THE MYSTERY OF ALAS KEDAUNG

THE MYSTERY OF ALAS KEDAUNG
Niagara Hotels

Tonight this week my uncle took us to stay at Hotel Niagara , located on Dr Wahidin street, Lawang. We walked down through Alas Kedaung , then took an ojek to reach Hotel Niagara.

Hotel Niagara which was built in the 1900s since the Dutch era, does not change the original building in the form of an ancient building .The design of Brazilian architect Fritz Joseph Pinedo took 15 years to start the design of the concept and the construction of the hotel.

The European-style, Brazilian, Chinese-style building is used as a villa by its Chinese owner, Liem Sian Joe. In the early 1900s many villas were established in Lawang district of Malang district because of the cool air.

In 1920 Liem Sian Joe decided to move to the Netherlands, and gave the villa to their heirs. Unfortunately by the heirs of the building was left unkempt, until finally in 1940 the villa was inhabited by families whose origins are unclear.

It was not until 1960 that Liem's heir Sian Joe sold the building to a wealthy Surabaya businessman named Oeng Kie Tjai. The villa was renovated as a hotel under the name Hotel Niagara and officially opened in 1964.

Photos of the Niagara Hotel at night with an ancient design that is maintained without a modern fox make the impression of a strong mystique and looks spooky.

A lot of mystic impressions and mystery stories told by our neighbors who had stayed there before and it came from the basement of the Hotel Niagara.

The basement of the Niagara Hotel is believed to have been used as a funeral for victims of the massacre during the Dutch colonial era.

Accidentally this neighbor saw the sighting of a human body covered in blood strolling down the basement of this room and instantly disappearing from sight.

Most of these noni Dutch ghosts are met by people who stay on the 3rd floor, especially room 303, so many avoid the room no.

On the 3rd floor of this guest room visitors often see 3 Dutch noni dressed in colonial times who are very beautiful drinking tea and talking together.

There is also a ghost story that comes from the roof of the 4th floor of the Niagara Hotel, from the top of the roof of this hotel can see the view of the city of Malang is very beautiful but there is also a mystery story that accompanies it.

There was once a descendant of Dutch noni who ended his life, by hanging himself in a room on the 4th floor because of jealousy her husband had an affair with another woman and was caught by her.

It is said that his spirit is still in the building and roaming on the 4th floor and the roof of the hotel, many saw a Dutch noni but when approached by the sighting of a Dutch noni woman turned into a horrible old woman's face and made visitors afraid.

But there are still likes to stay at this hotel because it is interested in ghost stories and other mystical stories, even vlogers create video content to attract viewers on youtube what they are ticktok.

Which makes Hotel Niagara famous for its haunted story, when staying at this hotel there are regulations that must be obeyed by hotel visitors, namely in the prohibition to use the outdoor bathroom on the 3rd floor at midnight until early morning.

For those who violate and do not believe then use this bathroom in the middle of the night, will hear the cry of a small child with a creepy face that upside down the position of his head.
