Episode 14 - Shaosheng

“Excuse me Mr. Shaosheng. Sorry to interrupt your time. Someone was about to talk to you.” said the guard while carrying Tao and Ling Feng

“Owh alright. Thanks Jack.You can get back to your post. Please sit down gentlemen. Auntie, please prepare a drink to our guests.” cried Shaosheng from his living room

Tao and Ling Feng sat in the living room. Ten minutes later, a young girl brought jasmine tea and food to the living room.

“Good. What are you two doing to my house?”asked Shaosheng without making any small talk

“Lookin Mr. Shao. This young master is about to find a home and he is interested in your home.”tai Tao explained their purpose.

“Ha.ha..ha. The buyer is king. Sorry we did not welcome you well.” said Shaosheng politely

“No problem sir. I also apologize for coming to visit as late as.” Ling Feng said as he lowered his head

"Owh doesn't matter. I am always open to those who want to buy my house. But earlier let me take you look around my house this.”

Shaosheng took Tao and Ling Feng around in his house. Various paintings, jars and other luxury items decorate several corners of the house so as to make this house look luxurious.

The size of the house area of +/- 5000 square meters makes this house like a palace. Ling Feng also remembered his parents' second house which was more or less the size of Shaosheng's house.

They surrounded every corner of the house for almost an hour. They sit back in the living room while enjoying the drinks that have been provided.

"I really like every architecture and arrangement of this house.. Well then, how much does this house cost you to sell Mr Shao?" asked Ling Feng without further ado

I was surprised to learn that the price of this house was so expensive. One jewel is equivalent to 1000 pieces of gold.

One piece of gold is equivalent to 100 silver. One piece of silver is equivalent to 100 pieces of copper. Here one piece of gold weighs one gram.

The minimum wage for workers in this village per hour is only 10 pieces of copper.

Ling Feng realized that this house was very expensive. However Ling Feng would still try to get this house no matter what the price.

‘Master, may we speak alone.” said Ling Feng

“Owh why not. Tao, please come out first.. Later I will call you back.” Shaosheng said giving instructions to Tao to leave the two of them in the living room.

“Ba..baik mister.” Tao said as he left Ling Feng and Shaosheng together.

“We're alone. So how is mister. What is it to buy this house or not?” ask Shaosheng

“Hmmm.. can you make a sale and transfer of name first before I pay it?”asked Ling Feng

“Owh is no problem. Waita minute. I'll prepare.”

Shaosheng stepped away to his room to prepare for what Ling Feng had asked for.

Ling Feng started to take out 100 gold bars with a weight per rod of 10 kilograms each and put those 1,000 kilograms of gold into the black bag Ling Feng had prepared and inserted the black bag into his jacket.

Ling Feng read the paper carefully and after that signed a letter of sale and a letter of name transfer for the house. After which, Ling Feng took out a black pouch and handed it to Shaosheng.

Shaosheng was really surprised after opening the black pouch Ling Feng gave him.

He picked up a small scale that was near his living room. After weighing the gold for an hour, Shaosheng reinserted every gold bar he had weighed into the black bag.

Shaosheng sat back down and signed the two letters and handed them to Ling Feng. Ling Feng put the two letters into his jacket.

“This child is not a random child. Never judge a person by his appearance.

I was stupid to underestimate that young man. Do I say my heart, but if he doesn't want to? Ah, you fool, I express my heart first, let whatever the decision, I will accept it freely" Shaosheng's mind established itself to express his wishes to Ling Feng.

“Young master, thank you for buying this house of mine.But sorry in advance, did young master have a minute? If you are pleased, let's talk in my room" Shaosheng said

"Alright" replied Ling Feng

Shaosheng took Ling Feng to his study to make his point to Ling Feng

But due to my greed, I invested all my gold into my best friend who was about to open a shop in the Wang Empire.. It turned out that he ran away and to this day I don't know where he is" Shaoshang said

"So this house is my only remaining fortune. But if you'd like, I'd like to invite you to do business with me."

“Good. Try explaining your business plan sir.” Ling Feng said

Shaosheng also explained to Ling Feng about his plan to enlarge his previous shop and continue cooperation with the Minion Kingdom.

"I disagree less with Mr. Shao's business plan" Ling Feng said

Ling Feng also told him of his business idea to create a shop that sold various pills to raise the status of warriors in various kingdoms quickly.

The store will also sell science tools so that it will be the only one-stop shop in the entire kingdom. This shop should stand at strategic locations in the three kingdoms and in the Wang Empire.

Shaosheng was surprised to hear the business idea Ling Feng explained.

"Sir, that's a brilliant idea. But certainly to buy a building in a strategic location certainly requires very large funds" said Shaosheng

“How much approximate funds does Mr Shaosheng need?”asked Ling Feng

“Ah young master. Don't call me sir. Just call me Shao. I should have called you Mr.” Shaosheng said politely

“Alright Shao. What is the estimated funds you need for four buildings in strategic locations.” Ling Feng seriously asked

“Awhile I count first. ” says Shaosheng

Shaoshang also issued his abacus to calculate the expenditure of buying four buildings in strategic locations.
