The wind rustled as Raa ran in search of something, an evil Mana that did not feel good.
In his opinion, perhaps this was the aura of a demon of a higher level.
During his two-year training with Kagetora, he had never found himself meeting a powerful demon.
Three demons blocked his path. With an unimaginable speed, Raa darted just like that and slashed until the three demons' heads broke almost simultaneously.
"Where? Where's she? He should be around here." His mind is excited and impatient.
His eyes were sharp and could not find him.
Could he be able to move quickly? Or is he good at hiding himself among towering buildings? Raa can't be sure of that.
His body came to a spontaneous halt when he heard a scream from a girl.
Raa changes her running path and not far from there, a little girl in a light blue dress is being bullied by some hungry snakes.
His name was a small child, when in danger they could only scream in fear and whine.
When one of the snakes jumped towards the child, Raa quickly slashed it until the blood poured out.
Likewise with other snakes that try to disturb the cute child.
"Snakes? But they are not just demons. Is this the magic power of the enemy? It looks like he's here." Raa kept thinking of some possibilities and it could have been his correct guess about the existence of demons.
While the boy was still frightened and just sat quietly while crying, it really traumatized him.
As if the wind was piercing his bones, he was now convinced that the demon was here.
His position was on standby and looking around. Raa noticed it but it was too fast that her eyes were wide.
A helping hand with sharp and dirty nails as if never cared for was right on Raa's shoulders as if he wanted to touch it.
"Hm, interesting! You can feel my presence." His voice crept through the air, cold and piercing as if freezing Raa's head.
Accompanied by the hiss of snakes that sounded like the wind rustling between ancient ruins with a tone of creepy and gripping vibration.
Without thinking, Raa turned her body while swinging the sword.
The creature's body became inclined away backwards and jumped upside down.
Gigi Raa growled at the demonic figure she met, different from the others. The demon looks like a queen of snakes with a cobra-shaped magic wand.
He slightly laughed in a mocking tone, "Almost I got hit by that worn-out sword slash."
Raa moved to protect the increasingly frightened little boy.
"Who are you? Are you behind all this?" Raa's hand held her sword tightly.
The female demon laughed gigglingly, "I am Medusa, greetings know!" He saluted.
"I'm here to have a little business with this town, she's too standing so I have to reconstruct all the buildings here a little bit." He said as he slid to and fro like a moving snake.
Raa frowned, "Then you deal with me too!"
Medusa looked at Raa as if it astonished her, "So you mean? I have to fight you? Hey, hey, don't put too much weight on yourself. You're not even a noble or a royal family, can you fight me? I'm not interested in a weakling like you."
Her voice was really like the subconscious was inviting Raa to talk, her hair was raised.
Raa grinned as if she was challenging Medusa, "Alright I understand. So you're actually afraid of losing against a weakling like me, aren't you? Because if you lose, it will lower your pride among the demons."
Medusa was silent among the sizzles of snakes in her hair. The details are a little visible.
"That's so arrogant, accept this! Serpent Magic: Serpents!" Medusa raised her left hand straight ahead and took out several snakes whose length seemed to be infinite.
"Go to safety, little boy! It's dangerous!" pinta Raa on a little boy who just breed it and then run to a safe place behind the building.
Raa who was ready to flow Mana on his body and sword, created a lightning splash.
He moved fearlessly and braved the attacks of the snakes belonging to Medusa.
His hand moved the katana sword as if he was painting some letters.
Raa passed the serpents by leaving slashes that made blood pour. That made Medusa just a fool.
The man jumped up with his patterned black shirt fluttering with the wind.
It charged at Medusa and tried to split her body in two.
Exactly one second before Raa's sword hit Medusa, the snake demon dodged quickly like a shadow by utilizing its skin-changing ability.
Raa was stunned and he was silent for a moment upon landing.
Suddenly Medusa was right behind Raa with her upright body towering like a snake ready to prey.
Raa who noticed it ran constantly to avoid every snake attack that lunged towards her. Because of its strength, Medusa's attack was able to destroy the ground.
As if knowing how to deal with Raa who was relying on melee attacks, Medusa continuously took out more snakes in her hands.
Raa had a little trouble and she seemed to be completely confined in a snake cage.
Raa took a breath and concentrated more in flowing his Mana to be more stable.
When some of Medusa's snakes again attacked Raa, she stopped for a second and lunged while jumping towards the demon.
With her Thunder Blade Dancing, Raa swung and moved like a dance.
Cut into pieces some parts of the snake's body.
This made Medusa even more anxious about Raa's ever-growing level of strength.
Once again, one second before Raa slashed at Medusa. In his cunning way, he dodged in the same way.
Unable to balance his position in the air, when landing Raa slightly fell down. But he can rise quickly.
Her skin-changing ability made Raa exasperated and furious, eager for her to chop up all parts of Medusa's body.
Raa stared intently at Medusa who was now on the roof of one of the buildings.
"Hm, I don't know who you are and where you're from. Maybe I'm a little wrong with you" he said with a dull look.
"I'm not saying that you're strong, but it looks like there's something different about you even though you're a terrible person." Medusa praised but humbled at the end of the word.
"I thought you'd be scared when you see my power, go ahead! I'll serve you!" Raa tried to provoke Medusa's emotions.
Unfortunately Medusa was calm and unemotional, "You don't have to insist on making me angry, after all you will still die in my hands."
"Serpent Magic: The Verdant Gift!"
Medusa waved her cobra-shaped wand as if trying to swallow a glass ball in her mouth.
A green beam radiated and came out several liquid-shaped attacks.
His attacks were slower than the snakes that came out of Medusa's hands.
But Raa did not want to take the risk, because usually the green liquid is poisonous according to his mind.
Raa avoids every liquid. Because it was too much, some liquid splashed a little onto his shirt.
Sure enough, his clothes were burning with acid.
Not only that, it is seen that the liquid above the ground gives off acidic liquid vapors. I can be sure it can be dangerous.
Medusa laughed wickedly, looking at the face of Raa who was subject to her power.
"I don't want to wait a long time, waste of time! Serpent Magic: The Guardian of Serpentium!" exclaimed Medusa called out two snakes that were very large in size, even seeing it only an adult elephant could be wrapped around like a kitten.
Raa was grieving, her every ability was extremely troublesome.
There was no other way for Raa than to pass through the two giant serpents first to reach Medusa.
Even if he could pass through it, Medusa would definitely take out the snakes from her hands.
Not to mention with its acid-like poisonous liquid magic, it would really be difficult to get close to Medusa.
Without thinking, Raa just stepped forward to attack the snakes in front of him.
But unfortunately, just one step Raa moved suddenly she felt intense pain in her lungs like shortness of breath.
Raa fell silent and propped up on the sword she had thrust into the ground.
"What's going on? Why do I feel claustrophobic? Don't-don't.." he thought while enduring the pain.
Medusa laughed out loud, "You just realized it huh? Serpent Magic: Breath of the Basilisk!"
His magic was produced from the breath of the two giant snakes that Medusa had just raised.
His breath littered the air around with poison from every gust, making it difficult for Raa to move.
"Sister!" The little boy called and tried to get closer.
"Don't come out! The air here is poisonous!" he cried at the child who continued to be exposed to fear.
Suddenly Medusa said that made Raa glance at her, "Our ancestors, the Gorgons, were a very beautiful-looking human who could captivate the hearts of men. Even the gods were captivated by her beautiful face. One day, a god approached him. That means that the god has broken a covenant in which the gods can no longer have a relationship with humans. Because it was discovered, then a goddess who was said to be the Goddess of Wisdom cursed him and turned him into a terrible snake man. Later, he was exiled to the place where the Spirit of Darkness, the Basilisk, was located and had to take care of him. That's where many Gorgon races like myself are created."
Raa did not pay much attention to the long story of Medusa because breathing alone was difficult for him.
"Oh, no one cares anyway." Medusa said as if resignedly, "in that case, you'd better just die, boy!"
