. Daddy knows very well what Kyra is like." Joe remembers Gently to Agnes.

Joe knows that Agnes really dislikes Kyra, but even though Joe Kyra and Agnes are now adult women they should have started to think mature as well.

Because Agnes remembers when they were teenagers, Kyra girl with a man-like appearance can captivate the man she likes.

and that's what makes Agnes so dislike Kyra, because she's always close to a lot of guys.

although actually Agnes knows that it is not Kyra's fault, if many guys are close to her.

Since the incident Agnes hit Kyra who was always close to many guys, making Kyra start to stay away from guys. Kyra gets to interact more with her girlfriends, even she stays away from all the guys close to her.

Kyra does all that because she wants to be close to her cousin Agnes.

On the other hand

"tok.. tok... tok.." the sound of a knock from Benedict's office.

Without waiting for my answer, the door opened showing Abi with a depressed face.

"Don't blame Abi son." A middle-aged man walked in with firm steps, standing before the child's office desk.

Benedict took off his glasses, "Dad? why come here?" he was a little surprised by the arrival of the father who suddenly came without news.

Nick Anderson is a 63-year-old man with 2 sons.

"doesn't you come to the company of your own children?" ask Nick, looking around Benedict's room.

Benedict shook his head, "It's not like that dad, usually you come if you want something" Benedict replied.

"uh-oh, my waist. could-can this frail old man, not be left standing. really unfilial child." With dramatic Nick holds his waist that does not hurt very much.

On the other hand Benedict sighed tiredly with the father's nature, "Please sit down father." then he turned to Abi, "Dan Abi, please bring us tea and a light snack." benedict's orders to Abi.

"well sir."

Seeing Nick who was already sitting on the long sofa, Benedict also sat on the single sofa near the father. "So how are you, and Richard?" ask Benedict.

"good news, if Richard he is traveling with his friends to Brazil" replied the father sober.

Benedict nodded, "Then why did you come here?" ask Benedict for the umpteenth time.

Nick let out a heavy sigh, "Dad feels lonely, can you get married and then give father-in-law and grandchild as soon as possible?" pinta, the father, gave a sad face.

"Dad, Ben is trying to find a future wife, but Ben has not found a suitable partner" explained the child intended to give understanding to Nick's father.

Hearing Benedict's reply upset Nick, "How can you not find a suitable girl, if you've been all day in the office.Rather than going out on dates, you're busy making out with this pile of files." Nick told Benedict.

"will Ben try to father." Benedict replied as he was.

"well, how can you not be stressed if your child is like this."

shortly thereafter Abi came with tea and snacks.

"dad enjoy the food, Ben wants to work on the remaining files." Benedict got up from his seat and walked to his desk.

"look at that kid, how can he find a mate if he's just sitting at his desk all day." Nick said to Abi.

Hearing Nick's words, Abi can only smile awkwardly, because she is confused as to what to answer.
