The Match in the Hand of Papi

The Match in the Hand of Papi
Heryawan Wiraja Sick

....

Morning is approaching. Sayup-sayup heard the sound of dawn echo from several mosques not far from the elite housing complex in the city center where the Heryawan family lived. Although the sun is not yet visible, Aryan wakes up first to perform dawn prayers. After that, Aryan sat on his prayer mat and read the Holy Quran.

The sound of the holy verse that Aryan read woke El. El also nodded. Slowly he rubbed his eyes. Looking for the source of the melodious voice that echoed in his room.

His heart was so warmed to see Aryan who solemnly read the Qur'an.

'Really sound Aryan. I'm so old, I just found out, it turns out that Aryan pinter njai.'

El was fixated on listening to Aryan teaching, he was too solemn to listen to the extent that he was not aware Aryan had finished teaching.

"El, are you awake?" ask Aryan.

"Udah, Brother." El crouched back under the blanket. Somehow suddenly drowsiness attacked him again after Aryan finished teaching.

"Well, sleep again, El?" ask Aryan.

"I'm still sleepy, brother," replied El.

"Yes, already, brother should be getting ready for the office." Aryan leaves El who is back closed. He took his foot to his room, because the clothes he had were still on the walk in closet in his room.

Once neat, Aryan immediately went down to the dining table. Apparently, the man who was currently his father-in-law had been waiting.

"Assalamualaikum, Pi," Aryan greeted.

"Waalaikumsalam, Ar, where's El?"

"El's still asleep, Pi. It seemed like last night El couldn't sleep" Aryan replied.

"Hmm, okay. How, Ar, are you ready for today?" ask Heryawan.

"Are you sure of this decision?" Aryan doesn't feel he deserves this position, Pi."

Heryawan sighed. "Papi is old, Ar, Papi wants to enjoy the old age of Papi without any office affairs, Papi is also not strong if you have to go to and fro to control the company outside the city. Papi's physique is not as strong as it once was, Ar. Papi's sure you're capable."

"Well, if it wants Papi, but don't let go of Aryan that's it, yeah, Pi. Aryan needs Papi's guidance. Aryan still has a lot to learn about the same company Papi," said Aryan.

"You don't have to worry about that, for sure" replied Heryawan.

This afternoon became a historic day for the King of Corp, because from today onwards the King Corp was officially led by Aryandi Prasetya. Handover of office has been completed and witnessed by shareholders and announced to all employees.

"Congratulations, yes, Ar. May the King Corp be more successful in bringing your leadership." Heryawan Wiraja hugged Aryan.

"Thank you, Pi," Aryan replied.

"Oh, yeah, introduce this Septian. The man you appointed as your personal assistant." Heryawan pointed at the navy blue-clothed man who was standing not far from him.

Aryan and Septian shook hands.

"It's great to be able to work with you" Septian said.

"Ar, Papi wants to see Papi's partner, Papi is fine, right?"

"If Aryan is between you, Pi?"

"No need, Papi can with office drivers," Heryawan declined.

"Well, Papi be careful" said Aryan.

Heryawan nodded and patted Aryan softly on the shoulder before leaving her.

Heryawan also arrived at the restaurant that was promised both. It turned out that he arrived first. Heryawan decided to enter the restaurant while waiting for his partner.

Unexpectedly, his eyes were fixed on a pair of humans who were busy talking in the corner of the room. For some reason, Heryawan's left chest suddenly felt throbbing. His breathing grew heavy as a man chatted with his daughter while clasping his hands.

'O Allah, El, '" said Heryawan.

Heraywan chose to leave that place. The promise with the business partner was no longer heed.

"Sir, are you okay?" the driver who drove Heryawan earlier looked surprised to see Heryawan's face that looked pale.

Heryawan just shook his head. "Mad, just take me home."

"B-well, sir," said Rahmad.

Rahmad opened the car door immediately. He immediately drove his car towards the elite housing where Heryawan Wiraja lived.

"Sir, should we go to the hospital?" Rahmad looked in the rearview mirror.

"No need, let's go home. I just need to rest" Pinta Heryawan.

Rahmad nodded without asking much more. However, still occasionally his eyes glanced at Heryawan from the reflection of the mirror. The employer was seen leaning against the back of the car seat while holding his chest and breathing slightly panted. His eyes were only closed and occasionally heard the words Istighfar from his mouth.

Arriving at home, Heryawan greeted by Mother Ida. Ms. Ida was surprised to see Rahmad enter by tapping her master. "Oh my God, sir, why sir?" Ms. Ida was seen putting down the broom she was holding.

"We'll take her to her room, ma'am. Father's breath seems to be tight," said Rahmad.

"L-yes, let's go upstairs." Ms. Ida pointed towards the top floor where her master's room was located.

Arriving in the room, Heryawan was lying down with a pillow that was stacked high enough. His eyes closed even though he himself was fully conscious.

"Master needs something?" ask Ms. Ida.

Heryawan answered by moving his head to the right and to the left. A sign that he wants nothing. "I want to rest, Miss Ida."

"If you need something, call me, yes, sir," said Ms. Ida.

Heryawan just nodded weakly. Finally, Ida and Rahmad came out of Heryawan's room, letting the middle-aged man rest.

"Surely sir why, yes, Mas," asked Ms Ida.

"I don't really know myself, Miss Ida. I just drove you to the restaurant. He said, anyway, want to meet a business partner, but not then you come out again in this condition. I am, right, just outside. So, do not know what is inside, Miss Ida," explained Rahmad.

Madam Ida nodded. "Oh, that, yeah. Thanks, yes, I've brought my master home."

"Yes, Mom, Same. Then please say goodbye, yes, ma'am. Assalamualaikum," hail Rahmad.

"Getishalight."

After Rahmad left, Ida rushed to contact Aryan.

"Hello, Assalamualaikum, young master."p
