Chaptre 66. The Lonely Girl 2

In a private room.

"Did you find the item you wanted to buy at Aaron's auction? " ask Arya.

"Hmm, I'm quite interested in the magic books they're going to auction. If the bid price wasn't too high, I would probably buy it" Aaron replied

Previously they had visited the building that would hold an auction in the city center, There were many interesting items that would be auctioned there.

Some of the items came from the labyrinth and the rest were treasures found from ancient ruins.

"Then, what about you Roro? " ask Arya

"Nothing is interesting to me, but, if you buy me a blue sea pearl that I previously saw as a gift. I will accept it with pleasure" Roro replied blushing in embarrassment.

"Hahh..., why am I the one who has to buy the things you want? " says Arya.

"What did you say? So, you don't want to buy it for me. Ahhhh..!!! " said Roro while intimidating Arya.

"A, I'm just kidding, those pearls are very compatible with your blue hair. If we make it into a necklace, I'm sure it will be a great fit for you. Hahahh hah, I'll buy it later" replied Arya.

"Un un, it's good if you understand." said Roro with a happy smile.

Seeing the small quarrel between the two, Aaron said inwardly.

'I hope you can live your life happily in the future of my miserable friend. Huft... '

Aaron turned his gaze to Timoty, after being satisfied to see Arya's pitiful face.

"What about you Timoty? " ask Aaron.

"I'll buy the old dagger from before" Timoty replied.

"You mean that rusty dagger? Will that thing be useful? " ask Arya

"Either, if I'm lucky, I might obtain a priceless treasure. But, if I'm unlucky, it doesn't matter either, I'll just add it into my collection. So, I have nothing to lose" Timoty replied

"It looks like you've thought about it carefully before making a choice, as expected of Timoty" Arya said

"But, this is quite disappointing. Although there were many good items there, there was not a single Artifact that was auctioned off" Timoty said with a sigh.

"That's a natural thing, the higher-ups of the Arian kingdom must have secured it first. It is impossible for those people to let Artifacts be sold freely in their kingdom" Aaron said.

There was no reply from Alice, only the sound of small breaths of a sleeping person could be heard.

"Oya oya, It seems like our little princess has fallen asleep apparently" said Roro.

"Maybe he was exhausted after a long day of touring the city" Timoty said.

Currently, Alice was sound asleep in her brother's lap, Aaron stroking his head to calm him down.

"He looked very excited before. Since Big Boss has fallen asleep, we should finish this conversation now" Arya said as she stood up from her seat.

"You're right, we might disturb her sleep" Roro said, stroking Alice's head.

"Then, I'll see you tomorrow. Incidentally, I still have an interesting place to visit" Timoty said

After all his friends left, Aaron stood up from his chair and carried Alice to his bed.

Seeing Arya's ridiculous manner, Aaron smiled cunningly.

"Ahhh, right. The secret was related to the surprise gift he prepared for you, forget what you previously heard. I'm sorry Arya, it's my fault" said Aaron looking guilty.

"Surprise gift. Ara~ara, aren't you quite the romantic Arya. I can't wait for the gift you've prepared" Roro said with sparkling eyes.

Arya's words stopped halfway after seeing Roro's happy face.

"A, I'm sure you will love it, hahahh" Arya said with a troubled look.

He turned towards Aaron and looked at him with a vengeance.

But Aaron turned his gaze elsewhere while whistling, he pretended to be unaware of his gaze.

Seeing this, Arya became even more annoyed.

"Stop pretending to whistle, you don't even make any noise out of your mouth, God damn it! " said Arya looking annoyed.

Aaron looked at Arya's face which looked furious in seriousness.

He's trying to act funny right now.

Aaron's stupid behavior made him even more upset.

Timoty who had been watching their behavior could only avert his eyes and try to hold his laughter as hard as he could.

Alice and Roro are also just grimacing when they see Aaron's stupid behavior.

The girl who was playing in the gazebo also felt a gaze from someone towards her.

He turned back and just like before, he saw the silhouette of Aaron walking away.

The brownish-red eyes he had, emitted a lighter color than before.

He muttered in a small voice.

"Aaron... "

After seeing Aaron disappear from his sight, he refocused on the Board Game he was playing.
