The Love of Village Girl

The Love of Village Girl
Section 11

Tono and Lastripun's wedding took place. Sinta insisted on attending the wedding. The plan was clearly rejected by his Grandpa and Grandma.

"I just want to see Kak Tono for the last time." whine Sinta.

"No." forbid Grandpa with a loud voice.

"Grandfather used to listen to your will. Now it's your turn to listen to Grandpa's will."

Their conversation stopped. Grandpa and Grandma Sinta immediately went to attend Tono and Lastri's wedding. Understandably because who has the dignity of a Lurah and has many treasures, the wedding party is done with great fanfare.

Sinta could only cry. His cries were getting louder. It caught the attention of Jodi's employer.

"Why Sin ?" ask Mr. Jodi astonished.

Sintapun tell everything to Mr. Jodi while crying a mouthful.

"Let me take you. I was also invited by Mr. Lurah. But on condition." said Mr. Jodi offering.

Sinta. Face sparkling.

"What are the conditions, sir ?"

"You have to disguise yourself as a man. I don't want any commotion there." said Mr. Jodi.

"Good Sir."

"Remember ya. Just look, after that go." insisted Mr. Jodi once again.

Sinta nodded slowly.

"Follow me."

Mr. Jodi and Sinta immediately prepared themselves. Mr. Jodi put on Sinta's face as a man. Apparently Mr. Jodi has experience in makeup. Sinta who has been rubbed face and body really looks like a man.

"Beauty is also you Sin" said Mr. Jodi. Sinta blushed in shame.

"But remember, you just look at it from a distance. No handshakes, let alone photos. No fuss and fainting."

"Yes." Yeah."

They left for the wedding reception with Mr. Jodi's favorite car. A honda accord sedan. Although not the latest output car, but already very cool for the size in the village.

Throughout the journey Sinta just fell silent. Chest churned. Something wants to explode. But all are under arrest.

Tono's wedding reception was festive and luxurious. Maybe the whole village was invited. Mr. Jodi got off the car side by side with Sinta. The disguise of Sinta is absolutely perfect. No one knows him.

While filling the guest book, suddenly someone greeted Mr. Jodi.

"Eh, Om Jodi." said someone, it turns out Diah.

"Mba Diah, how's it going ?" answer back to Jodi. While Sinta tried her hardest to hide herself.

"Om, did you meet Sinta ?" ask Diah next.

"So it's at home" replied Mr. Jodi.

"This who is Om ? Can you know 'em ?" diah said next as her eyes glanced towards the disguised Sinta.

"Oh yes, this is Om's nephew. Jasen." she said while introducing Sinta to Diah. Embarrassed Diah invites Sinta to shake hands. Sinta greeted him lazily. His eyes continued to look towards the wedding venue, where the bride and groom were standing.

Currently, the distance between Sinta and Jodi is very close to the bride.

"How's Sin ?" ask Mr. Jodi.

Silence holds back feelings. Body vibrates.

"Will you give me Tono's greeting ?" whispered Mr. Jodi again.

Sinta nodded. Mr. Jodi refused to ask again. He could understand what was raging in Sinta's heart.

Mr. Jodi immediately approached Tono, the groom.

"Congratulations Ton." said Mr. Jodi. Tono was shocked. Stunned moment.

"Congratulations Mas Tono" said the man behind Mr. Jodi. Sinta, how could she act like that.

"thank you. Who is this Om ?" tanya Tono next.

"Oh, it's Jasen. Nephew Om. Coincidentally playing here. Let's not get bored at home." explains Mr. Jodi.

"O yeah. Thank you Jasen for his presence." replied Tono, smiling at Jasen. Don't want to smile. Even in his heart there were tears ready to be shed.

"Congratulations, Pastri."

"Thank you, Jodi. Thank you, Jasen."

After congratulating the guests usually enjoy the party dish. But, Sinta immediately walked outside the building. Jodipun understood. He expressed his intention to enjoy the food he had taken.

Sinta gets in the car immediately. Followed by Jodi. Haven't asked Sinta any tears broke. Crying without holding it again. Shedding all the chaos that raged in his heart.

Afraid of attracting the attention of other visitors, Mr. Jodi immediately took the car away from the wedding party area. Mr. Jodi directed the car towards the quiet hills, hopefully Sinta could cry as much as possible without anyone suspecting.

Along the way left the building Sinta crying non-stop, especially when it arrived silent hills. All that was broken was shed through his cries. Mr. Jodi was speechless letting Sinta cry like that.

Alampun became a witness, the heart of a village woman who had been hurt.

After a long time, the crying of Sintapun died down.

"A good one ?" ask Mr. Jodi. Sinta nodded slowly.

"You're coming home ?" ask Mr. Jodi.

Sinta.

"If it continues here, later if anyone knows can come a lot of slander."

"I'll wear a gown."

"Then, still. Where there are men crying like that" said Mr. Jodi next.

"If you don't want to go home yet, we just take a walk to the city. Or to the beach."

"OKAY. We go to town. Eat first. I haven't tasted food yet."

"Sorry sir. So troublesome Mr. Jodi." said Sinta.

"It has. No need to talk so. I was young and had heartache too. I can understand how you feel."

The sedan car drove off the hills of the village. Wander around following the street painting leading to a shopping pisat in the city. They're heading to a restaurant.

"What do you want to eat ?" ask Jodi sir.

"As for you" replied Sinta.

Mr. Jodipun immediately ordered food. Mr. Jodi's smile expands to see Sinta eating so voraciously. Maybe to cover up his baldness. After eating Sinta did not want to go home. Enter this store, go out to that store.

"Just pick the one you like Sin. Then my father will pay. Take it easy." said Mr. Jodi offering.

But the offer means nothing. Sinta kept walking and walking. Walk and don't want to stop.

Following Sinta's tireless steps, Jodi finally gave up.

"Not going home yet Sin ?" ask Jodi's exhausted.

"Are you tired ?" reply Sinta.

"That's not what I'm worried about. But your Grandpa and Grandma. They must be confused because they did not find you at home. It didn't go away, did it ?" obviously Mr. Jodi.

"Let's just be it sir. Grandpa and Grandma don't care about me."

"It's not like that. Just because it prevented you from coming to Tono's wedding, you immediately came to the conclusion."

Sinta. What Mr. Jodi said has a point. Without realizing it, the tears that had dried up dripped again.

"Well, why are you crying again ?" said Jodi sir.
