DAILY'S MISSING

It's late, Daily who went to the cake shop hasn't returned yet. To make Nek Lai feel worried and anxious.

"Oh my God, where did the Daily go? Why hasn't she been home tonight?" Nek Lai pacing in front of the house. He was waiting for his youngest grandson to return. The grandson she loved so much.

Because of anxiety, Nek Lai also called the neighbors and asked for help to find Daily who left for a while and never returned.

"What's up, Grandma?" ask a young man who often helped Nek Lai when the grandmother needed help.

"Please Grandma, Daily left this afternoon and until now has not gone home" said Nek Lai.

"Where did he go, Grandma? Let Anton look," said the young man, who turned out to be Anton.

"So he said he was going to the cake shop. Grandma's been banned but this time she's not listening to Grandma. Grandma's worried, Ton." Nek Lai was so anxious, visible from the look of his old face and also his hands were constantly squeezing the edge of the clothes he was wearing.

"If so, Anton will try to find and ask the owner of the cake shop first, Grandma." Anton goes to look for the Daily. "Anton pamit, Grandma. Assalamualaikum."

"Hopefully nothing happened to the Daily," worried Nek Lai. "Waalaikum'salam."

The young man named Anton was immediately looking for Daily. Wander the dark night streets with a small flashlight to the cake shop he said he visited in the Daily.

When I got to the cake shop, it just so happened that the store was still open.

"Assalamualaikum, Uni!" anton yelled at the owner of the cake shop.

"Waalaikum'salam," replied the Shop owner's mother.

"Sorry Uni, I would like to ask. Did Daily buy a cake this afternoon at the store?" ask Anton politely.

Scars of anxiety were so visible on the 25-year-old's face. The young man who loved Daily so much but always considered Daily only as a brother. What a sadness his fate, love clapping one hand.

"Yes, but he didn't stay long. After buying the cake, he went straight home. He said he was scared of being searched by Nek Lai" said the shop's mother. "Why indeed?" ask the shop owner's mother to Anton.

"So far he hasn't come home, Uni. We were so anxious, afraid something might happen to the Daily. Moreover, he never went out of the house, we are afraid that he thought the people were Daisy who rarely came home" explained Anton.

"Right, Uni also thought she was Daisy. But his clothes and his way are different, and he says he's not Daisy."

After making sure, Anton was immediately willing to look elsewhere on the Union of store owners.

"Then I say yes, Uni. Assalamualaikum!"

"Hopefully meet soon" said the shop's mother "Waalaikum'salam."

Anton continues his search to the surrounding area but he does not find the whereabouts of Daily. How can I find it if Daily is somewhere else. It's even outside the city.

"Where are you, Ai? Why don't you go home once?" anton's Germans.

Suddenly, the eyes of the 25-year-old man saw the Daily umbrella that was in the dim lighting of his flashlight.

"Not wrong, it's the Daily umbrella! But where is he?" Anton immediately ran in a hurry and picked up the dirty Daily umbrella on the grass on the edge of the road.

Anton shines into the area with his flashlight. Perhaps Daily fell and was unconscious in that place. But, he only saw the traces of cake. Cakes that have been dirty and destroyed due to heavy rain that continues to fall nonstop late in the afternoon until the end of the night.

Finding nothing, Anton rushes home with the Daily umbrella in his hand.

The Nek Lai house. Already many residents gathered, they all helped Nek Lai search the Daily in the area of the Cisalak complex where the Daily lived.

"Where are you, Ai? Why is Grandma worried like this?" Nek Lai hugged his dirty and wet granddaughter's umbrella.

"Again, why did Grandma give Daily permission to come out? Hasn't Grandma ever allowed to go out alone?" Ask one of the citizens.

"That's my stupidity, this afternoon I just banned it but didn't follow it," Nek Lai said filled with regret.

"We'll wait until tomorrow, Grandma. If the Daily doesn't come home, then we report it to the police. Let the police search" Anton said, hugging old Nek Lai's body.

"Huhuhoo.. My granddaughter where are you?" Nek Lai could only cry for his granddaughter who did not return.

"How about you call Daisy? Perhaps he could help to find his sister, he was a lot of outsider acquaintances!" said one citizen.

"Yes, let Anton try to call Daisy's number" Anton said. The young man immediately contacted Daisy's number.

"[Hallo, what's wrong?]"

"[Sy, your sister's missing. Can you go home first or help find her whereabouts,]" Anton told Daisy across the phone.

"[He's missing? Why could? Isn't he always locked up, hahaha!]" there was laughter coming from across the phone.

"[I'm serious Sy, your sister's missing,]" Anton said.

"[You look, you fringe people care so much about the Daily. So you guys just look for him. Don't involve me!]"

Tut!

Daisy, the Daily's twin sister, cut off the phone. He really doesn't care about his sister.

"Astagfirulah.." Anton and the people who heard Daisy's lead in the phone line could only wipe their chests. They were completely unexpected with Daisy who never cared about her own brother.

"Daisy was like that, she never cared about the Daily who loved her so much" Nek Lai said in a tearful cry. "When they weren't like this, Daisy used to care so much for her sister."

"Patience, Grandma. We pray to God that the Daily is okay" Anton said.

The young man cared so much for Nek Lai. Besides he likes Daily, he is a good and polite young man. Not only that, he is also a hardworking young man and often helps residents of the complex in difficulty.
