Eps. 9: Princess Palace

Liuli Palace is located to the west of Mingyan Palace, the special palace of the Emperor's private residence aka the palace that Huang Yunxi had entered. Liuli Palace is the special palace of Princess Xiyue's private residence prepared by the late First Queen. The building was grand and beautiful, even more beautiful than the palaces of the concubines and princes of the Hu Dynasty.

According to Huang Yunji, Huang Yunxi had occupied Liuli Palace since the age of seven. The late First Queen purposely placed her there because she knew very well that her daughter would be a different princess than the royal princess in most cases.
