The sound of cheers echoed in the terrain all over the sky, the troops in the front row had managed to dominate the battle, the, the chaotic enemy formations and logistical supplies that were taken over left the soldiers of the Three Kingdoms Alliance with no resistance whatsoever.

"We're surrendering!"

"Punish us...."

The desperate soldiers began to lay down their weapons, although they did not know what was going to happen to him but it was better than having to die.

The soldiers were stripped of their equipment and led to the camp, a great fear clearly visible on their faces.

"What are you going to do to us?"

"Are we going to be executed?"

One of the soldiers asked the camp guards, his facial expression like he already had no spirit of life.

"The punishment we will give you depends on the Emperor's decision!"

"And for as long as it lasts you are under our watch!"

The camp guard replied calmly, he did not mean to intimidate the soldiers who had lost their spirit.

Then the prisoners of war entered the camp which was heavily guarded by Imperial troops.

Inside a tent was a man sitting with his whole body bound, the man was a former leader of the Alliance forces who had been captured.

"All right now tell me what purpose you're attacking us for!?"

The Sigma standing before him gave a question to the man, with a sharp gaze and a powerful killing aura.

Chum....

"Do you think I'll answer?"

"Death to you son of a bitch!!!"

The man spat at Sigma and refused to answer his question, with a haughty face he tried to rebel.

"Hoo?"

As if not satisfied with the answer from him, Sigma stretched his fingers, sharp nails immediately grew, then Sigma tightened his palms and aimed at the man.

"I asked again, who ordered you!"

"Hmmmp, that's free!"

"Khaha....."

The man still refused to tell Sigma the mastermind behind all this, but just after he finished talking suddenly Sigma thrust his finger into the palm of the man so firmly that he decided the index finger to the right of the man.

As soon as the man screamed strongly from the wound he received, blood began to flow out from the cut of the finger.

"Damn you!!!"

"My finger!!!"

But the man remained reluctant to tell Sigma, and instead berated him.

"Alright if you want to play then I will serve you with pleasure!!"

"Huua....."

Sigma again thrust his finger into the man's hand, now the middle finger and ring finger are cut off simultaneously.

"Fuck, I promise I'll kill you!!"

"Khhaa...."

The man was still stubborn and reluctant to confess, Sigma became more serious about torturing him.

"How long will you last!"

"Huua....."

Sigma continued to disconnect one by one the man's fingers, even after all the fingers of the ladder were gone, Sigma did not stop tormenting him.

"Khhhh....."

"Agghhh...."

The man groaned in pain withholding the wound, biting his lip until it bled to maintain his consciousness.

"You know, the human brain has limits in terms of excitability!"

"How hard you try to endure the pain in your body, your brain won't be able to contain it!"

"Khaha....."

Sigma clasped the man's wrist and broke it, the loud sound of a broken bone sounded extremely terrifying.

The man thrashed with immense pain, Sigma did not stop tormenting him until he confessed.

"Who sent you?!!"

"I-I don't know!"

Sigma again broke the man's wrist, slowly the haughty attitude on him began to fade due to endless torment.

"We were ordered to attack only!"

The man answered Sigma's question with stammering, sweat pouring down his body and his breathing becoming breathless.

"Who sent you?!!"

Sigma continued to break every inch of the man's bones until he actually got the real answer from the man.

Tears poured down his face, his haughty attitude instantly collapsed, now he looked like a child.

The torture continued until the man had lost his temper, he just stared at Sigma blankly.

"Kill me...."

The man could no longer do anything, sooner or later he would die, so he asked Sigma to kill him so that he would be freed from this suffering.

"Let me die...."

With all the energy he had, the man kept asking Sigma to kill him right then and there, he could no longer endure this suffering.

His entire bones were broken, his legs and hands were cut into pieces, blood flowing too much to make his skin pale.

Sigma looked at him without saying anything, then he put his index finger right on the man's chest and slowly thrust it in.

The sharp nails tore the man's flesh slowly, as the man spewed blood from his mouth, feeling death slowly and severely tormented.

Finally the man's heart rate stopped, his consciousness slowly dissipated, and his facial expression looked extremely terrifying.

Then Sigma came out of the tent and turned into a wolf, before long came General Vritra with his dragon form.

"How did it go?!"

As Vritra slowly turned back into a human, he asked Sigma about his interrogation of the prisoners.

"There's nothing we can get!"

"Hmmm..."

Sigma also told him that they had not been able to get important information about their true purpose of attacking the Empire.

"But you don't have to worry, I told Delta to investigate this matter!"

"I understand!"

Sigma tells Delta and his team to infiltrate enemy territory, Sigma entrusts this mission to him because of Delta's very capable abilities.

In a region called Cornevest that became the headquarters of the Three Kingdoms Alliance, Delta and his subordinates infiltrated the castle.

While they were inside the castle, there were several guard soldiers watching along the passageway, seeing that Delta was giving a signal to his subordinates to stop.

Then Delta ordered his subordinates to split up into teams, leaving only himself and a man who had drenched him.

They continued to search room after room for information, Delta and Gilbert Gervaso wanted to infiltrate a room, but outside there were two guards who were on standby to watch the situation around.

"Ready!"

Delta told Gilbert to eliminate the guards, swiftly slipping towards them.

Gilbert stretched his fingers, from behind his right palm came a small dagger very quickly.

On the blade of the belsti was a purple-colored liquid dripping down, it was likely a poison that lubricated his dagger.

In the blink of an eye Gilbert stabbed the guards right in the neck, the two men were killed instantly in his hands.

Then Gilbert stretched back his finger, the dagger behind his palm was immediately pulled into the sleeve of his suit very quickly.

It was a weapon named Hidden Blade, this weapon was used by almost all Assassins led by Delta.

"Good!"

They dragged the bodies into the room, and Delta and Gilbert came out wearing guard uniforms.

Delta and Gilbert were both walking down the hallway like normal people, no one suspected them because the uniforms they wore were the same as the people there.

"Our army has been defeated!"

They entered a meeting room of the top brass of the Alliance, there were several people gathered in the room.

Delta and Gilbert stood by the door like guards, silently listening to their conversation.

"It's useless!!"

"What are these fools doing!"

One of the higher-ups became very angry after learning that his army had been defeated.

"We need to change our strategy!"

"Right, if it continues like then our position will be cornered!"

The higher-ups were arguing with each other about the strategy they had devised to fight the Empire.

"We're going to lure the Empire's troops here and invade their territory through the west side!"

"Wait, do you think we can hold it?"

"They're too many!"

One of them gave an input on their strategy, allowing the Imperial forces to fight in the Alliance territory would make the Empire's defense decrease, as most of its forces had been deployed to conquer the Alliance.

It was the perfect time to invade the Empire's territory from another direction, but the problem was whether they could attack while defending their territory from enemy attacks.

"No problem, we can use the civilians as a backup force!"

"But, they have no combat experience, nor do we have time to train them!"

Some of the officials still doubt the effectiveness of the strategy.

"There's no other way!"

"We must take control of their territory before they conquer us!"

This strategy has the concept of who is the fastest to control the enemy territory, then that is who wins.

"I agree with you!"

"Me too!"

After a long debate, they finally agreed to the strategy, and the meeting was over, the higher-ups left the room.

The other Assassins still continued to infiltrate the entire room, they were divided into several teams of two.

An Assassin who had slipped into a room killed the guards in the room, they saw three people who were all tied up, one of them a man and the other two women.

The captives thrashed to see the Assassin before them, their mouths covered with cloth so they could not shout.

One of the Assassins cut the cloth covering the man's mouth, instantly the man pleaded with a frightened face.

"I am the king of the Kingdom of Oswaden!"

"We were captured and held hostage!"

The man explained the situation to them hurriedly, his facial expression looking extremely frightened.

Then one of the Assassins made eye contact with his partner, quickly leaving to find Delta.

"Wait a minute!"

The assassin told them to remain calm while waiting for Delta to arrive, after a while Delta finally arrived.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you!"

"Just tell me everything!"

Delta immediately interrogated the man, while the others watched the surroundings.

"They have deceived us!"

"Actually we don't want to fight against the Empire!"

"But they rejected it and overthrew us!"

The man said everything that happened to Delta, that the masterminds behind this attack were the coup plotters.

"Is your word trustworthy?"

"I swear by my whole soul and body!"

"Please, save us!"

The man continued to beg Delta to save her, judging by her facial expression it seemed that the man was not lying.

"Gilbert!"

"Find another prisoner!"

"Possibly there's more here!"

"I understand!"

Then Delta tells Gilbert and the others to search for the remaining hostages, in hopes of getting more information.

"All right, I accept your request!"

"But on condition that you should surrender to the Dragon Empire!"

"Okay, I promise!"

Eventually Delta untied them, then he had one of his subordinates deliver the message to the Empire.

On the other hand the troops were still resting while celebrating their victory in this battle.

"Sigma, I've come with a message!"

"Hmm?"

Someone came to meet Sigma while he was in the tent, he was an Assassin sent by Delta to convey a message.

"Say!"

"This war is not over!"

"The Alliance is preparing a strategy to lure us into their territory!"

"Then they will invade the Empire from the west!"

The assassin said everything to Sigma, as soon as his facial expression turned very serious.

"Well good work, please pass this on to General Vritra and Alpha as well!"

"Ready!"

After that Sigma told the Assassin to go see Alpha and General Vritra.

"Hmmm, there really is something strange about this battle!"

"There's no way they've deployed all of their combat power!"

General Vritra who had just heard the news realized something, he was already suspicious of the current situation.

"We can't get into their trap!"

"General Vritra, order the troops to return at this very moment!"

"We will protect the Empire from enemy invasion!"

"I understand!"

With immediately the Empire withdrawing its entire army to return, their top priority was to defend the capital from enemy attacks.

"Everything's back!"

"The enemy will attack the capital!"

General Vritra immediately told his entire army to leave immediately, it took them about two days to arrive at the Empire, perhaps they still had as little time to prepare.

However, it was unexpected that the Alliance forces had advanced first towards the west, with a large number of them about to invade the Empire within a few hours, and so the great battle will begin soon.
