Night Days.

Abay got to his house and went straight into his room

and lay his body in the bamboo-lined wooden amben with his lepek kapuk mattress. Abay keeps thinking of all the words Mayra has that compare her love to Nandini's love.

His daydream stopped as the phone rang,

Abay saw Nandini's name on her cracked phone screen.

Abay lifted it up.

"Hallo"

"Avay..."

"Mm-mm"

"I'm sorry I just called you, I'm sorry I couldn't come to your school today, I'm on family business" Nandini explained.

"No problem" Abay said in a flat tone.

"Well, it's night, go to sleep, Tomorrow I'll meet you at the usual place."

Abay hung up his phone without saying anything.

Abay thought back to her mother's words and Mayra's offer to her. He was really confused to have to choose his love or his ideals.

"Avay..."

Abay who saw Nandini immediately stood up to greet him.

"Nandni.." Abay hugged Nandini for a moment and told her to sit down.
