About seven years had passed since that faithful night,
now known as the "Battle of Hogwarts".
After the war, Harry accepts Kingsley's offer of Shacklebolt and
join the Aurors with Ron, while Hermione returns to Hogwarts
to complete his education.
Ginny and she have been dating for some time, but after Ginny starts
play Quidditch and Harry begins his training as an Auror
slowly separated. It does not help if the public eye is observing every
their move and in the end their separation was a mutual decision.
They decide to stay friends and despite the many cries in the
mrs Weasley's side, both happy it's over.
Harry still did not know if his encounter with Death
it really happened or was it a strange dream. The memory of that blur is only
increased his interest in the three Peverell brothers. What is right and what
a legend? But as predicted, he felt different to live.
Something inside him has changed.
At first he didn't realize it. He put it on the war.
It felt like Harry was walking through the fog, while everyone else
continue their lives as before. Of course, the first years
after the war it was hard for everyone. They need time to
re-establish their lives. Harry did the same
the other. He tried to do what was most logical to do.
Join Auror and date Ginny. But after a while
he realized he felt trapped. Everyone seems to be moving when
he sleeps while walking through his days.
Harry had jumped into the job just to keep himself busy. Him
has completed his training with brilliant grades and after three years
hard work finally joined the Aurors.
The public was shocked when Harry announced that he was leaving
Departments. There was an article in the gossip section of the Daily Prophet - of course
- even if it only scratches the surface of truth.
The title has taken over half the page alongside the gossip
more and advertising for the reissue of Celestina Warbeck's latest album.
POTTER'S MISSING!
Mr. Harry J's. Potter (Defeater
of You-Know_Who) came out with a surprise weekend announcement
then. After only four years of being an Auror corps, Mr. Potter announced
his resignation early.
According to an anonymous source, Potter
stop after taking part in a mission to find and hold
Death Eaters (followers of You-Know-Who) are on the run, where his Auror colleague W.
Hopkins was seriously injured.
Mr. Hopkins is not
contacted for comment as he is currently still at St. Mungos, accept
grooming.
“Personally I think he
(Mr Potter) may feel responsible for Hopkins' injury, even though he
not the one to blame. No one said it with
loud, but if it was another Auror team, the two of them would probably die. If
You ask me, Hopinks owes his life to Mr. Hopinks quick reaction.
Potters, ”source we tell us.
According to the statement which has not
confirmed, the attacker was none other than Walden Macnair (Surely believed to have been
injure /kill over twenty Muggles/Witches / Witches below
the Dark Lord's reign; responsible for five (known)
death during the Battle of Hogwarts).
Macnair's body never
found, and he's supposedly on the run after a You-Know-Who defeat. This
it will be the first big news after a series of more catches
small for the last few months.
Since speaking at the conference
the press, where Mr. Potter announces his resignation, he has not been seen in
publicly, despite rumors stating that she plans to become more
be active in politics and consider running for a seat in
Wizengamot.

Only thanks to Kingsley could Harry keep a secret
the detail. It's not that he really cares about what people think
about her. Sometimes it scares him, how much he doesn't
care about anything at the moment.
He and Wayne are
I've met Macnair. Usually these traces are just mere rumors. Follows
they mostly mean going out at night, observing the same place during
hours and waiting. They usually get nothing from him except
foot pain and flu.
Harry happily handed it over to the younger Auror
thinking of being in the Department means interesting cases and duels.
But that time has passed.
Most of the Death Eaters had been captured by Harry and Ron - when he
hasn't worked at Weasley's Wizards Wheezes - and a few others. Congratulations from
the battle, the Aurors who still remember the first war.
Even as trainees, they had participated in this hunt. Curses
to kill was already common in the first two years after the battle. Subsequent to
black magic was forbidden, but diffindo was placed
it can well penetrate the skin as easily as an illegal curse.
Harry had gotten some strange views of
his friends, when he never hesitated when he met
Travers, or Rowle, or Lestrange's older sister, just to mention
some examples. But this time it's over. Not much of
The captured Death Eaters are alive today and those who barely
it can be described that way. The empty shell rotted in his cell in
Azkaban. Dementors float on one island rather than letting
they explore the country. It was an open secret in the Department
even Kingsley thought that way, despite all the promises to the public
that they're trying to replace the creature with a human guard.
But they don't
have a real case for centuries. The Auror department is mostly busy
help the Obliviators. Harry could count how many weeks of legislation
secrecy is not violated on one side. Just last week, though,
they had a case, when some Muggleborn wanted to brag and
mesmerize the table at a party when she goes out with her Muggle friends.
That's the thing that
very large, it was just that they could hide everything from the public eye.
Muggle and magical world .
Despite the fact that most pure blood was currently humiliated
as Death Eaters, some of them still had influence in
Ministries. There is already pressure to tighten related laws
violation of confidentiality laws. The only reason not so
influential was because no Witch or Witch was injured after
recent violations.
But the girl had been the victim of a cruel beating due to her stupidity
by oneself. Therefore, everyone involved in the cleanup of the case
must sign a miraculous contract that guarantees their confidentiality. And of course
only, the Auror Department is responsible for that.
Happy to leave behind some monotony, Harry offers Wayne
his help. Hopkins has found the simplest clue of the trail
after weeks of researching, and even then, more
the accident that they found the Death Eaters. They're checking
a warehouse known to regularly house a black market where people
can acquire various magical items as well as creatures and potions
illegal. During difficult times it holds all kinds of dirt that
living on the streets.
They entered through the back door, dust swirling in
under their feet as they sneak through the barn. The smell of piss and
alcohol filled the air as they walked past the several witches
leaning against the wall. Harry gestured for them to leave and they
quickly complies because they are not too keen to be confronted by
the Auror.
As soon as they saw Macnair among a group of people
which will make Mundung run for his money, Hopkins immediately announced
his presence, following Auror's protocol as he tries to capture the witch. Temporal
other people split up and parted ways, Macnair had ducked behind the pile
box and start throwing vile curses in response to stupidity
Hopkins. The Death Eaters did not waste their time insulting Harry
killing them. Harry could see why he had not been arrested.
The wooden box turned to dust and Harry ducked behind
pillar, but Wayne is soon exposed to a very familiar cutting curse. Him
falling to the floor choking and coughing, bleeding from malignant wounds.
Sectumsempra
Harry has never
seeing that curse since the Battle. He stopped to defend himself and
ignoring the curse cast by Macnair, but instead paying attention
that dying man. Because that's what happened. Wayne
died, and Harry stood there, attracted by the sight of life force
Waynes left his body. Red blood seeped into the space between
rotting floorboards. For the first time in years,
the chains holding Harry back seemed to be saggy and he could
breathing while Hopkins choked on his own blood.
Only the sound of Macnair separating drew Harry from the
stupe.
After Harry asked for help, Hopkins survived. Barely,
but he has recovered completely, even if he is injured for the rest of his life.
He told Kingsley the truth. That was
the conversation was long and while Kingsley had pulled some strings
to be able to withstand his hesitation to act when shocked, it was
psychological evaluation or a break from work in the open field. Harry
know there's been rumors about his cold behavior towards the Death Eaters and this
it would only add to the pile of dubious things around him. And because
neither of the two options were of interest to Harry, quitting was a thing
next best. After all, there was more than enough money in his safe to
living without a decent income. He's itching for something he can't
mention it and sitting in his office at the Ministry won't change it.
Harry started out at night, but it was quick
escalated. Every week, another article in the Prophet tells of
his latest adventure with a witch. But the feeling that there is
something that is missing, the emptiness inside him cannot be filled with
alcohol or ****.
One day he wakes up and realizes, that without meaning too, he
he has withdrawn from everyone who means anything to him.
And while Harry can't shake the feeling that he's
sleepwalking all his life, he had made plans
certain to make it work.
He reconnected with his friends. When
Hermione asks him to help her with her new fundraiser to
whatever it is, he helps her. When Mrs Weasley invited her to eat
night, he's coming. He laughed smilingly and made a joke. Harry
visit Teddy once a week and try to follow his friends in
the weekend. There is even tea in Malfoy Manor, thanks to the insistence
Narcissa.
But when he got home, he felt empty. The monotony
his life was weighing on him like a thick blanket. Something is missing and
Harry doesn't know what it is.
Safety comes in a strange way. When he
walking through Diagon Alley a few months later, he heard a commotion,
but before he could turn around, a green glint diverted
his view. Harry did not feel how the spell hit his ribs,
not paying attention to how his knees hit the ground and not hearing
screams of the audience. All he felt was someone touching
her cheek. An invisible hand covered her face, so soft, so,
it was as if Harry was a long-lost lover. He exhaled
breath for the last time, when the cool breeze touched his lips as if
someone is breathing against it. Harry's eyelids didn't close
when the world fades.
Harrycity ...
When Harry regained consciousness, he knew exactly where he was
be in. A room that has long been known, high glass ceilings, and,
and the empty train tracks. Everything is so white. And figure
looming over it.
"Welcome to
back..."
"Hello Death," said Harry, sitting down. That creature
it looks the same. White eyes, pale skin and darker hair
black flowed around his head like the ridicule of a halo.
"Harryyyyy ..." said the creature. It
a wide grin, showing his sharp white teeth. It moved
step back as Harry stood up and looked around him.
"That hasn't changed," he said, his eyes returning to
Death, which was still a mirror image of his younger self.
"seems."
As Harry began to walk around, Death followed him
but not commenting.
"I can't go back, can I?" Harry asked after
some moments. Their environment has not changed much. That place seems
repeated in endless rounds. It's ironic how similar that is
his life for the last seven years.
“Do you want?” Ask death instead of answering.
Harry remained silent. He knows the answer to this question, though,
he knew there were only two things he could choose. Seven years living in
Limbo. Death Gift. Seven years he was given time to
make a decision, to choose the answer to a question that is still not
unanswered. "I can choose to continue" Harry said
after a while.
Deaths
stop, "But there's something you want more than that,
ain't he?"
"How's what?" Harry wanted to know, kind of fed up
with those faint words that Death threw at him. That was
Dumbledore again.
"Second chance" said Death. Harry stopped at
front of the bench and turned to look at the creature.
"Second chance for what?"
"Life."
Harry laughed bitterly. "Because it worked so well
for the first time?"
Death tilts
her head. It grins. "You've changed," he said.
"Life did that to you" said Harry and
his mind felt clearer than before, "Or should I
say the last seven years. You might think you'd help me
by giving me more time, but all he does is
prolonging time.states are nowhere. I never really
leave this place, right? Stuck between two places, everywhere and
anywhere ... Not really dead nor alive, "murm
Harrys.
"I know how
your feelings," said Death
after a while, grin.
"Oh, are you," Harry replied and stabbed Death with
gazes. The creature's grin widened as he approached.
"Bored."
Harry's jaw was open.
" Moving doesn't sound interesting anymore, does it?"
Harry stared at the creature in silence. Is correct. Him
always imagined she would be reunited with her mother and father and all
the one missing from him. But now the mind has no power
the same allure as he had in those days
preceding. It seemed like he had developed a disinterest in the idea
that's. He looked at the rail next to the train station and it was just as empty
like the first time.
"You asked me once
to bring your loved ones back. I can't just
return the dead. But if you're my Massster - I can take you back
to death."
Harry turned that thought in his head. “What is it
means Fred, Remus ... They'll live?” The creature only
smirked. But then Harry scoffed. "What's the point of this, then,
if the result is the same."
"Who said the results
it should be the same," said
Deaths. "You're bored. You don't have to be like that."
Harry remained silent. "All right," he said after
a few moments, "Do it."
Deaths
smirked. " It's up to you, Teacher ..."
As his surroundings faded, Harry got the faint impression, that
Death is laughing.
