Max's Apology

" I want you to be honest with me, who are the men who are in the cafe, club, in the hotel lobby of Kasandra and in the hotel room Kasandra?" max asked curiously while looking at Denisa's face.

Denisa fell silent while trying to think.

Max looked into Denisa's eyes and there was no lie in her eyes.

Half an hour later, Denisa falls asleep and Denisa's cell phone reads, forcing Denisa to open her eyes. Denisa looked at Max with an unbearable look.

" Wake up I've forgiven you as long as you don't do it again" Denisa asked

" Thank you dear." said Max while standing up and smiling happily.

" Stop don't call me baby, get me my phone" Denisa said in a sniffy tone

" All right." said Max resignedly standing up and walking toward the sofa to pick up Denisa's cell phone in Denisa's bag.

Max opens Denisa's bag and picks up Denisa's phone and catches a glimpse of the video call writing "My dear Mommy "Max's eyes are perfectly rounded and with her trembling hands Max gives her phone to Denisa.

Denisa receives her phone from Max's hand, Denisa just like Max her eyes are perfectly rounded when she finds out that her mommy contacted her. Denisa exhaled violently and shifted the green button.

" Hello mommy." call Denisa trying to smile

" Hello baby, how do you sleep?" mommy Laras asked, looking at Denisa in confusion.

" It's not good anymore mom" Denisa told a lie.

" Oh yeah, have you met Max?" ask Mommy Laras

" Max.." Denisa's speech was cut off because Max was next to Denisa and talked to Mommy Laras.

" Hello mommy." call Max while walking and stand next to Denisa.

" Lho Max have you met Denisa?" ask mommy Laras with a surprised face.

" It's mommy." Max replied with a smile

" Max, mommy nitip Denisa huh? because mommy and daddy are away from both of you" said mommy Laras.

" Good mommy, Max promised to look after Denisa" Max said

" Mommy believes in you Max. Oh yeah Denisa when are you coming home baby?" ask mommy Laras

" Two weeks mommy, Denisa's going home to the mansion how are daddy and my sisters all doing?" ask Denisa

" Hall Denisa." greet daddy Alvonso while waving his hand.

" Hello daddy." call Denisa while smiling and reply to the wave of Alvonso's daddy's hand.

" Why is your face pale? are you sick, baby?" daddy Alvonso asked as his eyes looked at Denisa's face.

" It's not feeling well anymore" Denisa told a lie again.

Daddy Alvonso stared at Denisa's face as well as that of Laras' mommy.

" Is that right, dear?" ask mommy Laras and daddy Alvonso

Denisa just turned her face the other way between wanting to be honest or lying.

" Denisa, what's wrong with Max?" ask daddy Alvonso

Denisa and Max look at each other and Denisa sees Max's face as if begging not to say what happened actually makes Denisa exhale violently.

" Mommy and Daddy back then I told you that Denisa's friend had taken our company's money, right?" she asked Denisa to try to remind her parents.

" Well, do we remember, baby?" ask daddy Alvonso and mommy Laras

" Continue?" ask them both in unison

" I chased him into his room and asked for the money he had taken to escape but he didn't want to keep going like that I was fighting and managed to get him battered and I took his wallet." denisa was honest

" You're still hurt?" ask daddy Alvonso

" Alright, but again do that again I won't forgive" Denisa said, closing her eyes.

" Is it still sick?" ask Max

" All right." Denisa replied briefly
