Dante just got home. The man got out of the car and stepped in a hurry. He's got a map in his hand. Judging from the expression on his face the man was completely unfriendly. It was like there was a big problem going on in his company. Even the welcome greeting spoken by the bodyguard standing at the door was no longer heard.
"Where's Sera?" Dante held back his footsteps when he met the servant who had always been his wife's right hand.
"Miss Sera is in the swimming pool, sir," the maid replied with a bow of respect.
Dante immediately took a quick step towards the swimming pool. The man seemed to have no time. He wanted to quickly meet with Sera.
BYURR
Sera jumped into the pool and the woman swam to the edge. He's still not aware of Dante's presence there. It's supposed to be in the hours now that Dante's still in the company. The man had never come home before.
Dante walked to the edge of the pool. The man stood there while watching Sera with a hateful look.
When he arrived at the edge of the pool, Sera immediately went upstairs. The woman was shocked not to play to see her husband in front of her.
"Dante, are you home? Is it afternoon now?" Sera still can't believe that her husband came home fast.
"There's something I want to talk about" replied Dante. Even the man did not want to look at his wife's face directly.
"What's wrong? Why is your face so serious?" Sera looks confused. He followed Dante who was now walking towards the table. While walking, Sera put on a towel and dried her hair so as not to get cold.
Dante picked up the map he had prepared on the table. The man gave it to Sera.
"What's this?" ask Sera confused. The woman immediately checked the contents inside.
How shocked Sera was when she found out that the contents of the map were divorce papers. His heart was further broken when he saw Dante's signature was clearly displayed there. Her breath feels tight. His lips were hard to get out words again. It felt like the woman wanted to slap her husband so hard. Unfortunately, he could not do it.
"Our marriage is no longer tenable. I'm not happy to marry you. It used to be the only reason I wanted to marry you was because my mom wanted a grandchild and I thought you could give me a child. But until this moment you're not pregnant. So don't blame me if I make the decision to end our marriage" Dante said.
He looks like a very cruel man. But how else. Dante also could not bear to continue his marriage with Sera, because there was not the slightest love in his heart for Sera.
"No. I don't want a divorce from you. I love you so much Dante!" shouted Sera. The woman immediately tore the divorce papers and threw them into the pool.
"Is it because that woman you want to go back to her, isn't it?" shouted Sera.
"This has nothing to do with Tiffany. All this time I had this marriage because of my mother's request. Even before Tiffany came back into my life, I couldn't bear to live with you."
"Now I want to ask you, how can I get pregnant if you never touch me? Do you think the fetus could have appeared on its own in my womb? Dante, please don't be like this. We can still have another choice. We're gonna fix our marriage. We must be a harmonious family so that we can immediately get offspring. I promise I'll turn into a good wife according to what you want. But please don't leave me."
Sera held Dante's hand. The woman began to shed tears. He did not care if he had to lower his pride. The important thing is that Dante did not divorce her.
"Enough, Sera! You can find a much better man than me. I will never be able to make you happy."
"No, Dante! It's not like that. I am so happy to be your wife. All this time I've never complained about your cold demeanor because I hope that someday you can change and become the husband I dreamed of."
"Unfortunately your dream will never come true. Didn't I tell you from the beginning of our marriage that in my heart there's only the name Tiffany. The woman's name will never be replaced by another woman. But you don't seem to care and still want to continue this marriage. Now don't blame me if I give up in the end. I will give up this house to be your home. From this moment on I will no longer be a resident of this house. I'll ask my lawyer to take care of our divorce proceedings."
Dante wanted to leave Sera immediately but Sera quickly pulled the man's hand.
"Please, Dante. Don't leave me. Forever this house will belong to both of us" Sera said again.
Dante violently threw Sera's hand until the woman fell on the floor. Even so, he still does not care if his wife is injured.
Sera wiped away the tears that had soaked her cheeks. The woman stood on the edge of the pool while staring intently at Dante who was getting further away.
"Dante, if I can't be your wife anymore then I don't want to live in this world anymore. I'm gonna jump into this pool and die by drowning. I'd rather die than have to part with you" Sera threatened. The woman has no other choice at this time than to threaten Dante.
"As far as you are Sera. But whatever you do I no longer care about you!" dante shouted so that Sera could hear him.
"I'm not kidding, Dante. I'm gonna jump right now!"
Dante twisted his body. The man wanted to walk away. Suddenly, he heard the sound of someone jumping into the pool. Dante held back his footsteps while firmly clenching his hands. He knew that Sera was a desperate woman. The woman must have dared to do anything as long as she could get what she wanted.
"I'm sorry, Sera. But we better be apart. That way you can find your own happiness." Dante continued his footsteps leaving the house without caring about the state of Sera who had just jumped into the pool to commit suicide.
