Sleeps

After the friendly moment that happened a moment ago, the atmosphere became awkward. Mary's feelings between happiness and shame. Happy to meet his girlfriend again. Shame because she's like a woman doesn't know herself. Maybe she acted so bravely making out with other men even though she was still a wife. She realized what she was doing was wrong, but the feeling in her heart could not be contained that she missed her lover so much.

Dev smiled gently at Maria looking down with a blushing face. He seems to be going back in time. Where the girl also reacted the same after they made a friendly fondling. Stretched out her hand, raising Maria's face to look back at her.

"Why you?"

Not immediately answering, Maria turned her gaze in another direction.

"Me, it's okay."

"It turns out you're still the same as you used to be Maria. But that's what I like about you."

Stunned by Dev's words, Maria looked back at him.

"I like seeing you like that. On the one hand you're shy, but on the other you're very brave."

Both of Mary's eyebrows were linked, trying to digest the words of her lover which she did not understand.

"Oh, forget it. I have something to ask." Dev began to look serious as his smile began to disappear.

"What do you want to ask?" maria asked, suddenly Dev's attitude seemed hesitant. Opening her lips and then pursing her lips again.

"Already, how many times have you done that? I mean, how many times has he done that to you?" Dev asked unhappily

"One time." Mary answered with a bow, the memory as if repeated, when her husband was so frightening and violently took away his honor. Both of Mary's hands were tightly clasped, and as much as possible she held back the tears that wanted to fall from the corner of her eyes.

"In the evening after the reunion. He's so angry, he's jealous to see us kiss."

"So yeah, it's only fitting that he didn't pay me any heed when I greeted him."

"I'm sorry. Sorry for making you fall in love with me. I really don't know myself, I've dragged you into my life Dev."

"What are you talking about, Maria? It's not your fault I fell in love with you. We never know what will happen in the future. Sorry, I asked you that. It's nothing, I just want to make sure, after going through the days with her, do you have no taste for her?"

Dev's question made Maria startled, reflexively raising her face, looking at Dev who was looking at her heartily.

"That can't be Dev. I've been married to him just to help him."

"Helped him?"

"He's insomnia, he can't sleep if no one's hugging him. So I'm.."

Mary did not continue her words, as if Dev already knew what she wanted to say.

"Now I understand. Sorry, I didn't listen to your explanation."

"It's okay Dev, it's all over. But, how do you know where I am."

Flashbacks

"Am I just calling her, but.."

Sighing roughly, he walked over to the car parked in his yard. Dev drives his car quickly to where his best friend lives.

Just as he was almost there, his eyes caught his best friend's luxury car out of the gate. Soon he drove his car quickly to follow where the car was going.

The car stopped in front of the cafe. Dev was curious that he entered the cafe. Until his eyes widened when he found his lover who stood and sang on the stage.

"Marya."

But his attention turned towards Jo who was sitting at the table quite close from the stage. Dev sees his smiling best friend looking up at his singing girlfriend. Seemed so happy, yet he also saw a deep sadness from his eyes.

Dev who happens to be wearing a hoodie jacket immediately covers his head with his jacket hat. Look at her boyfriend who is still singing. A smile was engraved on his lips, his heart touched listening to the song sung by the lover. It was as if the song was dedicated to him.

"I have to go immediately." Jo who memorized the hours of his wife's return home, he rushed away, but before he left, a loud applause dominated the room for a moment of silence because all visitors lived the song that was sung by Mary.

Jo who was curious by someone, he tried to find out, but unfortunately the visitor was standing quite far in the corner of the room, especially his face which was not clearly visible because of the hat of the jacket that covered his head.

Jo got up from the chair, walked out of the cafe. Without him noticing, someone looked towards him as he walked away from the room.

Flashback end

"You know, the clapping was me."

"So, it's you Dev."

Dev smiled knot.

"But why are you looking for him?"

Suddenly Dev's smile faded.

"There's something I want to ask her about your relationship. But it seems like next time, because now I want to spend time with my girlfriend." Dev smiled again as he gently pinched the tip of Maria's nose. "It's night, we better get some sleep."

"Hmmm.."

"Mary, can I stay the night?"

"You, you wanna sleep here? But the room is small."

"No problem. What matters is that I can be with you."

Mary stood up, followed by Dev behind her. They went into the room. Mary's heart is pounding, tonight they will sleep together.

Dev takes off his jacket and hangs it on a hanger. Maria was wearing pajamas. They lay their bodies in bed. Maria rests her head on her lover's arms. Dev immediately pulled Maria into his arms. Without any hesitation, Mary pressed one of her hands against the waist of her lover.
