Chapter 40: Recording From the Past

the third session graduation exam for the field division will take place tomorrow day.

egyptians already familiar with the hunter's field-testing mechanism cleared some territory for a smooth test.

hendri was walking the road alone in the city.Unlike he imagined by the Egyptians who saw him not berating or away from him, they treated him like an ordinary man.

upon entering his apartment room, Hendri was surprised to find his room like a broken ship.

hendri was eager to scold the violet who brought in guests without her permission, but let her have a maid to tell him anyway.

after all was back neat hendri let lucy and bianca sit down.

"so what's up" hendri wrote

"we just got the info about session 3" said lucy

"he said we'd be put into a vast labyrinth underground and given 5 hours to find the hostages"

"our team will probably meet my father in the exam later" Lucy said proudly

seeing lucy and bianca already gone ripe rushes back to hendri's apartment.

"all right, can all the waiters come out for a minute? you're violet too"

everyone in the room came out leaving Hendri and Ripe. Ripe tinkering at his watch and pairing a small chip.

"i'd like to show you some footage of Henry"

"what record?" hendri

"the first record was a mysterious one that your father General Aron Graham found in your grandfather's lab"

"mysterious tape?"

ripe plays a video recording with his watch as a projection, and sees a strange video that was seen by General Graham and General Ache.

the video shows a man dressed in ash standing behind a camera staring at a large lake covered by a lotus, then a huge explosion occurs and a threatening arlong appears.

after the recording ended, Ripe explained the contents of the video to Hendri,

"that masked man is an arlong, he is the supreme leader of black leaves"

hearing that hendri's heart was racing, he finally knew the figure of his main enemy.

"if you want to kill the leader of the black leaves, start by killing him first because he is a symbol of the power of black leaves.I'll give you information about him later"
