Chapter 3 A Thing

Chapter 3

Jesse Anjani's

"Yes, Mom?"

"Present your resume up front!" tell a lecturer who pointed at Jesse.

The cool Jesse propped his chin while staring out the window was aghast. He began to stand in his seat, in the very back row, then followed the direction of the lecturer without saying much. His sleepiness made his face look crumpled. That's why the lecturer accidentally called Jesse first, so that Jesse was more serious when he was in his class.

All eyes looked towards him. They stared not with amazed eyes. And vice versa. That look was judging Jesse. Jesse kept calm walking forward, ignoring those gazes. To him, those gazes would only be considered as passing flies.

"Good!" praise the Lecturer briefly, without meaningful expression. He still refuses to acknowledge Jesse's intelligence is a little beyond reason. It's just the look that's trifling. But it turns out that Jesse is beyond the intelligence of his old friend.

After answering in front, Jesse was welcome to return to his seat. In the end he could escape from the killer lecturer.

"Hufft sucks!" curse Jesse in the heart. He quietly took a deep breath as he walked to his seat. Jesse doesn't realize there's a danger in him.

Duk! Brakk!!!

The girl's body fell to the floor. My face almost touched the floor. The whole room was holding back his laughter. The owner of the foot smiled triumphantly. He mocked Jesse.

Jesse was silent. There was no sense of pity from his friends. If there were, they wouldn't have dared to help Jesse.

"What's up, Alice?" asked the lecturer when he heard the noise caused from a table that pushed Jesse's body.

"There's nothing, Mom. This is Jesse trying to catch a frog! He wanted to hurt me, Mom. He wanted to give me a frog. Though he knows that I'm a phobia of frogs, ma'am!" fight Alice with a face. Jesse couldn't believe what Alice was saying. Really, Alice's words were the opposite, 180 degrees.

"No, Ma. He lied!" argue Jesse, defend himself. No friends are familiar with him there. No one believes him. They choose not to believe even if they see the truth. Better to secure herself from Alice than to be Alice's next target.

The lecturer shook his head. He breathed a rough breath. Still doing Jesse in his class. He believed in Alice.

"How lying? Aren't you guilty? In any case, I still believe in Alice" said the lecturer. Jesse's attitude made him trust Alice more. After all, Alice was a favorite student of the lecturers. There was no way Alice would do such an unworthy thing.

"But he's wrong, ma'am. Not me!"

"How can you prove it?" challenge that lecturer.

"They're all eyewitnesses."

Jesse pointed at all the students in the room steadily. All those who were appointed were silent, without giving testimony. They were looking for a safe position rather than having to deal with Alice.

"Is that true?" ask the teacher a little.

One by one they looked at Alice, even with a glance. Their guts shrivel. It'sit's nothing. In addition to being the next target of the bullyan, they fear that their parents' company will be destroyed by Alice's father's company. Alice's father's company already controlled the market 70% in the industrial field. It was not impossible that their families would be destroyed in an instant.

The teacher was waiting for answers from all of them. Nil. They were silent with their heads slightly lowered.

"Look! What more defense are you looking for?! You're guilty. Hurry up and apologize! Or mom will also be your suspension!" insist the lecturer.

"Mom!! This is all unfair. Everyone urged me to admit to a mistake I did not make. No one even helped me when they all knew! Do we need to go to the CCTV room to see the CCTV footage in this room?" Jesse stared at the CCTV camera that was pointing to his place.

"What is CCTV for? Just tell me you don't want to say anything? How much you want to hurt me" said Alice, who acted as if she were a victim. False tears become supporting evidence to make the lecturer pity.

"No need! You just have to apologize!"

No more word from Jesse. Jesse just stood there staring at the lecturer with a flat look. The lecturer was upset at being ignored.

"If you can't appreciate Mom as your lecturer, you're repeating your mother's course next year!" he said firmly uncontested.

"Yes." Yeah."

No objection came out of Jesse's mouth. It is better to repeat than to drop his pride. He turned back to his seat. Alice looked at the back that was behind her with a triumphant smile.

"Felt!" muttered Alice. He was five with his friends sitting next to him. They both try to minimize the sound of palms rubbing against each other so as not to hear their lecturer.

"Bad!!" Jesse clenched his hand tightly. He can't get his emotions out there. Its cupid appearance, made its movement space limited.

🌹

"Huffa"

Jesse sighed, making the two friends look at each other. Those who eat their food, for a moment stop the activity.

"Eat first."

Jane offered Jesse's food that had been used as a display. Just like sitting in the cafeteria.

"Lazy!"

"Tumben. You why?" ask Alsen.

"Regular. The mess is acting. I have to repeat that tough matkul bu one semester," Jesse explained.

"Group Mother? Ms Dian meant that?" ask Jane to make sure. The three of them attended the same college. But they chose different prodi.

"Hmm" Jesse just muttered.

"Gee... Really yeah! There's no stopping it's human!" Jane started to get emotional. He doesn't like his friends to be treated badly.

"Emang brash. But nevermind. Discussing them will only make my appetite less!"

Jesse ended the conversation. He took a bowl of his food.

Brak!!

They were shocked by the buzz of the table at their table. Jesse closed his eyes, holding back his anger. His hand held Jane's arm ready to teach Alice a lesson so as not to continue with her intentions. While Alsen sat in his chair by playing a toothpick in his mouth while looking at the show in front of him. It's a savage friend.

"Happy repeat one more semester, besti!!" tease Alice. He looked at Jesse with a condescending look. His guerrilla hand touched Jesse's horse-picked hair.

"It looks like your food would taste better if I added this."

Alice poured her fizzy drink into Jesse's soto sauce.

Alice looked at Jesse with a slanted smile. Likewise with two friends who flank Alice.

"And your drink will be more refreshing if I add this."

A spoonful of sambal was put into Jesse's drink.

"Good, Sa," praised Alice to her best friend, Resa.

Jane who was ready to stand was Jesse hold.

"Jess!!" jane said grumpily.

Jesse just stared at Jane so Jane wouldn't do more.

"Why silence?! Mute huh? Poor thing.." sneered Alice.

"Not mute. She's afraid of you, Lis," said Caca, another friend of Alice's.

"Notkututu... So!" Alice nodded. Nimblely, his hand grabbed the soto bowl. Saru the next second, the broth had already soaked Jesse's body.

"Alice!!!" jane couldn't take it anymore. At the same time, the two friends of Alice holding Jesse's body.

"Shuttt" Alice placed her index finger right on her own lips. "Shut up! Or is she taking another shower? Not complete, is it, if soto without sambal?" threaten Alice with a glass that is now over Jesse's head.

"Jess! Fight Jess! Why shut up!" Jane is worried about her best friend. He knew that Jesse was just trying to give up. Giving up does not mean being weak.

"That bill. The opponent should be," ridiculed Alice. He was sure, Jesse did not dare to fight him.

Jane who could not stand was trying to grab a glass of water sambal. While Alice, who was aware of it, immediately spilled the water.

Alsen who had just been silent, now he stood up and wanted to deflect the glass.

"Aaaarrrgh!!" scream Alice. The water hit his leg. Alice tried to move her feet so that the water did not wet her feet too long.

"Excession!" said a man.

The voice was familiar to Alice's ears. Alice immediately looked up at his face. How surprised he was to see the man in front of him.

"Danendra," Alice murmured in disbelief. It turns out that it was not Alsen who managed to fend off the glass of sambal, but Danendra, Alice's dream man.

"Are you okay?" danendra asked softly, after snapping at Alice.

"It's okay!" answer Jesse briefly.

"Lt..." Danendra lowered his gaze. As quickly as possible, Danendra took off the shirt he used as an outer. He covered Jesse's body with his clothes.

"O-oh. Thank you," Jesse said awkwardly. He was embarrassed. turns out the inside of his clothes that contrast with the white shirt he was wearing was visible.

Danendra took Jesse away from there. Alsen went to follow them.

"Geek!!" Jane sticks out her tongue, mocking Alice and the genk, before she also steps in to follow where Jesse is going. Alice looked at them sharply. His hands clenched perfectly. He hated the view in front of him.

"The angel doesn't know himself!!!" muttered Alice furiously.

"AARRGH!!" Alice roared in the canteen, not caring about the pair of eyes there.

"Take a look at you!!!" pissed threatened.
