Heilong and Mao Shizi continued on their way to the Fire Bull Kingdom as the time they had was almost past the deadline to hand over the tribute. It will be dark soon, too.

But, somehow the feelings of the two of them became uneasy since leaving the sucking mud earlier.

The two of them felt the same way the eight Lions felt, like someone was watching them from a hidden place.

Heilong immediately looked at the area around them in the hope that he could find what creatures were actually stalking them. However, he did not find any clues at all. Though he had been observing the area around here for quite a while.

“Do you feel anything?” heilong asked without looking at Mao Shizi as he was still busy observing the surrounding area.

“Yes. I feel like there's a creature watching us. But, the sense of smell that I have cannot trace the existence of the creature,” replied Mao Shizi.

“Means the creature's self-hiding ability is very high because he is able to outwit the sense of smell of a lion that is famous for being very strong.”

Heilong did not realize that this remark had offended Mao Shizi because after all, Mao Shizi was a Demon Lion despite being from a different Race.

Heilong found absolutely no strangeness on the ground that was right under their feet. He then turned towards the back and started scanning the ground that was behind them.

That thing looks like a lizard. However, the lizard's body size was almost as big as a Dragon's and its movement while inside the ground was as fast as a snake's.

“I've found out where the creature is. It turns out that the creature was hiding underground. Your sense of smell cannot detect its presence. But, I can't confirm that he belongs to the demon race which is because his body shape looks very strange. I'll lure the creature out of the ground so you can recognize the creature.”
