Chapters 17. Start loving

The man in the black hood smiled after talking to someone on the phone. Then he turned his body when a man behind him called out to him. Until now his face was visible, he was a man with one eye covered with a cloth.

"Boss! Are you sure you're gonna kidnap that woman?"

"For revenge, for the success and success of my business, I had to do it. Those two Stanhard guys have made me suffer, especially that smelly brat! I want to make him crawl under my feet" said Jack, one of the mob syndicates under Stanhard's syndicate.

"The eyes are returned!" said the man with emotion.

It has been almost 2 days Raiden was lying on a bed with an infusion hose attached to some of his limbs. Last night Chris and some of his doctor friends had surgery for Raiden because there was a deep stab wound to the liver. Fortunately Raiden has passed his critical period, but the man is still not awake as well. Alea was worried about her so much, even the girl lost her spirit seeing Raiden like this.

"I'll really go if you don't wake up today Rai. I'm serious! I'm going to run away and get back to Justin." Alea muttered as she looked at Raiden who was still lying weakly on his bed.

"You hear me, right, Raiden? You idiot!" Alea snorted annoyedly. Then he got up from his seat and went to the kitchen to get food because he was hungry.

Though he can tell the waiter to get it, but he does not want to make a hassle while he is healthy and can do it himself. Alea doesn't want to be a hassle.

The girl asks that Tommy and Yona keep Raiden in his room. Tommy and Yona obey and they stand guard there as long as Alea leaves.

Alea was already in the kitchen, he saw Carissa was also there with another waiter. But Carissa was still in a wheelchair, she was helping Brieta to clean the dishes. Don't think Alea doesn't care about Carissa, she feels guilty about the girl and always spoils her. Even Alea forbade him to work and rest in bed until his legs recovered even though his recovery doctor said it took months.

If Alea feels guilty, not with Raiden. The man did not feel guilty at all.

"Miss, do you need anything?" brieta asked in surprise as Alea went down to the kitchen by herself. "Isn't there Yona, miss?"

"Yona was there, ma'am, but I wanted to come here alone. I want to take some snacks" Alea said politely.

"Let me get you miss." said Carissa suddenly.

"Let me just take it myself. But why are you here? You should rest until your feet recover" Alea said anxiously.

Carissa just smiled thinly. 'Based on the beard lady, because who am I to be like this?'

"It's okay, miss. How can I rest while the other maids work? Besides, my hands are still working fine." said Carissa kindly.

"But you better get some rest. Ms. Brieta, please don't let Carissa work." Alea told Brieta.

"Yes, miss, I've already banned her from working but she still wants to help" Brieta said, glancing at Carissa.

Elsewhere in the Raiden mansion.

A curly-haired man was seen stealthily on the phone. He tells Jack that his plan to kidnap Alea has not been realized because the guard is still tight even though Raiden is not in good condition.

"So we better execute this plan when Miss Alea and Mr. Raiden leave the house. It'll be easier, Mr. Jack."

"Your idea is good too, but how can you lure the two of them out of the Mansion?" ask Jack from across the street.

"It's my business, sir, let me finish it. Sir please take care of the rest." said the man with a grinning smile.

"All right,"

"Sir Lance where are you?!" shouted someone from outside the soundproof room. Where the traitor Raiden is talking to Jack.

"Yes, someone was looking for me" the man said, then hung up. He came out of the room secretly.

That night, just like the usual nights. Alea hit Raiden in that room but fell asleep on the couch. Yona, Tommy and Lance had already banned her from sleeping there, but Alea remained stubborn.

"Rai, until when are you going to stay like this? If you keep this up, I'll leave right now. I'm really going to go and marry Justin, isn't that what you want? If you don't open your eyes on the count of three, I'll go! I'm serious about Raiden" said Alea, threatening Raiden, who still closed his eyes.

Alea closed her eyes, hoping a miracle would make Raiden a kiss. It's just hope, isn't it? But great hope.

"I'll start counting..."

Without Alea noticing, Raiden had already opened his eyes but Alea did not see him because he closed his eyes. The man had even opened an oxygen hose in his mouth.

"When I open my eyes, you should be awake, Rai..."

"Oh my God I beg you, wake up Raiden." Alea muttered softly but Raiden could still hear it.

Alea began to count. "One.two...."

Not yet able to count to 3, Alea suddenly opened her eyes, as she felt a warm embrace so possessively coiling around her body.

"Rai.." the girl's eyes glazed over, seeing that Raiden had opened his eyes. There was happiness in his eyes as he looked at Raiden.

There was also a strange feeling in Alea's heart, until it seeped into her mind. Is his feeling for Raiden not just as a friend? But maybe he started to love.
