Chapter 7 Feeling Guilty

Kalila entered the classroom with great emotion. During the journey to class, Kalila kept swearing in her heart about Akbar.

‘Basic old bummer! I swear you will slip down today,’ muttered Kalila who was not aware of her vow.

Kalila also took her mobile phone which she missed so much. He was shocked to see dozens of calls from men who had often disturbed his life. ‘Basic people,’ down. Not only do dozens of misscalls enter, but chat is also the case. Kalila just stared and did not open the contents of the chat from Danes, the intern at Kalila school. Currently Danez permits, as there are exams on his campus.

Danes is a 20-year-old medical major at a public university in Jakarta. He deliberately took an offer from his former school to become an intern there. When Kalila first entered school, Danes was already infatuated with her style. At that time Danes was in class XII. It's been almost three years, but Danes never managed to get Kalila's heart.

“Why is your face wrinkled so much?” asked the newly arrived Nesti and immediately sat down next to Kalila. He simply shook his head and drowned his face into the folds of the arms.

“... You still don't feel well?” ask Hesti worried. Somehow he felt annoyed by what Hesti said. Because of the last time, he had to deal with Akbar. Kalila immediately remembered about the affidavit she had to write 100 times. ‘Damd!’ he muttered with anger.

“Know ah! Don't scold me! I'm not in the mood anymore,” said Kalila and again drowned her face. Hesti just shook his head at the behavior of his best friend.

Not long after the English teacher arrived. During the lesson Kalila worked out the punishment Akbar had given her. Not at all Kalila paid attention to the teacher in front. Hesti also thought Kalila was copying the writing on the blackboard. He could not see what Kalila was writing, because Kalila blocked him with a book.

Actually, he felt that there was something strange about Kalila this morning. He doesn't usually behave like that. But, Hesti only harbored his curiosity, because he knew that now was not the right time to ask Kalila a lot. It did not feel like two hours had passed, the English lesson was finished. And Kalila had also completed her sentence.

“Prepare yourself for the National Examination next month huh. I hope you all graduate with the best grades,” said the English teacher and all students guaranteed it.

Actually Kalila was lazy in the second hour of the subject. Because it was Akbar's watch to teach in his class. Fifteen minutes passed, but Akbar's absence made the students all astonished. Akbar is a teacher who is always on time. Usually he was already standing in front of the class waiting for the change of subjects, but today was not. All the students were astonished and the class leader finally went to approach Akbar in the teacher's room.

Classes are rowdy, students joke around and tell each other various things. Kalila herself chose to play the phone she missed. Now Kalila opens a chat from Danes and reads all her messages. In the content of the message, the point is that Danes really misses him. Reading all the messages made Kalila feel disgusted and nauseous. He really does not like guys who only say sweet and lively words.

“Guys! Pak Akbar's subject clock is empty. Baliau had permission not to enter the class and only give assignments,” cried Beni and made the boys cheer while the girls grunted sadly. Indeed Akbar subjects are highly awaited by girls in Kalila class except him.

Hearing that Kalila frowned. He wondered what happened to Akbar, because this morning he was fine. Because of Kalila's curiosity, he should also look for Akbar while carrying a statement that he has finished working on.

“La, where are you going?” ask Hesti.

“You were ushered in?” Kalila smilingly shook her head and rushed off to the UKS to look for Akbar.

Kalila's step immediately stopped in front of the UKS when he saw Gendis who was also there. ‘What's up?’ ask Kalila curious.

“Pak Akbar really no one hurt? How can Mr Akbar fall anyway?” ask Bu Gendis who makes Kalila more curious. Kalila tried to approach to hear what Gendis was talking about.

“Iya Ma'am, I did not see the wet floor earlier. Yes my waist hurts a little, later also if it has been ordered will heal. Thanks Mom, it helped me find pants.” Deg ... heard that Kalila came straight out of the UKS. He did not think that what he said had really happened.

‘Yes God, is it all because of what I said?’ kalila felt very guilty. Kalila returns to the classroom with a sense of guilt that continues to haunt her.

Twenty minutes ago.

Akbar looked at the clock in his hand. He immediately prepared to fill the class. Akbar compiled all the books and first went to the toilet. Upon arrival in the toilet, Akbar fell and made a bucket filled with spilled water, to make his body drenched in water mop.

“Pak Akbar! Oh sorry, sir! I was brushing the floor with soap,” said the office boy in charge of cleaning the bathroom. Akbar also helped OB to stand up. The OB repeatedly apologized to Akbar for his guilt.

“Already Sir, I'm fine,” said Akbar again walking towards UKS while cleaning himself.

‘There is no way I teach in a wet shirt like this,’ murmured Akbar and he took his phone to tell the teacher's room that he couldn't fill his class today.

Akbar opened his shirt in the UKS and changed the clothes there. Hearing Akbar's permission, Gendis immediately approached Akbar out of concern.

“Pak Akbar really no one hurt? How can Mr Akbar fall anyway?” ask Gendis.

“Iya Ma'am, I did not see the wet floor earlier. Yes my waist hurts a little, later also if it has been ordered will heal. Thanks Mom, it helped me find pants.” Gendis nodded with a smile. He did deliberately borrow sports pants from a prison teacher, because in the UKS only available clothes tops only, while the pants Akbar was entirely wet.
