Emmet suddenly stopped. Ryder, who was behind him, stopped and stood on the ground.
"What's going on? Have we arrived?" ask Ryder. He took Blaire off his back.
It's just that Ryder hasn't seen the castle, all around them is still a wilderness. Is his father's castle hidden?
"I saw the light in the castle" said Emmet.
"Light? What light?" blaire asked because she didn't see it.
Their position was still a little far from the castle, so neither Blaire nor Ryder saw any light, while Emmet watched as they walked over the trees.
"It seems like the castle is on fire," said Emmet not sure, or what is burning are the dead trees around the castle? Because the trees are dry and prone to burning.
"We'd better take a closer look." Blaire begins to worry about her husband's situation.
"Come, go!" Emmett jumped the tree again. So does Ryder, they're like flying. Once right at the castle gate, Emmet went down to the ground.
They saw that the castle was burning.
"Is this the castle?" blaire asked, hoping this isn't her husband's castle.
"Calm down, Mom. We better get inside." Ryder pulled her mother.
They entered the castle, in a fierce battle between the Nazareth army and Edden's loyal troops. Although not a few people, the rest had defected to Nazareth.
In an instant, Nazareth's army burned the faithful vampire.
"Edden!" call Blaire, they run to find Edden.
Some vampires were still busy burning the castle, they did not notice the arrival of Ryder and the entourage. However, not long before one of them realized Blaire's existence, he sniffed the smell of human blood. The vampire darted and confronted Blaire, deftly pushing her mother backwards.
The other vampires, too, were finally aware of the human presence. They surrounded Blaire and Ryder. While Emmet has far left them in search of Edden.
Blaire was terrified because so many vampires were blocking them. One of the vampires tried to grab Blaire. However, Ryder deftly kicks the vampire. Seeing his friend slamming, making another vampire wrathful. They attacked Ryder.
Ryder fights with the vampires, being dredged so much, enough to drain Ryder's power. However, he still tried his hardest to protect Blaire.
The others try to fight Ryder again, and bite Ryder. The same thing happened to him. Seeing that all the vampires came out of the room and ran away. Looks like they want to report it to Nazareth.
Ryder and Blaire return to search for Edden in every room amid the din of fire and some vampires trying to save themselves. They didn't find Edden's whereabouts.
"Rider!" call Blaire when you see a staircase leading underground.
"Let me see first." Ryder peeked down, making sure the place was safe.
Ryder walked down the first to third stairs. Seeing as it seemed safe, Ryder coded Blaire to come down to follow her.
They continued down the stairs until they found a basement consisting of prison-like spaces. It is certain that the place is a dungeon.
They keep on leaving those prisons. Ryder sees Edden fighting Nazareth. Ryder also sees Nazira fighting Bertrand.
"Edden!" call Blaire.
"Blaire! Ryde! Get out of here," drive Edden away.
Ryder first saw her father when she was an adult. He knew Edden was the father he wanted to meet when he was a teenager.
The arrival of Ryder and Blaire makes Edden's concentration crumble and it is exploited by Nazareth. Nazareth raised his hand with sharp claws, preparing to extract Edden's heart from his body.
Blaire ran as fast as lightning blocked him, making Nazareth's hand pull out Blaire's heart.
"No, Mom!" ryder shouted hysterically.
