The Heir of Science

The Heir of Science
Birth of a baby

A middle-aged woman came out of the room.

“How could my son have been born safely,” asked Kuncoro who came to Minah.

“Happy Kuncoro your son was born healthy,” said Mbah Minah who smiled to Kuncoro.

Kuncoro went straight into his room and saw his wife lying limp with a baby boy beside her.

Kuncoro came to his wife and held a boy.

“Finally 10 years I look forward to the presence of a child,” Kuncoro said as he looked at the face of the child he was carrying.

“Iya Mas, finally our wait for 10 years is fruitful,” sahut Lastri wife from Kuncoro.

“Iya Lastri I've been waiting for the presence of this child to be able to inherit my knowledge,” said Kuncoro.

“But Mas, I do not want if the black magic you have is bequeathed to our child,” said Lastri who opposed.

“Cannot this black magic has been inherited seven derivatives from my ancestors, this child is the last descendant who can close this science if not then the offspring of this child whose child continues it and closes it, he said,” Kuncoro explained to Lastri.

Lastri can only sigh long in fact he does not want if the child is led to continue the black magic Kuncoro. But Lastri was unable to do anything he just fell silent while looking at Kuncoro who was hugging his son.

“Lastri this child will be named Prayoga Kuncoro,” said Kuncoro who gave his son to the Wife.

After that Mbah Minah has prepared a jug in which there is ari-ari the baby, the jug is wrapped in a white cloth.

Kuncoro came out of his room to visit Minah's altar in the kitchen, which was preparing everything.

“Kuncoro, this is your son's ari-ari you should bury this ari-ari first tonight. And also your son will later be a brave child and have a very good aura,” pekik mbah Minah.

“Iya mbah I know, this child has a very good energy because it coincides with his own birth on the night of one suro, I will teach this child to be a great child later to be greater than his Father,” said Kuncoro.

Mbah Minah just smiled hearing the words from Kuncoro.

“Good then Kuncoro, quickly bury your child if you linger in the grave creatures will target it later,” Mbah Minah who gave the pitcher in her hand to Kuncoro.

“Iya mbah,” sahut who welcomed the jug.

Kuncoro also came out of his house while carrying a jug containing ari-ari and also hoe to dig the ground.

Kuncoro looked for a suitable place to bury the ari-ari and finally he got a suitable place next to his house.

A few minutes later, in the sense that the hole Kuncoro dug was deep enough in his opinion, he took a pitcher that was beside him.

The pitcher containing the ari-ari of his son was placed in the hole he had made and buried.

After completing the burial Kuncoro gave kerosene lamps made of glass boto and stove wicks. The lamp was turned on by Kuncoro and then placed in the grave ari-ari then after that Kuncoro cover back with a bucket on top of which he has been hollowed.

Turning on kerosene lamps or other lighting for up to 35 days in a row and according to belief it aims to provide hope of illumination in the life of the baby in the future.

After all had been completed by Kuncoro, he went back into his house.

After entering his house, Kuncoro also delivered Mbah Minah home.

Kuncoro went into his room and said goodbye to his wife.

“Lastri I want to take Mbah Minah home,” Kuncoro said.

“Iya Mas, be careful,” sahut Lastri.

Before Kuncoro left he reached into something in his pants pocket, after Kuncoro got two objects, namely folding scissors and safety pins, both objects were given to his wife Lastri.

“Lastri take both of these objects put under the pillow Yogo, evil spirits are very afraid of sharp objects and can protect Yoga,” Kuncoro orders to Lastri.

Lastri obeyed what Kuncoro had ordered.

After that Kuncoro went out of the house to deliver Mbah Minah home on her motorcycle.

“Let's take me home,” said Kuncoro who was already in front of the terrace of his house.

“Iya Kuncoro,” sahut mbah Minah riding the Kuncoro motor sitting at the back.

After that Kuncoro also turned on his motorbike and turned it to the house of Mbah Minah.
