Tank positions are often filled by Tank and Support role heroes, but sometimes there are also those who use heroes from Fighter roles because the condition of being a Tank is the durability and ability of Crowd Control. Support positions can be filled by heroes from Mage roles that have strong burst damage or Crowd Control abilities that interfere with opponents in war or when opponents are farming. Hero from role Support can also be used in maintaining the main core on the team can be maintained during the war or being farmed.

On the offlaner side, heroes with lane cleaning abilities are the top choice. Of course there are other requirements needed to become an offlaner hero, such as endurance and skills needed. However, heroes with lane cleaning abilities are often chosen so that offlaner can quickly help or keep the team's main core in a war state or just be a 'eye' for the core to feel safe.
