Ch. 8 - Atropa belladona

"Why am I forbidden to receive the Queen's maid?"
Ezekiel frowned, as he opened the second letter from Goddess Zayya. He was thinking more and more, what had happened here. Could the Queen's lady-in-waiting have betrayed her?
"Ah, right too. It is only fitting that from earlier I felt something was stuck when drinking the herbs," murmured Ezekiel.
The God of Intelligence reopened the book he had read. "Well, here it is. Atropa belladona plant" cried Ezekiel.
"Atropa belladonna, or nightshade, is a poisonous shrub plant native to the Alkara and Eiland continents. This plant produces black berries that should not be eaten." Ezekiel read the book.
"Chairmen of Alkara and Eiland? As far as I know, this plant used to be spread in the highlands of Asia and Europe? So what do you mean, Alkara and Eiland are the continents of Asia and Europe?" Ezekiel draws new conclusions.
"According to the Institutes of Health Kingdom Viersonne (IHKV), Atropa belladona is not safe for consumption. Eating the fruit or leaves of this plant can lead to death. Direct skin contact with the leaves can cause allergic reactions and reddish skin rashes." Ezekiel continued reading the paragraph below.
"So that means I was poisoned?" thought Ezekiel was worried. "Whom did the Queen poison me? By whose order?" Suddenly he felt unsafe in this palace.
"The fairies, can you find me some coconut water?" pinta Ezekiel to his servants.
"There is no plant here, my lord. We have to go through Crocos Ailand to get it. The trip there takes two weeks" Olive said.
"I hate the ancient times, there are no sophisticated equipment" Ezekiel grumbled.
"Then give me pure milk" said Ezekiel.

"Rania, is Ezekiel okay? Isn't the belladona plant deadly?" ask the Queen. He realized that the type of plant that Rania used to protect the memory of the god Ezekiel.
"I've learned many things, Her Majesty the Queen. Along with the development of the medical world, this shrub plant is safe for mass use," said Rania.
"How does it work?"
"This plant will first go through a complicated process to get certain chemical compounds to be used as drugs" Rania said.
The woman walked to the side of the window while looking at the orange sky. He sat in a small chair in front of the bookcase.
"The "essential chemical compounds are scopolamine and atropine, Queen. Scopolamine works to control the heart rate and relax the muscles. While atropine works as an antidote to poison," explained Rania again.
"I've never heard of this plant being used as a medicine in medicine?" ask the Queen. "You you put magic into it?"
"Her Majesty the Queen does not doubt the intelligence of the God Ezekiel, right? He must have understood it" said Rania.
"Yes, I know he is the smartest creature on our planet right now" Queen Azura said. "It's not wrong that I chose you as the main lady, Rania. Your insights are so broad."
"Thank you for the compliment, Your Honor."
Queen Azura Auristella and Rania are wrong. At present Ezekiel's mind was nothing more than an ordinary human being who was weak and easily affected.
With a letter from Goddess Zayya and a few paragraphs in the book Simplicia, Ezekiel becomes suspicious of Rania having poisoned her.

"How can I be okay, Rose. I just drank the deadliest poison potion on earth. Maybe I'll die soon" said Ezekiel.
"No God will die, even if he can feel pain" Misty Amethyst said. "Is God sure he drank poison? What if God's estimation is wrong?" continued.
"I remember the refreshing smell. It tastes sweet, like fermented rice water mixed with fresh strawberries," Ezekiel said.
"But until now you've been fine, right?" misty said firmly. The purple light fairy was extremely sensitive to evil energy and negative waves.
"True, huh? As long as I'm here a lot of weird stuff doesn't make sense. It's possible that plant too" said Ezekiel.
"God, Private Valenseau Castle just gave an invitation. Dewi Zayya invited my master to dinner together, as a celebration of his return" Berry said.
"Oh, thanks," said Ezekiel, who made the fairies look at him strangely. Those words were not commonly used in the palace.
"This is my chance to make sure everything is with the Goddess" said Ezekiel. "Ah, I was also curious about the contents of the last letter," he murmured.
