40: Shields

Chiara, Azusa, and Chloe stopped flying when they felt an immense pressure. I don't know what they are feeling at the moment but this pressure feels very heavy even though they have gone far from the village of Helaria, both of Azusa's eyes could see from a great distance and even her eyesight could reach the village of Helaria and she could see the Roboten that raged and destroyed the land several times.

"It's bad... Azusa's system has just told Azusa that all the robots, Android, and Technoven Angels from each city have merged into one so as to create one perfect robot named Roboten. The power is so strong that even the sun gives the robot its power." Azusa said, she was eager to help Asuka but Chloe grabbed her hand to stop herself as they were already on a journey quite far from Helaria.

"Your brother will be furious if you come back, Azusa. We better use this opportunity to search for that trial temple...!" Chloe exclaimed, Azusa nodded then they continued their journey towards the trial temple without looking back, Chiara took out three benevolent flowers that were still shining but one of them started to lose its light and the light was white coming out of the jasmine flower.

"Melantha was really working hard, the light that this rose virtue had started to disappear, it meant that she was planning something big. He was really careless to exert all his strength in order to create such a powerful magic but that carelessness could at least save all the Angels who were there." Chiara flutters her wings and flies rapidly westward, Chloe and Azusa begin to follow her as Chiara has just told herself that the temple is near.

On the other hand, Akina could no longer fight because of her limp body when using too much of her Fallen Angel form, she said, Robotens launch several attacks towards the mainland to try to injure the entire angel but they manage to avoid it so that the red waves coming out of Roboten start to greet them and injure them quite badly. 

Asuka tries to attack Roboten by launching several attacks using both of his katanas but his attacks do not give any effect so Roboten moves fast enough until he launches an attack that hits Asuka and throws her into the backside. Melantha who was in the air looked frightened because Roboten had enormous power and speed.

"Like!!!" Akina tries to get to Asuka but Roboten grows a tail and manages to hit Akina until she is thrown backwards, Keiko orders his entire army to attack simultaneously but they all end up getting hit. Robots can attack using anything they have, especially the large cables they can create and plus their tails that can grow again and again.

"Likes..." Akina crawled towards Asuka who was quite badly injured, Asuka can see Roboten trying to step on Akina but she saves herself by pulling her body back and they simultaneously fly towards Roboten to launch a combination attack, the attack they did was fast enough to even evade the Roboten cable which he launched several attacks on Asuka and Akina.

"Akina, use a combination attack!" Asuka releases some rose petals that attempt to injure Roboten but the entire rose ends up withering until Asuka's combination attack cannot injure her but instead makes the two swords that Asuka holds become withered, "Asuka ka--- Uwaaaaa..."

Asuka was thrown backwards while receiving some attacks from the cable that appeared behind the Roboten, Akina felt very upset until she tried to transform back into her Fallen Angel form but failed, she said, at least he can use both spears of his heavenly virtue and successfully injure the Roboten. 

The wound given by Akina was still not enough so Roboten launched a golden wave through his mouth and hit Akina until he was thrown backwards, there is no hope of victory or survival as the entire population of Angels trying to create his shield ends up crushed with a single stomp from the foot of the Roboten so big and hard.

"So soon. Come on. I can..." Melantha's two arms started to shake, though, he felt guilty when he saw some Angels who fought hard to stop Roboten while he was only in the air from the beginning while gathering all his strength and energy to release the jasmine magic strong, at least he can help after all he collected it has been completed.

Roboten stepped on land several times using both feet so that the land began to crack and disintegrate and release hot lava, Roboten also had time to step on several Angels who tried to create a shield but failed. Soon Melantha could feel her body that would feel light as she would use all the power of the jasmine flower.

Chiara saw a statue that had the appearance of Rosalia, she finally found a hideout from the temple because she could see the statue of Rosalia. Chiara immediately descended from the sky and stared at the statue, Azusa and Chloe began to land behind Chiara and even Azusa hugged the statue, "Mama~ Mama~"

"Come, come in." Chiara pulled the arm of the statue, the underground door began to open wide and they immediately entered into the very dark basement. Chiara and Azusa can see inside the dark room because they are angels whereas Chloe is a Legend but she can use light magic easily so they enter the basement that's it safe.

On the other hand, the village of Helaria was currently already a sea of fire and even Roboten was completely raging until he sacrificed an awful lot of souls, Melantha widened her eyes as she felt her body begin to be filled with a white light, the petals of the jasmine flower even detached from the inside of his body so that the smell of jasmine it could be smelled all over the region including the city of Technoven, Rosalia could smell the smell of jasmine is quite fragrant.

"Use this last plan, Asuka!" Melantha flutters her wings and darts towards Roboten and Roboten can see her and launches several attacks, but Melantha manages to dodge all of them easily, Melantha pointed at Roboten using both of her treads which released jasmine flowers so that Roboten's body could not move for a moment as the sacred jasmine flowers enveloped her body.

Sage was stunned when he saw Roboten's body not waving the jasmine flower, Melantha floated right before him while closing her eyes quietly, Asuka and Akina could see Melantha trying to do something, melantha's body began to tremble full of power even jasmine flowers began to move around her and gave herself immense strength.

"Just be free, Guardian!!! Robots will be waving jasmine and your self is reckless!!!" Exclaiming the Sage violently, Roboten immediately held tightly onto Melantha's body and tried to destroy her, Melantha could not feel anything as her body was currently filled with the jasmine power of her virtue that could enhance her defense, "Your chance of survival is now zero!!!"

"It's not all about numbers!!! It's all about family!!!" The land began to return to help the original land so that Asuka and Akina could see large jasmine flowers that began to grow, Akina can train the opportunity and he immediately pulled out his power tool and tried to injure Roboten but the stick was not effective.

"Dam... Asuka, this tool is useless!" Akina.

"No, don't think about it! Melantha!!! Release, Melantha!!!" Asuka exclaimed loudly so that Melantha refused because the magic that she had planned from the beginning was going to happen in this place, right now. He would not waste his great opportunity so Melantha managed to free herself from Melantha's grasp.

"I am an Angel!!! A Guardian who will protect my own entire nation!!!" Melantha exclaimed loudly, she began to raise her arms up so that the jasmine flowers began to grow and ate the entire angel including Akina and Asuka, that jasmine flower could be called as a protector for them and that protector was extremely strong.

"T-No... Melantha.!"'s chat...!" Akina was surprised when she saw Melantha who started to drip some blood from her body, she could still see Melantha from some of the jasmine crevices, it seemed like the jasmine he created was truly a very safe haven.

Asuka and Akina could see Melantha and Roboten's body slowly turning into jasmine flowers, Melantha closed her eyes to recall her adventures with Asuka and her friends, today and in this region, he will be a protector for all of them, his way of sacrificing himself and casting a powerful jasmine magic by killing himself.

"Family is power! Determination is the bearer of victory!!! The Shield of Virtues' Jasmine!!!" Melantha exclaims loudly so that her body turns into jasmine and half of Roboten's body turns into jasmine, Sage is shocked when he sees a notice that Roboten cannot move because of his already-turned-jasmine body.

"Yetoooooooooo....!!!"
