001 - ENDING A LONG WAR

The war is not over. Neither side wants to give up. Countless casualties have fallen. Everyone feels they are the most right.

As Andreas Benedicto thought about it while sitting on his throne. There was something that disturbed him since the war that occurred hundreds of years was endless.

“How do I end this war, William?” ask the advisor.

Andreas Benedicto was a king of vampires who dominated the world, where at that time vampires were the most powerful demon race among other races, while their enemies were humans.

“Hundred years of this war began, and to this day no one wants to budge each other. If I give up, someone will take advantage of that,”.

“For what do you want to give up on those humans? We are the most powerful demon race, the other demon races are subject to us, why are we subject to humans?” william asked, reminding Andreas of the real events.

Andreas took a breath, he stood up from his seat, walking towards the window of the palace which immediately showed the surroundings of his country.

From there he could see his dark and arid country, its population was not minded, the life was messy and controlled. It was not the result of war, because from the beginning of the lives of the demons it was like that.

However, the more time the population of the country is declining, because many die in the battlefield, therefore in the near future it must be reduced drastically.

The same thing actually happens in the world of humans, life is not much different, only that is the impact of the war that occurred.

Moreover, human strength was not as great as the demons, only they were the most persistent race to defend themselves and their lives.

Despite that, they had a leader whose strength was almost on par with his. It was Dario Daza, a man who was at the peak of the strength of a human, that was also what made humans survive to this day.

“I am a king of the greatest demon country on the continent, but I feel selfish, for not being able to defend my people!” So said Andreas.

Maybe if you think about why a vampire from the strongest demon race, would want to end the war with humans or more clearly he wants peace? Because for Andreas however, if the war continues, no one will give up.

Satan with his selfishness who feels as the strongest creature, while humans who always feel that he is the ruler of the middle world.

Andreas could have destroyed the human world with his power, but it would have had a devastating effect as the world order became corrupted.

After all if he did that, Dario would not remain silent, he could also destroy the demon world with his great power, because the strength of Andreas and Dario was balanced in certain times.

As Andreas thought about it, the same thing Dario did. As a king of the humans who inhabited the supposedly beautiful and peaceful continent, he was overcome with guilt.

I don't know how many people have lost their homes, their families and their lives. Humans are increasingly decreasing time and leaving only a few million.

If the war continues, then that weak human will soon be wiped out.

Human life is not so long, making them die in a state of futility.

“Stopping this war or killing Andreas are two difficult things to do,” Dario said.

At that time he was meeting with several members of the royal senate, they had discussions and also strategies for the war against the vampires.

A discussion that never produces any results, other than defeat.

“War will not stop if no one wants to give up, the demons will not give up, so one way is just to kill them, including the king,” said one of the senates who was there.

“How to? Whereas Andreas Benedicto has tremendous power, as a vampire he is at the peak of strength, he can rise from the dead.” Dario said.

“We kill it. According to legend if a vampire was killed using a silver sword right in his heart then he would die,”.

However, the other senate replied, “ is not that easy. As long as the core of Andreas Benedicto's life is not going to die easily. Your Majesty said he will continue to rise from the dead. After all he has great magic and power.”

Then they discuss a plan that they think is good and they will run to do the next war.

Sometime after the lords' indecision, a war between humans and vampires resumed, bordering a continent they each lived on.

The war grew, killing each other, no matter what happened, what their fate would be.

Each one of them just wants a win.

It was then that Andreas and Dario had a one-on-one duel fight in the air, their strength would be freely exercised up there, because if it were under destruction it would get worse.

Their battle was like a yellow glint that collided with each other, invisible to the eyes of ordinary beings. So fast what happened.

Then Dario took out a sword that made the fight stop for a moment.

Looking at Dario who pulled out the sword Andreas reviewed the smile, as he knew what Dario was thinking.

“Medicine,” Andreas said. “You intend to end the war by killing me?”

The Sword of God was also known as the Life Cycle Seal Weapon, where if a creature was hit by that sword right in their heart, they would not be able to live anymore, could not reincarnate, the entire bloodline disappeared, he said, and he disappeared like dust.

The sword was first used by the king of men long before Dario, during the battle against Andrew, but Andrew still survives today, because the king died a ridiculous death.

Then the sword disappeared somewhere, and is considered for some creatures be it vampires or humans as a fairy tale.

“There is no other option. Whether you or I should die, that's the only way to end this war, ” Dario said.

“Are you sure if I die in this war, then you and all humans will be safe?” ask Andreas later.

“At least humans don't live in fear like this.”

“It turns out to be true, man is the most petty creature, he creates happiness by destroying other happiness.”

“How about you guys? You know that this war can end, but still do just that.”

“Alright then, what if we end this war with a deal.”

Then Andreas says an idea he thinks most will be, in which he wants to create a wall where a giant magic separates the demon continent and the human continent.

The wall will only work if each separate, because according to Andreas if only a part of it makes it the same as a lie.

Dario thought hard enough that he agreed to do the same, using the highest magic that could create peace at the expense of his soul and Andrew.

The agreement they also told all their respective people to cause war that day age. They went back to where they came from.

What Andreas did was actually very unfortunate by the residents and also the advisor, but only the only way.

“I will perform the ritual tomorrow when the world cycle changes, right at midnight,” Andreas said later when he reached his palace. “You prepared everything, including the sealing witches, so I wouldn't come back alive.”

By the time of the day they had both started performing the ritual of self-sacrifice, but some of the human higher ups did not accept it and thwarted the sacrifice of their King. As a result, only Andreas died and created the wall, although not as strong as expected.
