The Love of Kalila

The Love of Kalila
Dhika Permadi

Just entering the living room of the house, Nana was made excited because the figure she knew was in the middle of om and tantenya who were talking.

"Mas dhika.." lunge Nana directly hugged her older brother.

The man named Dhika welcomed the hug while ruffling his sister's hair.

"I'm not a kid!" sulcan Nana.

Dhika's eyes then turned to a beautiful person who had entered with her sister.

"Oh, this is om, my friend who bullied a pervert at the stop. I brought her here, but she was afraid of the police she said." obviously Nana introduced Sindi by holding the hand of the awkward-looking woman.

Om Rudi gave a crisp laugh when there were adults who were still afraid of the police. Tak Nana introduces Sindi to her older sister. They shake hands and get acquainted as necessary.

The arrival of two guests at once makes Aunt Jasmin can not be silent. He goes straight to the kitchen and prepares dinner assisted by Nana and her daughter who is still Junior High.

Looking awkward in the living room while his eyes continued to pay attention to Dhika, Sindi moved towards the kitchen and intended to help Aunt Jasmin. It turned out that everything was done and the rest he did so that his eyes did not continue to look at the figure of Dhika. Mature, gentle, knowledgeable, and handsome figure. Different from Nana's childish figure.

"When are you on vacation, Dhik?" ask aunt Jasmin in the middle of dinner.

"Next week I'm back aunt. The trial is only one month away." explained Dhika.

"What's the plan then? Back to Kepri?" connect aunt Jasmin again.

"I'm planning to go on a scholarship to a German aunt. It's a shame that my college is only at S1." Dhika laughs.

Ah, that smile is sweet. Batin Sindi's.

"Well, that's far. Mama's already allowed?"

"Not told me aunty yet. I still know how to focus on the trial. After the trial I went back to Cape first, I will talk slowly to my mother. Let's not think."

Dinner is accompanied by a light conversation of the family. Although Sindi is the only foreigner, she does not feel intimidated. Om Rudi who he initially feared also turned out to be friendly.

"Om, Sindi is also smart, she is the most accomplished student in the faculty. Now I just want to participate in a debate competition with him, feel I'm his accomplice." show off Nana to om Rudi who really likes smart and hardworking children.

"Oh yeah? That's great."

"Before he also represented the campus as an anti-drug ambassador, om." continued Nana.

"Well, it fits dong. Means om can ask Sindi for help sometime to give counseling to young people so as not to be mistaken."

"Can, um." Answer Sindi. A little he glanced at Dhika who seemed uninterested about the discussion about her.

"Om, next week, may Sindi stay in my room. Since debate time is only a week, I need a lot of practice and information on the topic. I need Sindi's help, om." asked Nana with a pinched face.

"If for academics, om never forbid." Reply om Rudi friendly to the children of people, while the same his own son... "Lila you see tuh mas Dhika, mbak Nana, smart and diligent to learn all. Don't play dong!" jolt om Rudi on his son who is busy playing tamagochi.

"Don't banding-banding the child!" pat aunt Jasmin to the arm om Rudi.

"I was worried that the child would marry first. The child is just one." lamented Rudi.

The dispute between the parents was greeted with laughter by the younger ones.

***

It has been three days since Sindi was at Rudi's house. Now he is not awkward anymore to the people in the family.

Go to campus with Nana, discussions, to the library, back to the house om Rudi, gather and talk. Sindi already feels part of their family.

On the second day before the debate, both Sindi and Nana studied very hard. Wherever there is opportunity, they use it for discussion and discussion.

Sindi had been sitting in the garden behind the house accompanied by books about politics that make stomach nausea. Alone, because Nana was looking for the book that Kajur organized on them.

Tests.. Blood dripped through Sindi's nose and about a book she had read. Quickly he raised his head hoping the blood would stop and he could not waste time resting.

Without doing anything, Sindi continued her reading activities. There was a figure who from far away paid attention to his hard work.

"Now" said Dhika giving a cup of ginger tea to Sindi. "Learning hard may, but do not let the same health. Could be before the race you fell first."

Aghast at Dhika's voice, Sindi got up from her seat and showed her stupid face to the person she had been watching for the past few days. The rest of the nosebleed blood was still visible.

"Nih, make your red snot." continued Dhika gave tissue insinuating Sindi's behavior.

Then he went away so easily without wanting to disturb the time the girl was studying. He was so busy and so serious about his responsibilities. So Dhika did not want to invite him to talk for a while. Later, when they finish the debate competition, he will invite Sindi to chat freely.

It turned out that the trial time was accelerated, not even one week, Dhika had to return to Semarang. Everyone looked disappointed because they were still missing. And Sindi was also no less disappointed because she had not had any conversation to Dhika. He didn't even have time to thank you for the ginger tea yesterday.

"Thank you for the ginger yesterday, mas. This." exclaimed Sindi giving a plastic bag to Dhika who was ready to leave for the station.

"Well, what is this?" dhika asked with her flat face.

"This is my thanks." Dhika picked up the bag and peeked a little at its contents.

"Okay, thank you. Oh yes, the spirit of the race. You have tried hard so the result will also be satisfying. The spirit!!" dhika stroked Sindi's head without her noticing. "Ah," he chirped and pulled his hand from Sindi's head.

Smile unraveled from the beautiful lips of Sindi. Dhika had just stroked his head and spoke a spirit. Of course, he must definitely be excited because the race day is getting closer.

Plus, Nana promised to invite Sindi to meet someone if they finished participating in this race.

"Mas Dhika?" the girl was alone.
