The Estuary of Desire Baruna

The Estuary of Desire Baruna
Eps. #23 Too Spoiled

The afternoon. After the funeral, Baruna and Ardila went straight home and found Arkha and Mutiara sitting back and drinking coffee on the porch of the mansion.

"Una, sit here! Papa wants to talk to you," Arkha's orders call his son.

"Well, Pa." said Baruna obediently, then sat down on the chair next to Arkha.

"Dila, come on you sit here too!" arkha continued, also ordering Ardila to sit on one of the chairs on the terrace.

Ardila did not argue, he immediately sat between Arkha and Pearl, next to Baruna.

A servant hurriedly approached them, bringing two cups of tea and a few pieces of cake for Baruna and Ardila.

"Oh yeah, where have you been?" ask Arkha to start their conversation.

"We've finished our pilgrimage to Mama Livina's grave, Pa. After that, we went for a walk." Ardila explained where he and Baruna had gone before to Arkha.

Arkha just nodded his head, he knew that Ardila had always been diligent in pilgrimages to Livina's tomb.

"But there was something a little strange there, Pa," said Ardila. "Not usually anyone else also visits Mama Livina's grave. I saw a rose that looked fresh there." Ardila told Arkha what he found in the tomb.

Ardila was indeed very close to Arkha, so even the little things he would tell the man who was considered his biological father, and even that had happened since he was a child.

"Rose flowers are fresh?" Arkha raised one end of his eyebrow.

"Who's visiting Livina's grave?" arkha wondered. He also felt a little surprised because there is usually no one else to visit the tomb of Livina other than Ardila.

"Kok looks like Papa was surprised to hear my story?" ardila asked when she realized Arkha was surprised when she told her papa about the flower.

"It's okay, honey. Papa was just a little surprised, all this time your mama Livina, has no relatives or relatives in this city. Papa was just wondering why someone else had suddenly visited his grave? The only person closest to Livina in the city is Alfin" Arkha said.

"Alfin?" Ardila rounded her eyes when she heard Arkha say someone's name.

"Who's alfin, Pa?" her question was curious, because only this time did she hear Arkha mention that name.

"Ee, that ... that ..." Arkha. Without realizing it he slipped into a name that he always kept secret from the past to all his children.

"Alfin the name of a childhood friend of Papa Arkha and Mama Livina, Dila. But now he lives abroad. It could be that he was in this city and deliberately came to make a pilgrimage to the tomb of Mama Livina," said Pearl. Realizing her husband had spoken wrongly, Pearl quickly interjected and looked for an excuse to divert.

"Ooh." Ardila simply nodded, while Pearl and Arkha glanced at each other with a secret code implied from the gazes of the eyes of the two.

"Papa's got something for you both." Arkha quickly shifted their conversation topic as well.

"Ra, please get me the box in the room, honey!" arkha's orders to his wife. And Pearl did not refuse, she immediately moved from her seat to go to the room.

Smiling meaningfully, Arkha grabbed the box and opened it.

"Papa bought this for you, Una." Arkha took a remote key from inside the box and handed it to Baruna.

"What is this, Pa?" Baruna's eyes widened as Arkha gave him a large wireless key motor. From the logo on the wireless key, Baruna knew that the motorbike belonged to the category of racing motors with a capacity of 1100 cc engine and engine power also exceeded 200 horse power.

"Why buy me a motorbike?" tanya Baruna, feel very happy because he got a motorcycle that has long been his dream, which is a big motorcycle made in Italy and of course the price is not just cans.

"Yes, Una. As promised, papa bought you a motorbike as a gift, because you have completed your education in Sydney." Arkha smiled looking at the excited face of his son because he had gotten the motorbike he had been craving all along.

"Thank you very much, Pa!" Baruna also smiled. During this time, Arkha always gives what he wants if he achieves a success.

"And this is for you, Dila. Soon you'll also get your S2 title, right?" Arkha also handed over another remote to Ardila.

"Well, papa bought me a new car! Thank you, Pa!" Ardila looked very happy. Arkha gave him a premium hatchback remote, the latest type of city car made in Germany which is also definitely very expensive.

"Una, Monday tomorrow, Papa asks you to come to the office and start learning to take care of the company! Papa wants you to be able to replace Papa immediately to lead the company" Arkha said. He was already impatient to teach Baruna to run his company.

"Monday's fine?" Baruna frowned. "Is it gonna be that fast, Pa?" sergeant Baruna.

"When else, Una? You have graduated. It's your duty to continue Papa's work" Arkha said, hoping Baruna would fulfill her wish.

"Monday starts tomorrow I promise to help Floretta find a new job, if Papa told me to work in his office, how can I drop him off?" batin Baruna was worried.

"Let me have time for a vacation, Pa. I just returned to my homeland. Let me have some fun first enjoy my youth. I don't want to be a slave to work yet" said Baruna, blatantly rejecting her father's wishes.

Arkha only let out a rough sigh and nodded his head, understanding his son's will.

"Ok, okay! Papa give you another month to freely enjoy your vacation, Una. But after that, there will be no more dispensation. You must follow Papa's wishes!" arkha said with emphasis.

"Good, Pa." Baruna smiled again. After Arkha gave him another month of freedom, he was very confident that during that time, he would be able to help Floretta get a better job.

"Come, Brother! Let's see the gift papa gave me!" invite Baruna excited, while pulling Ardila's hand to take her to the yard of the house. He knew that the new motorbike and car Arkha had given them, must have been in the garage.

Ardila just nodded, he looked very enthusiastic to immediately try the new vehicle Arkha gave him.

"You're spoiling them too much, Bang!" pearl protest after her two children left them both on the terrace.

"It's okay, honey. I also give them a gift because they have an achievement. Otherwise, I won't give you anything" Arkha said lightly. However, a smile was on his lips. There is a sense of pride that he feels seeing his children grow into people who are smart and achievers according to his expectations.
