The Marriage Contract

Leo's Plan

Leo came home with a wandering mind. He stared at the stretch of road he was walking through. Haikal's words were so deep in his heart. It seemed to be a loud slap that made him very aware of what he had done so far.

Until the car stopped in the courtyard of his late wife's luxury home. He parked the car and got out of there while carrying a pepper bag containing Kaina cuisine.

Ever since Selena's car sale and her quarrel with Sisca, the house has felt so quiet. No more wives would greet him kindly, no more spoiled girls with him.

Selena still feels at home to not make a sound, the impact of the embarrassment she got after her birthday event a few days ago.

Now, Leo's heart was cold, he seemed to lose his sense to Sisca after Haikal's speech about what Kaina had experienced.

He walked into the kitchen and handed the pepper bag to the waiter who was still on guard.

"Heat up tomorrow morning for me!" said Leo.

"Good, Master!" said the waiter nodded.

He continued his footsteps into the room, but when he was about to open the door, Sisca opened it first.

"Where are you, Mom?" sisca asked frowning with her grim face.

"I have business!" leo refrained from arguing with his wife.

"Tumben you left without saying anything to me!" sisca.

"I'm in a hurry" said Leo, changing his clothes and walking out of the room.

"Mas, are you still angry? I've apologized. I don't mean what I say!" sisca stopped Leo's steps.

"Introspect yourself, Sisca! Seriously or not, your actions cannot be forgiven!" leo is firm.

"I've confessed what I did, what else should I do?" sisca began to be lured.

"I apologize to Kaina and give back what you took from my daughter!" leo is firm.

Sisca was surprised to hear Leo's words. She was unhappy with the words that came out of her husband's mouth.

"If you don't want to, it doesn't matter. Let me apologize. But now she was not a weak girl anymore, because there was a young master Haikal who would help her!" said Leo while opening the door of the workspace next to the room.

Sisca speaks a thousand languages. When it comes to Haikal he can't do much. He only looked at Leo until the middle-aged man disappeared behind the door.

I will never apologize to that unlucky carrier village girl. Because of her, Selena and I had to endure embarrassment in front of Selena's family and friends. Inner Sisca was angry.

He decided to go back to the room without saying a word. His relationship with Leo is stretched, he does not want to get worse because of the mistakes he made.

While inside the study, Leo fell silent. He thought about what he should do later. Negative thoughts about death always come to haunt him. He was very familiar with Sisca who could do recklessly only for his own sake.

Leo took the key to the gurney he always carried everywhere. Because in it there are important files that are dangerous if they fall into the wrong hands.

Some documents he took out of the box. A copy of Kiara's will and some other documents that were given Kaina's name. Even all of Kaina's assets are growing rapidly without her taking care of it at all.

Kaina owns a 30 percent stake in his company, meaning he now owns only 20 percent of the shares after he sold them to Haikal as well as other shareholders.

Intentions, he wants to sell Kaina's. But it is impossible that he sold the shares of the princess even to his own son-in-law.

What am I supposed to do? There's no way that company I'm handing over to Kaina while there's still Selena and Bobi that I have to live for. It's been 18 years that I took good care of the company, until my carelessness turned fatal. Inner Leo.

"Do I share these two shares for Selena and Bobi. But there's definitely no way they're going to be responsible for what the brand has" he said in frustration.

He calls his lawyer and also Kiara's lawyer first, to meet tomorrow at the office. He wanted to discuss this immediately, so that Kaina would not lose her rights as the sole heir of Kiara.

He prepared all the files needed to take care of it all. In hopes, he could make up for all the mistakes he had made so far.

Her tears welled up and dripped without her being able to prevent it. The woman he thought was good all along turned out to be a poisonous snake that could kill him at any time.

On his sobs, a woman who was so beautiful suddenly came and gently stroked Leo's head that had been overgrown with gray hair.

"Why are you crying?" he said in a soft voice.

"Mother-mother?" father Leo felt disbelief.

"How's our daughter doing? Ah, I want to scold you for handing over my little daughter to that witch!" kiara was upset.

"Pardon me, Nda. I regretted abandoning our daughter. Sorry for betraying you, too" ucpa Leo came back crying.

Kiara smiled and hugged Leo gently. "Everything's happened. Now, I don't have time to make up for everything. Do your best for our little daughter" he said.

"Dad doesn't know if this is the best or not. Tell me, Nda! What should you do?" said Leo.

He was ashamed of his first wife. He no longer had a face in front of this beautiful woman.

"Meet Kaina as soon as possible, because she has an answer about what you should do!" kiara smiled.

Leo only fell silent looking at Kiara's beautiful face that looked radiant. Very similar to Kaina now. Her tears flowed more and more as Kiara hugged her.

"Wakeup! It's not too late to fix all this. Don't buy any more time!" kiara smiled and disappeared.

"Kiara, wait!" Leo was shocked.

He awoke from his sleep when he heard Sisca's voice and the knock on the door so loud.

"Mas, awake! It's noon!" sisca.

He was silent for a while while expelling the drowsiness that still dominates. He put all the files in his briefcase and got out of the room immediately.

"Did you sleep here all night?" sisca asked not to like it.

"I overslept, a lot of work I had to complete including sending a report to Haikal's young master about the company's development" Leo locked his study back in.

Sisca simply fell silent and followed Leo who was walking towards their room. He was upset that Leo didn't ignore him this morning.

Unlike usual, where Leo will give a good morning kiss and also beautiful words for him.
