Ch.34 - Demonic Beast

After collecting the firewood, Yu Yin lit a fire and started concocting the medicinal plant Blue ice flower.He prepared some other plants and put them into the furnace.

"So, how did you concoct it?"Xiao Long asked curiously.

"Shut up and look."Said Yu Yin coldly.Xiao Long wanted to reply Yu Yin said, but she preferred to be patient, there is no reason to start unnecessary fights.

Yu Yin gathered the power in his hands and the plants in the furnace began to rotate inside the furnace and melt because of the temperature of the fire beneath.Each plant united and became a medicine.Yu Yin opened the furnace cover and liquid blue comes out and put in a small bottle.

"just so?It looks so easy."Xiao Long said.

"Easy?Being an alchemist must have a high focus and be good at controlling the temperature of the furnace so that medicinal plants are not destroyed, people like you will not understand that."Yu Yin said and kept the bottle filled with medicinal liquid.He put his leg back into the universe ring.

"So, where are we going?"Ask Yu Yin.

"We must go back and gather everyone together.Maybe they are also lost inside this temple, maybe in a safe place or vice versa."Xiao Long tried to find a way out of the forest, but he stopped immediately and told Yu Yin to retreat backwards with his hands.

"There's something ahead.Quickly, he's already aware of us!"Xiao Long pulled Yu Yin's hand and ran away from the place.The ground began to shake and appeared a large Beast with a height of four rhino-shaped adults with glowing red eyes.All the trees through it fell like wood twigs.

"Beast?!"Shouted Xiao Long.

"No, it's not an ordinary Beast, from its size, it's a Demonic Beast!We have to run!!"Shouted Yu Yin.

Unlike ordinary Beasts Demonic Beasts were a level higher than ordinary Beasts.It was the same as the Snake Beasts that Xiao Long fought against,xiao Long was not sure he could fight it because fighting with the Snake Beast alone was already close to killing him.

They ran to a safer place, but Xiao Long realized something and stopped running.

"What are you doing!That beast will kill you."

"No, he's aware of us, but he doesn't teach us."Xiao Long looked towards the Rhino Beast who was just staring at them from afar with his red eyes.He started to turn around and return to his place.

"What's going on?Why isn't he chasing us?"Yu Yin was confused.

Xiao Long walked slowly closer to where he was before and the Rhino Beast turned around and attacked Xiao Long, but Xiao Long dodged him and ran towards Yu Yin.

"What are you doing!Why make him angry!"Yu Yin scolded the attitude of Xiao Long who was looking for trouble.However he was shocked when the Rhino Beast turned back and left.

"It turns out that he will get angry when he gets closer to his area."

"How is it possible?All Beasts know only to attack their prey, they only know to kill or be killed."Yu Yin was still confused by what happened.

"I think I know what's going on."Xiao Long said

"What's that?"

"Every Beast you meet, weren't they all meat-eating animals before?"

Yu Yin thought for a while and realized it.All the Beasts he had encountered were flesh-eating animals, but rhinos were not meat-eaters.

"Maybe every Beast still has their animal nature before becoming a Beast.Beast just follows their instinct to eat meat, but the rhino keeps his area."Xiao Long gave his opinion.

"So, what do we want to do?"

Xiao Long thought for a moment."We'll see what's in his area.I think he's guarding that area not just that area, he's guarding something."

"How did you know?"

Yu Yin did not know what else he wanted to make, he agreed to Xiao Long's decision, perhaps the Rhino Beast was guarding its exit.

"So?What's plan?"

"Being stronger."Xiao Long took out a lightning sword and dashed towards the Rhino Beast.Beast the Rhino immediately ran towards Xiao Long and used its horn to attack.

"Huh, huck-butt."Yu Yin took out the liquid she had just concocted and drank it.She sat down and absorbed the liquid.

Xiao Long attacked the Rhino Beast and managed to be restrained by the Rhino Beast with its horns.But the Rhino Beast did not attack, but threw Xiao Long away from there.

The Rhino Beast warned Xiao Long not to approach by pounding the ground with his feet.The ground shook strongly and was almost like an earthquake.

"Sorry, that's not enough to scare me!"Xiao Long took out the sword qi on his left hand and on his right had a lightning sword.He increased his speed and went back to attack the Rhino Beast.

All day, Xiao Long continued to challenge the Rhino Beast, but the Beast's defense was very strong to break through.

Yu Yin spent the entire day absorbing the medicinal liquid she concocted.However, her spiritual circle did not increase and that left her disappointed.

"Why is your face like that?"

Yu Yin looked at Xiao Long beside him who was cooking something.Yu Yin looked up and the stone that gave off a light like the sun no longer glowed, like night time.

"What's going on?"

"The stone suddenly did not emit light, it was very difficult to fight with such a dark state with such a large opponent."Xiao Long said and pointed towards the Rhino Beast who kept watching him.

"So?What the hell are you doing?"Yu Yin asked to see Xiao Long cooking something.

"Of course, cooking, you must be tired of absorbing your concoction medicine and I'm tired of fighting.Unfortunately there are no ordinary animals here, there are only wild Beasts, so I cooked some insects that I can meet."

"Insects?"Yu Yin looked at the insects roasted on the fire with disdain."I wouldn't eat something like that."Not long after, his stomach rang.

Of course not everyone could do it.Yu Yin had all this time thought Xiao Long was just attacking without strategy, but all this time Xiao Long was looking for information regarding his opponent.Even Xiao Long had estimated all the possibilities of a fight.

"Alright, you reduce my suspicions, but I'll keep my eyes on you."Yu Yin said and bit the insect that Xiao Long cooked."It's better than I thought."Said Yu Yin.
