The power of Do'a

This afternoon an aqiqah thanksgiving event for baby Shakila Arnelle Setyo Aji was held at Steven's house. And in accordance with yesterday's plan, today Bima replaced Syafiq to wait for Sena in the hospital. While Bella, Vira, and Azka attended the baby Shakila aqiqah event, as well as the rest of the extended family.

The event led by Abah Rohmat was running smoothly and solemnly. And after the symbolic haircut was completed, Abah Rohmat then led the do'a for the good of baby Shakila.

After the do'a for baby Shakila is over, again and again, Abah Rohmat also leads the do'a to ask for healing for Sena, the mother of baby Shakila who until now still lies in a coma in the hospital.

Everyone present at the event raised their hands. Look up, plead sincerely and expectantly to Allah SWT, The Most Powerful of All.

"Allahumma rabbannaasi adzhibil ba’sa isyfihi wa antas syafaa syifa’a illa syifauka syifaa’ laa yughadiru saqaman.”

It means: "O Allah is the Lord of men, the Healer of pain, the Healer is indeed Thou, the Healer, there is no healing but from Thy healing, that is, the healing that leaves no pain." (CHR. Bukhari)

"Asihil ba’sa rabbanaasi biyadikas syifa’u laa kaasyifa lahu illa anta."

It means: "Remove the pain, O Lord of men, in Your hands is all healing, and no one can reveal the disease but You." (CHR. Bukhari Muslims).

"As allulaahal 'azhiim rabbal 'arsyil 'azhiim an yasyfiyaka."

Meaning: “I beg Allah the Great, Lord Arsy the Great may He heal you.”

After reading the last do'a seven times, Abah Rohmat then ended his prayer by inviting everyone present at the event to read Al Fatihah's letter together.

"Al Fatihah's. A’udzu billahi minasy syaithonir. Bismillahir-ra.nir-ra. Al-Shamdu lillahi rabbil-'alamin. Ar-ra. Mariki yaumid-din. Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in. Rhdinaz-riratal-mustaqim. Siratallazina an'amta 'alaihim gairil-magudbi 'alaihim wa laud-llini. Aamiin's."

Meaning: I take refuge in God from the damned devil. In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all nature. The Most Merciful, the Most Merciful. Owner of the day of vengeance. Only to You do we worship, and to You we ask for help. Show us the straight path, (i.e.,) the path of those whom You have favoured; not (the way) of those who are disgraced, and not (the way) of those who are lost. Please grant our do'a.

"Aamiin Ya robbal 'alamiin, '" said everyone, wiping their faces with the hands they had used to pray.

Everyone is very hopeful that all the do'a they have promised can be heard and affirmed by Allah SWT. They are all very hopeful for Sena's recovery, so that Sena can immediately regain consciousness from her coma and be healthy again as usual.

And like a miracle, the power of the do'a that everyone has propounded with a sincere and hopeful heart seems to have really been heard by Allah SWT.

Slowly Sena began to show signs of her consciousness. Bima who was surprised when he found out that Sena's hand began to move slowly then immediately called the doctor to do a further examination.

And when Bima was told to wait outside first, Bima immediately used the opportunity to contact Syafiq.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat. What's up, Pa?" tanya Syafiq hunts down, feeling worried because Bima suddenly contacted him.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Sena began to show signs of her consciousness, Fiq. Now the doctor is doing further examination," replied Bima enthusiastically.

"Okay, Fiq. You be careful yeah. Assalamu'alaikum."
