Hi so today was my first day of school in High School in Bali actually I have been from Elementary Grade 5 anyway moved keaini so I already know very well Bali, already know the culture, already know the culture, his customs, his beliefs, streets in Bali, his language, etc.And what I like the most in Bali is his tolerance because here too people are equally concerned about no blasphemy, religion, other people's culture, and I'm if the streets in Bali it feels abroad because there are many foreign tourists, there is a bar, there is a hotel, there is a night club, resto-restonya, etc,and what I like most is the tourist attractions such as the beach, the mountains, the Mall, the Temple, the Garuda Statue of Wisnu Kencana (GWK), the streets to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, Nusa, snorkeling is complete deh.One more if we walk - the road to Bali we are free to wear any clothes whatever will not be overlooked people, said katain people, for example kayak shorts, mini skirts, and so on,sleeveless shirt, it will not be commented on.
One more because in Bali the people are still very appreciative of their culture and obey in religion so there are some rules that we must obey related to the religion in Bali (hindu religion), for example:
1.if through the bridge or a large tree must be bell be it a bicycle, motor, car that is important bell because it is the term kayak we excuse the same thing about the waiter there.
2. in Bali it is if people die on the burn or in the cremation of his body and his ceremony is his name Ngaben.
so if there is a Ngaben it is usually his body in the warm while walking with the family, the family,or neighbors who want to join them to bury their way to the grave because in his grave it is usually already a place to burn the corpse. okay so if there are dead people passing in front of us during the journey to our graves it must pray for their bodies to be accepted with God,the goal is so that the spirit of the dead person does not enter the body of another person or possessed called as a distance (sorry if typo) in Bali.
a little explanation about Ngaben:
in Hinduism the body is divided into 2 namely the rough body (physical) and the subtle body (spirit or atma).
3.Do not Tread Canang or Banten
4.It is forbidden to turn on the lights during Nyepi Day
One of the great Hindu holidays is Nyepi. On Nyepi day, all tourist attractions will be closed, you can not leave the house and also should not turn on the lights/electricity. There are tourists who deliberately go to Bali on Nyepi Day to feel the atmosphere of Bali on Nyepi day.
5.Follow the rules of entering the temple/holy place
The manners in Bali that you also have to obey are karmic procedures or about the rules of entering the temple/place. Like you have to wear polite clothes and also a scarf or sarong. For women who are menstruating, you should not enter temples or other holy places. You also have to keep your word. Don't be rude or disrespectful.
I guess that's the rule in Bali.
ok so I went to 1 Kuta North High School in Kerobokan, Bali.
