Lola Exam

Lola's family was shocked to hear Kiana's mother's reply. Lola doesn't think Lily is Davis' daughter-in-law. Lily gave a smile to Lola's family.

"He's the mistress' daughter-in-law? But we never heard that the Davis family had a daughter-in-law" Lola's mother doubted Kiana's mother's words.

"We purposely kept it a secret because our son and son-in-law were asking" papa Jack helped answer Lola's mother's doubts.

Lola's mother nodded in understanding and did not ask again. Lola still doubted Lily's higher status than her. She was still envious of what Lily had.

"Well let's start the first meeting of the Davis family and the Petra family" papa Jack opened the conversation.

"Thank you Mr. Davis for opening the meeting, please introduce me to my wife, my first daughter Lola who is also the girlfriend of Mr. Sean and my second daughter Kiki" lola's father introduced the whole family.

"It's okay - just let Lily's boyfriend Sean's family know "saut Edward who tightly grasps Lily's hand.

"The first thing to be tested is your cooking skills for Lola, Lily and watch Lola in the kitchen" said Kiana, who mentioned her first exam.

Lily stood up but her husband's grasp would not come off. He stroked the back of Edward's hand to wait for a moment. Edward finally took off his grip and Lily took Lola to the kitchen. Edward looked at Sean.

"Just in case your girlfriend hurt my wife I'll hurt her too!" Edward poses a threat to Sean.

"Don't worry! Lola is a good girl where maybe she'll hurt Lily's sister so there's no need to worry" Sean reassured her brother.

In the kitchen, Lily took out some groceries from the refrigerator. Lola just watched as she leaned her back against the wall. Lily took out some cooking utensils and dishes for the finished food container.

"Alright Lola! You can start now" Lily invited Lola to start cooking.

"Why should I cook everything in this house?!" lola complained that she stopped leaning her back and moved forward to the groceries Lily had prepared.

"This is a test for you! Actually you can cook or not otherwise you can be told to break up with Sean" said Lily who took a chair and sat watching Lola.

"You rich people can have servants or chefs, there's - there's just cooking it yourself" Lola cut the vegetables by force.

"If mama sees you like this you're immediately kicked out" Lily scooped up Lola's words.

"You keep quiet Lily! I'm your big brother!".

"But in this house I'm the first son-in-law!".

Lola immediately fell silent after hearing Lily's words. He was still upset about being told to cook especially that he was not so good at cooking.

"Yes! Why?!".

"There you have to make a nice dinner if papa and mama want to take you in".

"You're a lot of Lily's talk! Quiet down!".

"I'm the one watching you so it's only natural that I give you a warning".

"Bad! Just watch out for you, Lily! I'm sure one day Sean will definitely get Davis' main company".

Lola was getting annoyed with Lily's scathing remark. Lily kept watching Lola cook until she finished.

Dinner is ready. Lola serves dinner on the table to the Davis family and her family is helped by Lily who is just scrapping for her husband. After finishing her rendition Lily sits next to her husband but when Lola is about to sit is held captive by Kiana's mom.

"Wait a minute, Lola! Wait for us to taste this food first you can sit down".

Lola was forced to stand behind her father to respect the decision of the future in-law. Edward was a little uninspired to see the food on the table. Lily who saw the condition of her lethargic husband decided to ask.

"Why, honey? You nauseous? Is it not delicious?".

"This is not your cooking! I don't like it! Just throw it away" replied Edward who made a sullen face like a child.

"Haha... This was my darling when Lola cooked I made a special meal for you because I knew that you would definitely refuse it" Lily said that in front of her husband it was indeed her cooking.

Edward decided to try it a little and it was true that the food was indeed made by Lily. Seeing Edward's smile returning, Lily began her dinner. Papa Jack and Mama Kiana were a little confused by the taste of the cuisine Lola made. Mama Kiana put her spoon and fork on the plate then took the drinking water. Sean who saw the reaction of his mother began to be a little afraid that Lola would be rejected. Edward and Lily did not care and did not pay much attention to their father and mother, focusing more on personal matters.

"Lola!".

"Yes madam?".

"Are you really the one who made this?".

"Yes mistress".

"Think you're not as good as Lily, sorry I don't like her".

Mama Kiana pushed away her plate of food as well as papa Jack. Lily who had just noticed her mother's reaction could guess that Lola must have been told to try again. Edward patted Lily on the shoulder and gave her a sign to ask to be fed.

"Why doesn't the lady like it? I had a taste and it tasted good" Lola trembled slightly as she let out a calimar from her mouth.

"Since your cooking does not use sincere love, do you not sincerely love my child?".

This question could make Lola freeze. Sean was surprised by the question his mother asked.
