CHAPTER 16 | You are here John

After a short and simple opening ceremony, the conference began.

The new world expedition team presented their activities in conducting research to find and collect historical objects in all parts of the world. They say they found an ancient book they displayed on screen, providing clues to the existence of an ancient artifact that could change science and life in this world.

Further they did not explain in detail. John took note of every piece of information he received from the presentation. Also introduced was the head of the expedition team named Dr. Jasper is famous in the archaeological world.

In essence they say that they are looking for something by re-examining every discovery in the location of historical relics that exist according to the instructions in the book.

“We searched for a knife made from the bones of the first man” whispered Anthony who was a member of the expedition to Cindy who was sitting next to him.

“Bissue?” ask Cindy.

“This information is confidential, so please do not spread it except to members of expedition” continued Anthony back while giving a gesture of silence.

“Alik” said Cindy next to further pry information from the mouth of Anthony's bucket.

“The knife made from the first human bone, is the key to an eternity” he continued.

“Eternity” cut Cindy next while getting closer to Anthony to hear more.

“Iya. Long life. The knife has a simple shape, with five holes in the blade that looks like a gem” place, said Anthony next.

“I was on the team looking for the gem. We already have one of the gems. So we are looking for four more gems” Anthony said proudly.

“Permata” muttered Cindy while turning to the presentation screen that is almost over and showing the contact person if you want to join.

“If you want to join, I can recommend you Cindy” continued Anthony.

“After this presentation, the conference will open registration for those who want to join this expedition team. There are many benefits to this research. I hope you are willing to join Cindy.”, Anthony said.

After the presentation of the Expeditionary Team ended which was led by Dr. Jasper's. The event was then continued by the delivery of someone from the New World Company.

Seeming to later appear familiar to Cindy, Violet walked up the stage in front of the audience.

Violet on the stage began to look around her, and her gaze stopped on Cindy who was seen in the audience. He was smiling too. Then began to continue to give an explanation of the noble purpose of this expedition that made the archaeologists present feel excited including Cindy and Sara.

Only John paid close attention to all the information presented at this conference by occasionally looking around for a figure he might recognize.

John hoped to find his brother Khaga present at the conference, but he did not find him.

At the end of the presentation Violet invites the archaeologists of this world to join the perpetrators of history and spread the information to all their colleagues in the world.

The conference ended when Violet ended it. The next event was a casual banquet accompanied by the opening of registration for archaeologists who wanted to join the new world expedition team.

In the banquet hall, Cindy threw her gaze around looking for John among the people. It was unexpected that someone appeared to approach him.

“Nona Cindy” says the guy.

“Ah, miss Violet” says Cindy later

“You came also to this meeting” continued Violet.

“You know Miss Violet?” suddenly Anthony approached Cindy who was talking to Violet.

“It's nice to work for this expedition Miss Violet” said Anthony as he reached out his hand to shake Violet's hand.

Violet doesn't care about Anthony. He just looked at Cindy and asked, “Did John come with you here?”

Cindy looked suspiciously at Violet with that question.

“His face is only similar to someone I once knew” he continued as he sipped a glass of wine he carried.

As a woman, Cindy has a suspicious intuition towards other women who say her fiance's face is similar to that of someone she recognizes. These are high-level curious words for women.

“Kalo can tell where Miss Violet is like looking at my fiance's John face” asked Cindy.

“Bed” answered plain Violet honestly who made Cindy's head like it was about to break.

His heart felt sad listening to that.

“Do not get angry first. I just said similar” Violet next said as she giggled leaving Cindy full of questions.

Is correct. Violet's words made Cindy become suspicious and curious of him. He then enlists himself on a new world expedition team, hoping to get closer to finding information about Violet.

In a matter of hours, there have been many world archaeologists who joined the expedition, especially young archaeologists.

Sara who was present in the banquet hall with John next to her also hoped to join. But he is still a student. One day he will have to join, his determination in Sara's heart.

John next to Sara noticed Sara's spirit and determination with an amused smile.

“You turned out to be here John” suddenly a voice approached him.

John turned his head, again Violet approached him and extended her hand. To avoid suspicion, John shook Violet's hand.

John knew that Violet was a subordinate of his brother Khaga, so he was careful not to create a conflict with her that could nullify his deal with Khaga.

“Who is John?” sara asked John

“Oh, who else is this?” violet asked watching Sara who was looking at her suspiciously.

“Your engagement is here, while you are with another woman?” violet said heating up the situation that made John's eyes twitch.

“Tacto?” thought Sara made her face red. Is this John's fiancee? thought Sara then glared at John. Basic playboy thinks Sara.

John's head grew dizzy hearing Sara's mind and heart. He knew Violet's mind and heart that wanted to heat things up. John didn't know what to answer.

Violet then smiled amusedly at the two people who were about to start a fight.

“Alright, I won't bother you guys. Better watch. Maybe soon your fiance will come looking for you. Hihihi” continued Violet as she passed amusedly.

John could only restrain himself, unable to do anything. He just fell silent while looking at Violet's departure.

Sure enough, before long John felt a cold air approaching him. Then he slowly looked back and found Cindy had been behind him with a look like she was about to pounce on him.

“John, you haven't answered my question. Do you know that guy?” sara asked John who was staring.

“John, Sara, it turns out you're here” Cindy said coldly

During his long life, John had never encountered such a situation. He who valiantly faced various life-and-death battles, turned out to be currently helpless to speak before these two women.

“Sara let's find a place to eat while traveling around the city istanbul” take Cindy to Sara after seeing John who sculpt there.

Before long, Cindy stopped and turned to John “Remember your promise to treat me to John. Why don't you come?” said ketus.
