Chapter 11's

The day Lennef was waiting for finally came, the festival. Although this is not yet our wedding day, Lennef said that it is on this day that the kingdom will announce its engagement. “No woman is unhappy about it,” she said last night.

I wonder how the kingdom announced to its people about the princess' engagement. Maybe printing something like Eid can be efficient, but doing a festival with just a flyer seems like a strange thing.

Apparently, the kingdom has its own place to do the festival.

In the center of the capital, there is a cylindrical tower that hosts the festival, the name is Tanel tower. Around the Tanel tower, a large field of stone tiles was created. It is on the ground that we will celebrate.

Yesterday I was not aware of one thing, which was the crowd of people who packed the street when I was looking for Hile turned out to be the ones who wanted to come to the Tanel tower.

On this morning, I was already at the Tanel tower together with the royal family. In a few hours we will go out and talk to the crowd that has come to fill the field.

I wear formal clothes like a prince. Whether it looks handsome or not, I feel a little strange when wearing these clothes. I don't think clothes like this fit my personality.

“Yes, it looks to fit you.” Praise Quine for taking care of me in my room. I went out to look in the mirror, then showed her this suit.

Unlike me, I saw Quine still wearing her knight clothes, which are thin armor that only covers the chest and wings that cover the entire back of her body. “You are not wearing free clothes today?” my many.

“No, we remain assigned to guard.” Answer Quine.

“So important? Indeed there are how many Royal Knights here?”

“Counted with me it looks like there are 14 people.”

“14 people a lot amount to just keep a festival.”

“This is our job.” Quine looked down.

I see, he actually wants to enjoy this festival as well. But because of his duty, it was clear that he could not abandon his responsibility as a royal protector. I pretended not to know about this fact that Quine was trying to hide.

“Maybe someday I'd like to take you away with no clothes on.” I said with a smile.

Quine's face flushed red upon hearing that, “A-What are you talking about?”

“Hah?.. O-Oh, no! I mean not dating! Just a regular walk.”

“Yeah, don't make me misunderstand on your own engagement day.”

Lennef looked beautiful in royal clothes, he smiled at me as he changed into clothes. He seemed embarrassed to use it, and demanded something from me upon his gaze. “Yes, you look beautiful.” I said with a smile. Lennef was delighted by the compliment.

Then, I, Lennef, and King Loios stood on the tower veranda, showing our faces to the festival-goers who filled the field to the brim. Lennef trembled nervously holding my hand, unlike me who was actually ordinary in seeing the crowd.

King Loiros gave a welcome to this event, he spoke at length with the full dignity of a King. Speaking of kings, I wonder why the Queen isn't here, isn't she coming to the Tanel tower?

When I thought about where the Queen was, King Loiros suddenly passed her announcement to me. The magic circle that the sorcerer used to make a sound, flew towards me without me knowing.

King Loiros gave his thumbs up, and that means I have to talk now.

I gulped, and suddenly became trembling which I had not before. “S-S-Congratulations.good afternoon!” I said that stiffly.

Everyone who saw me laughed, the field was filled with cheers. Lennef also laughed, he hid his smile with both hands.

I took my breath once more, until I finally calmed down. As the laughter began to die down, I continued. “Um.. You may be wondering why I am here. Who am I, where am I, and why should I be Princess Lennef's fiancee. Maybe there's something out there that's more worthy of me, and stronger than me.”.

Lennef looked at me in surprise, as well as King Loiros, both of whom did not understand the meaning of my conversation.

“.. but, there is one thing that makes me bound to Princess Lennef. We will be happy, and I hope you all are too.” I clasped Lennef's hand tightly, and blushed because of it. “I may not deserve to say this, but. if one day I who is the spouse of Princess Lennef became king, then lucky you! I have the ability to improve this kingdom, one step, no, even two steps ahead of other countries.”

I raised my right hand, and proudly announced, “Step today, is a leap of revolution!”

The crowd shouts broke out as I announced it, everyone cheering excitedly. My name that they had heard from King Loiros was cheered up many times, making the atmosphere very lively.

Among the audience, some chanted, “Steps for revolution!!” and all the spectators then followed the cheers. The word ‘step for revolution’ is like an official motto, they eagerly shout it.

“Yes, right, shout! Shout until the world is deaf!”

The next order of the festival is the journey home of the royal family to the palace. We will ride a luxurious horse carriage and take a straight path from the Tanel tower to the palace. I was surprised to see the citizens who were not only around the field, but also along the road to the palace.

The screams of the citizens did not rest a bit, they continued to cheer us while showing their enthusiasm to me and Lennef.

Florinas was sitting next to me, I strictly forbade him to fly because it could arouse suspicion. Luckily Florinas was not stubborn with this, considering that he had previously opposed my request telling him not to go to the Tanel tower.

While on the way, I questioned King Loiros, “Where is the Queen? I haven't seen her since, has the queen been waiting at the palace?” my many.

The king heard it instantly put on a puzzling look, his eyes bulging and his eyebrows bending. He looked right and left, looked around and realized that the Queen did not exist. “Andervine.. Andervine is not. Where is he?!” king panic.

I was obviously confused to see such a frantic facial reaction, when I thought the queen was deliberately not coming because it was a tradition.

Lennef also seemed to be unaware that his mother was not there from the beginning, he panicked and constantly questioned his mother to me. Not wanting anything bad to happen, the king ordered the horse driver to speed up the train.

The horse-drawn carriage passed quickly among the crowd of spectators, and arrived at the palace 5 minutes

Everyone including me rushed into the palace, we ran with gasps, even Lennef had to take off his heels and raise his skirt to make it easy to run.

We arrived at the front door of the palace, strangely enough, there were no guards waiting in front of it. This is not a gate, but an entrance into the building. It was strange that the guard could so presumptuously leave this door unguarded.

King Loiros opened the entrance of the great palace violently. The door opened, and we all went in.

How surprised we were to see how many unknown people were in the palace. Again, they were not ordinary people, they were men of stout stature with open tops revealing their breasts and stomachs formed.

But the concern is, the person in the middle of the room who uses luxurious clothes, handsome, and has an unusual hairstyle. The man held a dagger in his hand, and was directed at a woman's neck who was none other than Queen Andervine. The queen knelt next to the man.

The burly men circled the room, as if besieging us. Even the palace doors were closed and we had no way out. Among the people who were besieging, I saw that there was a Hile who was guarded by a man who had a different aura to others.

The situation is complicated, really.

“Valarish.. don't you again.” King Loiros grumbled angrily at the man who pointed his sword at the Queen.

The man named Valarish replied, “Loiros, nice to meet you.” Despite King Loiros' reply, Valarish's views were on Lennef. He looked at Lennef from head to toe.  What a disgusting sight.

“What the fuck? What's your goal?!” King Loiros was upset and snapped.

Undaunted, Valarish said in an annoying tone, “I'm annoyed that you yelled in that rude voice of yours,” he said it while swiping the side of his sword on the Queen's neck. A thick red blood flowed on the sword. But it seemed like it was just an outer wound, the Queen was still alive and only endured the pain.

Unable to see his wife hurt, King Loiros wanted to take immediate action. I could feel the negative aura and mana emanating from King Loiros who was upset and ready to attack, but before the King attacked, Florinas calmed him down by touching his shoulder. “Take it easy, if you act rashly, then your wife will die. He's not afraid to do it.” Florinas said to the king.

“Then what? You want me to shut up to see my wife get hurt? Even if he dies though, I can resurrect him with my magic.”

“Raising him? That's if you're alive.” Hina Florinas's.

The king felt humiliated, but also realized that there was an important meaning to the words of Florinas. The king calmed down again and followed the atmosphere with a cold head.

“Valarish.. quickly tell me what your purpose is or I kill you and your souls.” King Said.

“My destination? Just one. I hate your decision to arbitrarily match my sweet lover with the foolish man next to her. Your daughter, Lennef, I want her to be my wife. Otherwise.you'll know the consequences right?” Valarish. Heard however, his tone was indeed annoying.

“If you kill my wife, then I will flatten your slum Empire with earth.” King Loiros will not lose.

“Please, please. Right where I stood, there was an area that could teleport me directly to the palace. I'm ready to fight with you. In fact, the only reason I didn't kill Andervine was because I hadn't gotten what I wanted.”

It's so hard, I don't know how to act.

The two people I have to save, namely the Queen and Hile, that means I have to act quickly by ignoring the strong guards on par with the thugs I fought before.

Wait, thugs? Ah, right too, they have the same tattoo on their chest. I see, so the thug of the time was also one of their men.

Hile was in the care of his strong man above those guards, he was no ordinary person. While Valarish's strength was further above, King Loiros himself was actually even weaker than Valarish.

But that doesn't mean he's the strongest. In fact, Valarish is still much weaker than Florinas, and that means much weaker than me.

As I was thinking, Valarish glanced at Florinas and said, “Ah, I added the conditions. If you give Lennef and the beautiful floating girl to me, then I make sure your Queen is safe, and forever my Empire will not seek trouble with your kingdom.” He pointed at Florinas.

“Sorry yes, man. I'm not a member of this kingdom, you killed that Queen I don't care. Besides, handing myself over to you is tantamount to insulting Master.”

“Master? Is it not the person next to you? Ahahaha!! Meffery Walter, you're a unique man apparently.” Valarish laughed at me. “But sweet girl, I can give you pleasure you never felt before. The woman I once gave that pleasure to.The average of them now can think of nothing but myself.”

Hearing that, Florinas gave off a gripping aura. This aura was hundreds of times stronger than the aura King Loiros had just released. In fact, because of the strong aura, the entire room froze and made Valarish goosebumps. Lennef even had to resist vomiting because of the sinister aura of Florinas.

I appease Florinas.

“.. terrible power, perfectly fit with my taste. About... What kind of scream will you let out when we dance together?” Valarish once again teased Florinas with a perverted look.

I who was fed up with this ridiculous act immediately took action. Since the King is also unlikely to hand over his daughter to this pervert, I am forced to forcibly rescue the Queen.

I walked forward, to the place where the Queen was being held. Right then, several burly guards blocked my path. Their bodies were large and tall, I even lost 80 percent of my sight when I was in front of them.

“Listen, I don't want to find much trouble. But I heard you have an empire? Can you just go back and don't tamper with my family? Honestly, it would be very helpful.” I said to the covered Valarish.

Valarish laughed hearing that, then he gave a surprising order, “He's fiancee Lennef, kill him!”

Right then, the people who blocked my path towards Valarish immediately launched their fists. With such a large body and a very hard fist, I was sure that they would not feel any pain even if they destroyed the wall. Yeah, that's if what they hit was a wall.

They hit simultaneously, but I counteracted their punches by hitting on their fists one by one. I did it with movements as fast as sound, not even anyone knew that I had just hit.

The only proof of my blow was the blood rushing from their hands. When my punch collided with their fists, that very moment their hands exploded. One punch from me was able to make the arm with its hard muscles crumble. Blood poured out from their arms, and it flowed on the floor all the way to my shoes.

Those who had just lost their hands were clearly panicked and in shock, they felt a tremendous pain. That's when, I did a round kick with the target being their head. With just one kick and one lap, I made those heads float, regardless of the body. They died instantly.

Everyone who saw this scene panicked, Lennef swore behind his father's back, and Hile closed his eyes. While Florinas, my God, he smiled.

“You understand now Valarish? The difference in our strength is too obvious. Kill the Queen, teleport wherever you want. But, that means you will be my enemy, and I will hunt you to the end of the world though.” I said.

Valarish fell silent, gulping down his saliva as cold sweat flooded his body.
