Knowing the Truth
“Sus, where did our patient go?”
Doctor Richard looked in astonishment around the room, the man did not find any whereabouts of Nayara in there at all. It made the doctor's chest rumble, he was afraid that bad things would happen to his patients.
“All the tools in this room are complete, Doc. Looks like the patient deliberately left this room,” replied the Sister.
“Prepare all the tools, Sus. We have to go look for him, I don't want anything bad to happen to Nayara. I'm sure he's back at his house,” the doctor said with full affirmation to Sister.
“Good, Doc. I will prepare everything quickly.”
The nurse hurried to leave the room. While Dr. Richard immediately opened the screen of his phone, he looked for complete data Nayara to see the address of the residence left by Nayara a few weeks ago.
Doctor Richard got the address, and he left the patient's room. He hurried to the nurse he had given the order.
“Sus, everything ready?” ask Doctor.
“Already, Doc. Let's go!” said the Sister.
“Let’s go!”
The doctor and the nurse left the hospital. They went to the address Dr. Richard had obtained.

“Excuse me, is this true Calvin Brawster residence?” doctor Richard asked the security guard standing in front of the gate of the mansion.
“True, Sir. Can anyone help?” ask the doctor.
“Can I go inside now? I'm having important business,” said the Doctor.
“Good, Sir.”
The guards opened the fence quickly, letting the doctor's car into the grounds of their superior's mansion.
Doctor Richard parked his car right on the front page of the mansion. He quickly and the nurse got out of the car cabin with medical devices in a mini box.
Both of them walked into the house. The doctor came at the right time.
Seeing the arrival of a Doctor made everyone confused and wondering, including Dave who had just arrived in the living room.
“Nayara!” doctor Richard exclaimed when he saw Nayara collapsed on the floor, it was seen that the woman was just about to be lifted by her family members.
“D-doctor,” says Dave wonder. “S-who invited you here?” ask Dave wonder. “D-and k-why can Nayara be like this, Mam?” tanya Dave sues her mom—Riana.
“Bring Nayara to the top of the sofa, I will check the state!” the doctor ordered firmly, he did not want to waste time.
Davi and Darren carry their sister-in-law's body onto the sofa. The two men lay Nayara's body up there quickly and carefully.
“Sus, remove all our tools!” doctor Richard's orders to his assistant.
“Ready, Doc.”
The nurse immediately did as the doctor told her.
Dr. Richard examined Nayara's condition, then put some medical devices on Nayara's body. The action made everyone become confused and wonder for themselves. Who is this doctor? And why be present in their home without an invitation? How could?
“Who are you, Doc?”
As the head of the Calvin family ventured to ask that question.
“Personal doctor who dealt with your son-in-law's illness for the past few weeks,” Doctor Richard replied without turning to Calvin.
The answer given by the man left everyone shocked, as well as in disbelief.
“Treat diseases?” Calvin frowned. “What disease did you say, Doc?” calvin asked a little high-pitched.
“Continue, Doc. We'll all wait.”

Dr. Richard invited all the members of the Nayara family to have a serious talk in one of the rooms where Nayara was not there so that she could speak calmly.
“Nayara has been suffering from malignant disease for the past few years,” said Doctor initiated the conversation.
“Violent disease? What is it, Doc?” ask Dave impatiently.
“Nayara has end-stage brain cancer.” The doctor looked at everyone one by one. “Nayara can not be sure to last longer in this World. Most likely he can last only one month ahead.”
Damn it!
Dave's heart rate stopped when he heard Dr. Richard's explanation. How could he accept all this?
“What are you saying this, Doc!” calvin snapped furiously, the middle-aged man could not accept all the truths that Doctor Richard had just told him.
“Calv, calm yourself.” Riana held onto her husband's shoulder, trying to calm the man down. “Do not use your emotions, let's listen to all these explanations until the end.”
“Nayara asked me to keep all of this a secret from you guys. And on this day I was forced to tell the truth because I could not bear to see him suffer alone, Nayara's condition worsened. And I hope Nayara gets support from all of you in the last seconds of her life.”
Everyone who heard the explanation from Doctor Richard could only fall silent. No one can speak anymore. They seem to be in disbelief that Nayara has been hiding her wounds and pain alone without anyone knowing. Truly a woman who does not want to trouble others.
“Did Nayara meet you this morning, Doc?” Dave asked.
“Yes, he came to me. At first he only wanted to check, but when he wanted to run the examination, Nayara fell unconscious twice. Inevitably, Nayara had to be treated. He promised me that he would do the treatment at the Hospital, but in fact Nayara reneged on all that and came back here.”
The doctor explained everything. There was nothing he covered up from the Nayara family.
“Without you realizing Nayara's current condition is truly heartbreaking. Starting from his hair that began to bald, his weight dropped dramatically. Nayara covered her real hair using a wig so that no one would be suspicious of her. I hope you guys are more sensitive to him.”
Tears that pooled in both of Dave's eyes broke because he was unable to resist the sadness that pierced into his heart from the beginning the doctor told the truth about his wife.
“Why did you hide all this from me, Nay? Why!?” inner Dave.
“Kak, relax.” Devania tries to cheer up the older sister who now seems so devastated by the news they get. “Second Sister will be fine, trust me.”
Devania hugged her eldest sister. He tried to give strength to the man.
“If you're weak like this I'm sure brother-in-law will definitely come weak,” whispered Devania. “You must be strong, Brother! Okay?” firmly Nia.
“How can I be fine after I hear all this, Nia. I can't, I'm not strong. Please.”
