Happy News

Two weeks later...

My head hurts so much. Suddenly I have a toothache too. Somehow all the muscles in my body seemed to be tensed in unison. I can't move as fast as usual. And now I'm waiting for the results of the doctor's examination of me. I was laid in a hospital bed, of course with Jake accompanying me.

Two weeks after the wedding it was peaceful. Jake asked me to stay in the apartment. He doesn't allow me to work. And yes, my new assignment as a housewife started a week ago. I also started cleaning the house. But it's not as tired as Jake always comforts me. Every time he would come home from the office he called and asked me what he wanted to bring. Just remember that makes me happier. Jake has kept his promise.

"How, Doc?"

Jake is with the doctor who handled the entrance to this examination room. The doctor then examined my eyes and throat. He then issued us the results of the laboratory tests.

"Master, it seems like good news is with you. Lady Lilia is pregnant. It's been two weeks."

And that's what the doctor told us. Jake and I were shocked for a moment. We finally got this happy news too.

"Oh my God, so???" Jake looked in disbelief. He rubbed his head.

The doctor who handled me nodded. "This is the result. But there may be something even happier" the doctor said, handing us the lab results.

"What, Doc?" me and Jake together.

The doctor smiled looking at us in unison. "The egg was successfully fertilized by two male cells. It looks like Mr and Mrs will be awarded twins" the doctor said.

"What?!!" Jake and I were surprised not to play.

What a joy this heart is. It turns out we're going to be awarded twins. I wanted to cry because I still could not believe this news. Because before we had trouble conceiving. But hopefully the gift really gets to us.

Nine months later...

The operating light was turned on by the team of doctors who were handling me. All medical equipment has also been sterilized. It seems that happiness will soon be complete with the presence of our baby. Jake was ready to accompany this labor process. He was wearing the same clothes as the doctor. Green color with a head covering overlaying.

"Please pray, Mr. Madam. The operation will begin." The doctor gave us a warning.

I smiled, nodding. Jake held my hand tightly. He looks very pale. He sat behind me after my body was fully sedated. The air hose and heart rate checker were connected to my body. Until I finally heard Jake start to hold tightness in his chest. Maybe he was looking forward anxiously to the presence of our baby.

"Lilia, I love you. Struggle. I'm by your side." Jake strengthens.

I heard a baby cry shortly. Her crying was so loud. Jake heard it too. He wants to see it. But the doctors asked him to stay by my side. The doctor finally showed us.

"Congratulations, Sir, Madam. Both babies are healthy and safe."

And finally, I really got that happiness. The doctor asked me to see both of our babies. However, since the anesthetic was so fast functioning, I could only glance towards them. And I saw all his hair was black. Praise God I bring to life the Creator.
