The Garden of Heaven

The Garden of Heaven
Part 8's

Malioboro night is very crowded, the buyers meet the stalls of the traders who sell there. Escorted by Fikri, Einsteina and Vivian walked around hunting for nyeleneh items that Fikri thought were unimportant. Starting from skull-shaped key chains, brooches from coconut shells, t-shirts with andong images, to character flip-flops. The two even bought a sweet arum hawker sold by an old grandfather on the side of the road in the bull Vredeburg.

Fikri as the troublesome bodyguard. He had to bring the girls groceries while following the two here and there. Soon he could breathe a sigh of relief when Einstein complained of hunger, then walked up to the chicken satay trader who was squatting in front of the throat and filled with his merchandise, and then walked up to the chicken satay trader who was squatting in front of the throat, while occasionally fanning charcoal on the burner by using a fan made of woven bamboo.

"Two servings made one budhe, use five lontong." His words were greeted by the smile of budhe sate seller sumpringah, then he sat down selonjor watching budhe who was fanning satay on charcoal with enthusiasm.

"Two made one? Keep me what dong." Vivian protested who understood Einsteina's portion of the meal. Even though the thin body is so, about eating portions of Einsteina beat her, Lolita even Albert. Until Vivian was astonished, where did a pile of food that always entered into the stomach of Einsteinina, while the body of his best friend never showed the slightest additional fat. The very thing that Lolita, their best friend, envied. The most popular girl in school who always keeps her food portions tight in order to stay slim.

"Yes order yourself dong, elo will eat with me. That's romantic." Said nosy.

"My neighbor shakes it. One more serving of budhe." Vivian mimicked the call of Einsteina to the satay seller. "Give up about the same food elo same as I should be ready not to go, you will be greedy." Reciprocity.

"Einstein kept the dragon in his stomach, if at home only the food rations of the people of one house would be spent alone." Fikri timpal who still stands beside Einsteina who was sitting selonjor, with his hands still carrying groceries dominated by Vivian's belongings. Einstein did not like shopping.

Suddenly Fikri's phone rang loudly. While Einsteina and Vivian were waiting for their satay, Fikri was busy picking up the phone with a serious look.

"We need to get home soon, girls. Just now Abah called, Kyai Jalaludin passed away. We all have to come right now." Fikri said after her phone connection was cut off.

"Who is Kyai Jalaludin?" Einstein asked cuek, the order is ripe. He gladly received a package of oil paper containing thirty chicken skewers and four sliced pennies, with peanut sauce on it that seemed tempting to enjoy immediately.

"Well, Gus Hasan."

"Who is Gus Hasan?" this time Vivian asked.

"Pay the satellite, Mas!" Einteina exclaimed, making Fikri come back while reaching into her pants pocket.

After traveling for approximately one hour, finally two cars from Jogja the group entered the village of Kembanglimus, Magelang regency. A white Montero car consisting of Romo Abdurrahman, Kyai Abdul Fatah, Eyang Aisyah, and Umi Salamah, with Fikri as the driver, he walked through the uphill road to the Al Furqon boarding gate which already looked high up from a distance. Meanwhile a black Toyota Crown Royal Saloon driven by Lukman along with Einsteina and Vivian appeared to be walking behind him.

Unexpectedly, in a plateau surrounded by a thick pedestal, and this narrow uphill road there is a building with an area almost twice that of the Miftahul Ulum pesantren. The night view looks gloomy from behind the car glass all the way in the village of Kembanglimus. There is no lighting at all, only the highlight of the car lights that become the only lighting of the trip. The trees on the left-right grew close and large with wild shrubs that spread around it displacing a mystical atmosphere.

After entering the Al Furqon boarding gate guarded by several sons, the two cars stopped right in front of the crowded ndalem family residence. All got out of the car with Einsteina walking the very back while stumbling.

A very thick atmosphere of grief enveloped the Al Furqon pesantren. The santri looked back and forth, some were transporting chairs, installing lights, carrying large tubs of preparation to bathe the corpse, some were rolling out wide carpets. Some are reading tahlil and yasinan together in the living room.

Upon entering the ndalem family yard, Kyai Abdul Fatah, Romo Abdurrahman, Lukman, and Fikri broke away by walking in the courtyard to the living room to join the students who were reading the word, and then they walked away, while Eyang Aisyah with Umi Salamah led Einsteina and Vivian who had since walked the back to the middle room. The middle room is very crowded, crowded by the princess who is also reading tahlil together led by a young girl in purple hijab.

Their presence apparently provoked the attention of all those in the room, most of them standing together and kissing the hands of Eyang Aisyah and Umi Salamah with reverence. Einstein, who was initially sleepy, was instantly fit, as his body was pushed by those who were fighting for hands with the two women beside him. Angrily he grabbed Vivian's hand which was also pressed by them, then dragged her out.

They walk in silence while enjoying the cold night air. Unknowingly the two were already in the side courtyard shady by the trees. The spacious courtyard which became the distance between the late ndalem Kyai Jalaludin with the dormitory of the princess cottage looked dim, the lighting only came from the spotlight of the lights from the glass window of the living room that stretched large without curtains. Einsteina's footsteps suddenly came to a halt, her mouth agape as her eyes caught the figure inside there. Vivian who was beside him frowned in surprise, then her eyes followed Einsteina's gaze. In the living room, a white-shopped figure invited Kyai Abdul Fatah and his family with a grim face.

Only God and Einstein knew that it was this figure that had been approaching Einstein's dreams.
